“I met Katie shortly before I had knee surgery to repair tears on my meniscus. It had been about 6 months of regular pain, forcing me to refrain from running, working out, or even so much as doing a full body squat without pain and/or an unsettling click. Katie worked with me to identify the problems I was having and introduced me to a series of progressively more dynamic exercises to build up my mobility and strength to a level beyond where I was before my injury.Besides her mastery of physical therapy (and the fact that Katie is just an awesome person), these three things stood out to me the most:1: Katie uses a collaborative, educational approach to her work with her clients, and she is a fantastic instructor and coach. Moving my body in new ways was sometimes difficult, but her ability to articulate the exercises using auditory and visual cues was super helpful. Seeing something and hearing it in terms I understood made the process more enjoyable, and especially let me see why certain movements hurt, and how to improve upon them. Real-time cues while doing exercises also helped to hone in on the pieces I might be missing, and especially the pieces I was doing well. Both helped tremendously.2: Katie is extremely patient. Again, moving my body in new ways was sometimes difficult, which often left me spinning my wheels as I tried to get the movements right. Not once did she even remotely seem frustrated or impatient as I struggled. Instead, she showed enthusiasm for even the smallest improvements, and celebrated all of my little wins. It made learning and getting stronger a pleasant experience that motivated me each step of the way. Katie’s office is a safe place that fosters improvement in surprising ways.3: Katie is an empathic practitioner who understands your pain, and truly wants you to get better and be your best self. Knowing that she was on my side, seeing her celebrate my little wins, all of it. Katie made my pain feel understood from the first day, and inspired me to have confidence in both my progress and my potential once I was back in action.I highly recommend Katie for anyone who is ready to feel good in their body. She’s a treasure.“

Private coaching or small group workouts with individual specific plans designed by the coaches is awesome! It’s very much like one on one coaching at a very reasonable cost. It’s a family atmosphere with coaches & participants of all ages supporting each other!“
6 - 11AM
2214 NE Oregon St, Portland“Wish I’d joined sooner! I’ve always tried to stay active but I never really had a clear plan. Paul listened to my goals, developed a workout for me, and I’m seeing results which has positively impacted my everyday life more than I expected. I was carrying a heavy table the other day with no problem and sort of surprised myself because there’s no way I could have done that a few months ago. You can tell Peak Condition actually cares and they treat everyone with respect. The workouts vary to keep things interesting and I appreciate that they play a good mix of music. If you are wanting to take your fitness to the next level or just get started, Peak Condition is the way to go.“

Our athlete was already putting in the work, attending the team workouts and practices, but they were missing that extra oomph in terms of strength.Ami makes it fun and enjoyable to train, she is very motivating and encouraging for young athletes. If motivation, strength, flexibility, and personal attention is what you’re looking for, Adira is it!“

Over the course of two years, I've had the privilege of training under Coach Tip, and throughout this journey, I've consistently grown and learned. Beyond just fitness, Tip and Tarah, along with their sweet pups, Tsunami and Typhoon, have become good friends. Going to the gym is the highlight of my day!In addition to my regular workouts, I'm also an active member of the PDX Fit powerlifting team. I can honestly say that being part of this gym and the team we've created has brought me immense joy.If you're contemplating joining PDX Fit, I wholeheartedly encourage you to take the plunge - you won't be disappointed. :)“
“I trained with Ryan years ago at 24 Hour Fitness, including through 9 months of pregnancy with my daughter. I credit my strength to an incredibly easy labor. I came back to Ryan in Dec 2023, 10 months after ACL and meniscus repair surgery after a basketball injury. I trust Ryan because he's not just focused on getting you stronger, he is focused like a laser on making sure you use proper form. This is important to me after suffering my first sports injury at age 41. In just 2 months my strength and confidence in my repaired knee are extraordinary. I'm committed to my health, and that means I'm committed to Ryan and Valley Strength and Fitness.“
“Friendly, patient, effective. Perfect if you're new to the gym, are worried about being lost or intimidated, or need training that's tailored for you. Very highly recommend.“

333 S State St W, Lake Oswego“I have belonged to a handful of gyms over the years, and I can honestly say Trainer’s Club is the the best in every category that matters to me- Cleanliness, equipment quality & upkeep and staff friendliness. The locker rooms and amenities are second to none and IMMACULATE.They have a team of trainers who are always on hand and super helpful without the condensation that often accompanies those roles. They really make it easy to get started and / or continue your commitment to better health.I am sometimes called away from town for stretches of time and have done temporary memberships elsewhere to keep my momentum going and it really makes me appreciate Trainers’ Club’s level of quality and service.None have even come close.“

7AM - 2PM
397 N State St Suite A, Lake Oswego“My goal for working with Matt was increased flexibility and strength. With his support, I'm reaching those goals and exceeding what I expected. Matt understands how the human body works better than any physical therapist I've worked with, and tailors his workouts to your needs and abilities. That's important at 90! He pushes—oh, so gently. Never too much. He's a cheerleader in the best possible sense. With once a week sessions in Lake Oswego, my husband and I are improving our stamina and confidence in living the years in which it's so tempting just to sit around.“
10 AM - 5 PM
1644 SE Clatsop St, Portland“Oh my goodness!! I thought I had experienced every kind of massage possible in my 60 years, but Thai massage with Anne was something I had never experienced. I came away totally relaxed, but energized... not a noodle, \\\"who beat up my body?\\\" feeling. It was absolutely perfect for balancing out my body and moving energy to release what was lodged in all those hard to get to spots! I highly recommend gettin on Anne's schedule!“
“Beautiful facility, great equipment, unmatched coaching. Learn how to strength train with the best team around.“
5:30AM - 9:30PM
815 NE Halsey St, Portland“I was only able to work with Khino for a short time, but he was still able to significantly increase the intensity and variety of my workouts, and I started to see and feel the results within a few months. I’ve had a lot of injuries in the past, and he was careful to work around problem areas and find solutions so I could still get full body workouts. I would definitely work with him again in the future.“

5621 SE Center St, Portland“Noel Fuller is in the top 1% of Trainers on the West Coast. No nonsense approach. Such a vast knowledge of Bodybuilding, Fitness, exercise, and Diet. He has been there, done it, lifted it, tossed it, and done it again. He turns the Average in to Beasts. He has a large number of Professional Bodybuilders, Figure, and Swimsuit under his belt. I won't mention names because of Legalities. Even if you don't want to train but get lean and ripped through Diet-Noel Fuller is the MAN!!! I stopped lifting for 20 Years due to Back Injury. Jay is an amazing body worker and incorporated a variety techniques masterfully and seamlessly to address all of my concerns, mostly old sports injuries. He is super intuitive and clearly dedicated to his craft because he has 24 years of experience. “My 80-year-old mother suffered surgery complications and came to live with me for a year. During that time, Lori Vance was instrumental in helping her recover and rebuild her strength. Lori trained with my mother 1-2 times per week, and gave her exercises to perform at home multiple times daily. In their sessions, Lori carefully tracked my mother's progress and supported and encouraged her progress with kindness and determination. I highly recommend Lori for anyone seeking expert guidance in senior fitness. With a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by older adults, Lori is a dedicated professional who excels at creating tailored fitness programs that prioritize safety, functionality, and overall well-being. Her compassionate approach fostered trust and confidence in my mother, inspiring her to maintain a high quality of life. Lori is an ideal partner on a fitness journey who offers not only physical support but also a genuine commitment to improving health and vitality.“
7AM - 3PM
5235 SE Clinton St, Portland“There really is no one that compares with Shelly! I trained with her for over a year until I moved, and not seeing her every week was honestly one of the worst parts of moving. She is so smart and thoughtful about what she does: explains why she's having you do certain exercises, takes the time to teach you and then push you to continuously get better, and thinks about fitness in a holistic way beyond solely working out. The most fitness progress I have ever seen is when I was training with Shelly and receiving advice from her on what to be doing outside of our weekly sessions as well. On top of all that, she is a great person who I looked forward to seeing every week! I wholeheartedly recommend her to create a tailored fitness program for you and your needs.“
“Great studio- open and airy with big windows. Excellent instructors- everyone I’ve worked with is highly skilled, patient and knowledgeable. Love this place!“
“In town visiting family. The day passes online ($15) required 6-hours of notice, but I texted the number on the website and they said I could come in right then. They texted me a code and I had the gym more or less to myself. Super clean and well maintained, with squat racks and Rouge plates (bumper and what I think are the calibrated competition ones).Super pleasant and exactly what I was looking for. I’m excited to come back next time I visit!“
