“I have been a member of CruzMMA for about 2 weeks now and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. All instructors are clear and concise with instructions. It is a competitive environment but everyone at the gym is nice and truly cares about each other. I have improved technique and form in a short matter of time. Professor Plinio and Professor Thiago are the best instructors I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend CruzMMA if you live in the area or if you are looking for a new environment to get great training.“

250 Broadway, Bayonne“The best martial arts school in Bayonne and Jersey City. I had my daughter in another school a few years ago and I'm glad we decided to make a change. The other school was way overpriced and primarily focused on ripping you off. I love that the kids actually spar and get to utilize what they've learned. Grandmaster, Tom, and the rest of the staff are great and extra patient with all the kids. Thank you for the great work.“

406 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove“our son LOVED his week at nature camp! he is really happy and enjoyed exploring the forest and learning about all of its inhabitants while making friends. Candace and Ray were so welcoming and understanding of kids who need a little extra time to feel comfortable in a new environment. at the end of the program our son was so confident and proud to take us on the trail their group would take. so glad we decided to sign him up for camp and that there is a nature program that also involves discovering and studying the environment a little further. looking forward to going to camps again in the future!“
“My daughter loves this place shes been going for about two years now. It gets her out of the house and off the ipad for a couple hours. They keep it very clean and everyone is always wearing a mask, they sanitize the childrens hands when entering and leaving. I highly recommend.“
“I had such a great experience training at this place. The instructors are fantastic and so patient. People training there are always friendly and helping each other. This martial arts school does not only train your body but also train your spirit!“
“Incredible! Everyone here, from the instructors, to the owners are humble and want to help you out. I knew I wanted to be active but was not wanting to go to a traditional gym. Glad I stopped by and signed up. My favorite part is there are other people here in the same boat as me, looking to make a change and be around like minded individuals. There’s no pressure and you are never forced into contact or anything that makes you uncomfortable. It’s nice when your “no face hits” boundary is respected. 5 stars!“
“I recently started my journey in Aikido, and Iaido. My first impression with my first class was phenomenal staff working together to assist me. I currently enjoy being at the school, and training with the instructors, and students. Hopefully, I obtain a black belt in a few years. Thank you Aikido Schools of New Jersey.“

Other reviews seem to be somewhat out of date, this is mainly a wrestling gym now and no longer offers muay thai or boxing.“

“New Jersey Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Kwan has been an amazing experience for our youngest child, who sometimes takes a while to warm up to people and new situations. Yet within a couple of weeks, we saw in him a new confidence and an eagerness to attend class and demonstrate his newfound skills, which was a big change, especially with other sports we had tried.Steve is a kind of kid-whisperer in how he teaches classes, instilling in the students a healthy respect for the traditions of tae kwon do and providing encouragement every step of the way. Our child progressed through increasing belt levels regularly, and he was deservedly proud of his accomplishments. The space itself is airy, clean and well-lighted, which makes it a pleasure to visit. We're thankful for the positive impact it's had on our kid!“
