I’m in my 70’s and for various reasons have not been doing any exercise for over 5 years. I decided to take back my body so I could enjoy the next phase of my life - retirement!!! A friend told me about WellNest and I decided to give them a try. They’re located in the Peter Harris Plaza and are easy to get to from anywhere. I went in to check it out and met with owner Bill. I walked out all signed up for ten sessions with a Personal Trainer, Jason. I am so glad I took this chance. The gym itself is small and personal but has everything you need. Jason patiently listened while I whined about how I haven’t done anything for such a long time and that I had some ongoing physical issues that made me nervous. He developed a program taking all this into consideration and I’m now in the middle of my second ten sessions. I go twice weekly and Jason continues to listen to me whine and at the same time encourages me to keep going. I totally see a big difference in my abilities and am determined to let him get me to a point that I’m comfortable maintaining. I love that the trainers (Jason for me) listens every session to what I say and adjusts my workout accordingly. I can’t recommend this place or their staff enough. You won’t be sorry if you give it a try!!!“

57 Karner Rd, Albany“The gym is clean, well stocked with equipment and has a great staff. I am currently working in a small group lead by Justin, and he's fantastic! We're all at different fitness levels, and he plans our sessions with each one of us in mind. He thoughtfully plans so everyone is accommodated in a way that brings maximum benefit for all and meets each of us where we're at. He's encouraging without coddling. I'm accomplishing things I had no idea I could do! Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend.“

“Evan is knowledgeable, confident, and unafraid to give detailed lessons. I've watched him deal with those new to fitness and veterans, young and old, man and woman. His ability to handle multiple people at once, yet be focused and give one the sensation of undivided attention is a boon. His programs are designed for each person, to each person, and I can say - do not be afraid to ask him questions.He is the sort to sand the rough away, and streamline effort; so that The Goal may be reached efficiently, and within the parameters of an individual's safety buffer.The gym itself is bare bones - and that, for me, is best. It is simplistic, yet has everything that anyone could need. The atmosphere is independent; small conversations when a workout is done, but no one takes up the floor or wanders: Everyone is there to meet The Goal.I recommend this gym to anyone who is serious about starting fitness, or getting their momentum back.“

The trainers curate fitness plans for every client really geared to whatever that person's fitness goal is, even if it's simply getting into better shape. I've seen people at every level of fitness in there and everyone is always having a blast. The trainers really listen, stress health and avoiding injury, and it's hands down the best gym/fitness experience I've ever had.“

5 Holliswood Dr, Latham“So glad I found an experienced massage therapist who truly knows, understands and practices her craft. Honestly, after each session I felt better. I looked forward to our sessions because I knew that I would feel relaxed and relieved after each encounter. She has GREAT bed side manner. Her hands are truly gifted. The space is private and relaxing. She does have a dog and cat however, you’d never truly know until you see them. I would recommend her space because it is private and relaxing. If you are looking to be serviced by a massage therapist who knowledgeable, kind and caring look no further. Have a GREAT experience!“

Kevin makes you feel like you have a personal trainer and doesn't push you at the same time. He is wonderful to work with. The workouts are fun and engaging as well. You leave there knowing and feeling like you have had a thorough workout. I would recommend all my friends and family to go and work with Kevin. This is my favorite gym and I will keep going back.“

I was nervous, but reached out to inquire, and I received a text back within less than five minutes from the owner Nahar. I scheduled a couple private sessions with her, and then began joining the beginning classes at the studio. After attending a few classes, I began to notice a significant difference in the way my back and pelvis felt, and I began to regain a significant range of motion. I've attended various fitness classes before at other locations and always felt like the instructors had minimal training, so they didn't know what to look for or correct and injuries were always a concern, but to say that Nahar is an expert at her craft is an understatement. She knows how every single movement affects every single thing in the body, and is very good at communicating it in ways everyone can understand. I'm looking forward to progressing through the classes!“
