“My 9 year-old son has been a student with the academy (formerly Edgewater Kung Fu Academy) for the past 2 years. He enjoys the classes and has made many friends. The instructors (Sifu Romain, Sifu Robinson, and Jiao Lian Begolli) are excellent and make the classes challenging and fun. My son is excited to work towards his sash (belt) rank journey. “My boys have been going to Faustinis for a year and a half and it has been so wonderful. Sensei Lynn and Sensei Brianna are wonderful teachers! Karate has helped my kids with their attention spans and their confidence and has also really helped them learn how to work hard for something. “The best wrestling club I've ever come across. Tons of mat space and equipment, tons of talent, incredible pedigree. All the best mma and bjj guys cross-train here. Other reviews seem to be somewhat out of date, this is mainly a wrestling gym now and no longer offers muay thai or boxing.“

“My son has been attending Tiger Kim's school for a few years now and has really enjoyed his experience. The school is well-organized, communicative with parents, and has created a family-like environment for all its students. It also has a great waiting/seating area where you can watch your kid's class. The Masters train the kids with a healthy balance of discipline and fun and are very supportive and patient. There are also a lot of fun activities planned for the kids during the year like a spring picnic, holiday party, and a Halloween party. In general, I would highly recommend Tiger Kim's Taekwondo school for kids of all ages.“

It is a competitive environment but everyone at the gym is nice and truly cares about each other. I have improved technique and form in a short matter of time. “I have practiced kumdo off and on for a few years at different locations, including in Korea. Of all the Masters who has taught me, Master Min is by far the best. Not only does he (and Master Lee) stress fundamentals of kumdo, which can easily be translated into any phases of life, but also - and more importantly - takes time to explain why. He and Master Lee are very knowledgeable and very personable.Although my current schedule doesn't allow me to practice now, I recently enrolled my two kids and have been very happy with this decision. My son, in particular, within a short period of time, has gained self-confidence. Martial arts can be monotonous at times, especially for kids. Master Min recognizes this and incorporates fun games that enhances kumdo skills for all kids to enjoy. Thank you, SMK!“
