Over the last few years I've taken classes/worked out on and off in the area - Orange Theory, F45, Pilates, Yoga and even had a trainer come to my building most recently. If you have a child and busy work schedule, training scheduling is a big deal. It's the main reason I had to cut the cord on places like Orange Theory because the wide window to cancel just didn't work for me. J Trains process to schedule sessions a week out based on what you have going on works very well for me. They still have a cancel window but every week is a reset and he works with you and the rest of his clients based on availability. Now on to the more important part - the work out. While I did like the convenience of having a trainer come to my building, I see higher value in going to their studio. All of the equipment is ready to go so you jump right in the second you arrive. All training is 1 on 1. The trainers are professional, they course correct every step of the way, and explain what muscles you are working and why. Finally, I do like the fact that this is a small business that has been a part of the Hoboken community for a number of years. The owner lives in the area, and at times partners with other local businesses to either support local charities, or help promote those other businesses.“
