“United TKD in Carlstadt is just wonderful with the children of all ages and maturity level. I have my 2 boys who are currently active. Their experience has been nothing but great! They have learned discipline, self-confidence, self control and time management. As young as 4 years old my son was able to compete in TKD competions and build confidence in himself. Master Sam and Instructor John help the children strengthen their weak points and continue to build on their strengths. I highly recommend this center!“

Yet within a couple of weeks, we saw in him a new confidence and an eagerness to attend class and demonstrate his newfound skills, which was a big change, especially with other sports we had tried.Steve is a kind of kid-whisperer in how he teaches classes, instilling in the students a healthy respect for the traditions of tae kwon do and providing encouragement every step of the way. Our child progressed through increasing belt levels regularly, and he was deservedly proud of his accomplishments.
