I met Melina years ago at her very first location and I never stopped coming back. Fast forward to now I currently still use Melina for any and all services. I went and seen Shannon the other day and got quite a bit of hair cut off and when I left, I liked the cut. I didn't love it but I was happy with it. Now me not loving it is nothing against Shannon, it's me. I'm hard to love stuff especially ON ME! That being said a few days later and styling it a couple different ways I absolutely LOVE this cut! So versatile and easy just like I told her I wanted. I have naturally curly hair and she did NOT cut it too short as many do! She was very sweet and easy to talk to. And my cut is perfect! And now with the shorter length it takes zero effort really to brush wash condition and style it. She did a fantastic job. ? and I enjoyed the time spent there with her.

Jr took us at the last minute upon us calling and he did a fantastic job. I have been tanning at BVI for about 3-1/2 years now. Prices are reasonable for packages. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful! I can’t tell you how many questions I’ve had about the lotions since I have very sensitive skin. I use all the different level beds they have and never had any issues. The matrix is an awesome addition. I love using this bed a few times before I leave for vacation as it quickly enhances my color. Highly recommend! ?

It was the first time at this location and I haven't had my nails done in years. I was a walk-in today and only waited about 5 minutes. I believe it was Jack that did my nails. He was very personable. I really enjoyed our small talk. He asked me what shape I wanted and I advised I wanted colored tips. A lady there showed me all the colors and I picked the red glitter. It looked really nice on the nail. I must say, I loved Jack and I loved the shape and nail quality. I'm not a fan of the color. I feel like he should have done a second coat so you couldn't see through the tips of my nails. Since it's my first time here, I didn't say anything about it but next time I go, I'll come in with a photo of what I want and how I want them to look. I'll definitely be back because Jack is quick and the quality is top tier. Check out their Instagram...a lot of cool designs are on there. I'll use that for my inspiration for next time. They're also priced reasonably for being in the city.

We have been going to My Nails for many years. I don't get my nails done anywhere, so I can't comment on that service. But we have gotten many, many pedicures and have always been happy with the results. And in a world where so many services have become so impersonal, we appreciate the warm personal welcome we always get from Tracy and Zoom.

We walked into the salon this morning and asked if it was appointment only. Kim was the only person working at the time and she said that since she was short staffed she does ask for appointments; however if my daughter and I came back in 20 minutes she would be glad to help us. We came back just as she was finishing up with her scheduled appointment and she started our pedicures right away. We both immensely enjoyed our pedicures, the conversation, and getting to know Kim as the owner of City Nails. We had been looking for a salon that offered quality work and we have found it! We will definitely be scheduling future appointments with Kim!

About 2 years ago, I decided to get my hair cut ultra short. The first short hair cut my hairstylist of many years gave me was an excellent cut. After that, she was not able to give me a pixie cut that worked with my fine, thin hair. I stayed with her for about 2 years complaining about the cut. After that I went to 2 salons in Clemmons to try to get a good cut. They were terrible... I then read reviews for Mark Mattox at Champney & Company and decided to try him. He is awesome! I thought it would take a couple of cuts for him to fix my bad haircut, but he fixed it the first t time. I was hoping for a good cut, but what I got was a great cut. Not only did I get the best short haircut I've ever had, but he is a delight. He is easy to talk to and he gives styling tips for my short, fine hair. My original stylist is great with longer haircuts and color, but she just was not able to give me a good short haircut. Mark gets my highest recommendation! I wish I could give him more than 5 stars.

I came to Grassroots (crying) after another salon botched up a haircut. They cut it uneven and too short. This was a few years ago and my stylist performed an absolute MIRACLE! She has since left (I do not remember her name!) but I have continued to return. I have since had my hair done several times with Audra (who I absolutely love as well!) I have since moved from Winston because of the high rent and how dangerous the city has become, but Grassroots is a salon that I wish I could give a higher review because it's going to be so hard to match their level of expertise and professionalism. The salon is very clean, void of declutter. The staff - stylists and receptionist are extremely professional. The work is top tier and I have always left better than when I came in. Every single appointment I have had at Grassroots, I felt like I was listened to and both stylists completely knew EXACTLY what I was talking about. I brought in an old photo of myself from high school and Audra matched my hair color perfectly! As a client I felt 110% taken care of and respected. This was my first tattoo and Adam was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the tattoo process. He helped it to be a positive experience and I would definitely go back. Their work is beautiful, they are very professional, and their prices are very reasonable.Their shop is clean and bright and full of wonderful historical tattoo memorabilia and art that makes the place fun to visit even if you do not plan to get tattooed. Walked into Art Attack Tattoo today to inquire about a tattoo and decided to get a flash tattoo to commemorate my upcoming move back to the ATL! Once Simon came out to meet me I knew I had nothing to worry about. Simon is professional and quick with his work. It only took him approximately 30 minutes to complete my tattoo. Of course it helps that the customer can be perfectly still and no need for stops.

On vacation my daughter and I stopped in to get some piercings. The service we received was amazing. The piercer talked to me about the look I wanted and how to achieve it best. He let me know the piercing I wanted was tough to heal and there was another way to get the same look. The piercings were fast and efficient. It has been the piercing experience I have had. I had my tragus and a lower helix done. My daughter had three upper helix piercings done.
I looked at all the reviews of different tattoo places. All most had 4.5 to 5 stars. So I went at looked at everyone's photos of tattoos and especially ones they did that wasn't in their book. I actually saw one of the artists doing one which noone else did. Was especially clean, very nice and told me no lies and gave me a quote. He doesn't know it yet my artist tattoo on me is gonna be in a contest with the other guys I served with in the military. Was Was especially hard because it was a cover up. Most of it is done bit I have another hour to have it finished. I looked around very well and couldn't find ANYTHING wrong. While I was having it done they had music or TV including Netflix for me to watch. Also another artist came in and talked to me as well. This is a special place with special people. I have Jay working on my piece and still has to add color bit only using black and Grey tones you already can't see it even though I only have the black and white done. This guy has a gift and people should know that if they want a GREAT tattoo at a fair price this is the place to go to hands down. When it finished I will post a before and after photo on here. Also will let you know how it goes in the contest between my buddies I served with. Don't call anyone else. Call this place and make an appointment. You have to make an appointment unless it's something simple and small. It's worth the wait to make a consultation and apt. to have thus place do your tattoo. I'm VERY picky especially when it's gonna be on me for the rest of my life. Don't make a mistake. Go to this place first so you don't waste your time at another place because this place gets 5 stars from me and I have NEVER given 5 stars to ANY review I have EVER done. Jay is the man for sure. Could write a lot more but I think what I have said sums up any and all questions of who should do your tattoo or piercing. Great place and great people. 5 stars for sure.

I tried to replace our kitchen sink faucet but since I couldn’t I called James who was out of town because of an emergency with his daughter. Even though he was under a lot of stress he still came out and replaced our faucet. He is very good and friendly.
We had the water line replaced from the meter to the home, the turn around was fantastic and everyone was so professional. They located a leak inside the home, fixed it and had them look at the water heater as it needed a new element. Before they replaced the elements, they innocence the water heater and found a leak that existed when the last plumber services the water heater. They replaced the water heater, added an expansion tank to bring the water heater up to code. They were very efficient, courteous and super nice. Even cleaned up their mess from each portion of the installation and removal process. EXCELLENT VALUE, if you need plumbing work completed, call Andy, Michelle or Brian they will get your problem solved. My new go to for plumbing needs.
We bought an older home a little over a year ago and have been using A1 Plumbing ever since. When we first moved in, we had a refrigerator line burst and Victor talked my husband through how to shut it off. He never charged us for that phone call. The next time we called, we had a leaky toilet that wasn’t caught during inspection. I was very worried it had leaked through the sub floor (we’d had a flood in our previous home). Scott and Victor were the fastest to respond (this was during Covid and another company we called didn’t even return our call). Scott assured me it hadn’t reached the sub floor but when he saw I was still panicked, he removed the toilet (for free) to show me. Since then they’ve been to our home multiple times for issues ranging from leaky faucets to a cracked water heater. (Like I said - older home) They’re always fast to respond, very personable and extremely fair in their pricing, often pricing products for us before giving us a final quote to make sure we can get the cheapest rate. I trust them for all our plumbing repairs and haven’t bothered to call another company since. 10/10 would recommend and we have recommended them to both family and our neighbors.

We hired Sylvester Cockrum to complete a major update to our building HVAC system. They replaced two 80 ton systems from the 1960's with two new Daikan 120 ton package units. The communication, profesioninalsm, and quality of work through out the project was excellent. The project was completed on budget and much quicker then I expected.
The City of WS uses this company which is how I met Keith. He was on call for Pendergrass & Holder when I needed some work. What a delightful person! He fixed my issue, explained what he did and how it would affect my house water line. He answered my questions and did a thorough job. I will be calling them for my plumbing needs in the future!

Alex Dominguez is a great plumber! When he analyzed the problem and then clearly and quickly explained his solution I knew he was the man for the job. Then the service manager, James Caudle, came out to make sure everything was done properly and it was. They were friendly, reasonable, professional and most importantly KNOWLEDGEABLE. James Caudle has been working around plumbing since he was 14 and has had training with different companies. His experience enables him to discern if the plan will work. The camaraderie between Bodenheimer’ s technicians and supervisors is refreshing to see. They are an old school family type business with a keen ability to engineer solutions in the field. I highly recommend them.

I was so impressed with Ken's work. A friend recommended him to me for some lighting issues I was having. I called and we talked about several times, and finally he said he would come on Labor Day, which was so amazing because I couldn't make it home during the day to meet him. (I even offered him so Bojangles but he declined.) He worked quickly and efficiently. He even didn't mind my very large lap dog trying to help him out. I will be calling him for all my future needs, I can't brag on him enough! Also, he only takes cash.

These guys go above and beyond. We had recessed lighting installed in 4 bedrooms, three ceiling fans replaced, and four existing recessed lights retrofitted with new casings and bulbs. From beginning to end, the process was seamless and so easy. On top of it all, everyone we worked with was very kind and pleasant. The electricians covered everything and easily clean it after a job like this was enough to make me put this off for a while. But I had read other reviews that this company covers everything and takes care of everything. It was so so so great not to have to deal with the aftermath. They set down tarps on the stairs in the hallways, etc. So much care and thought into everything. They accomplished it early in the afternoon. Everything was clean and wonderfully lit up. I can't recommend these guys enough. I never write reviews but felled compelled to do so for this company. I truly appreciate when a service company goes above and beyond. Thank you!

Needed my delicate white couch to be deep cleaned and after having one company say that it’s impossible and will only make it worse due to it being 5% duck down, I reached out to steam source, and I’m glad I did. We are new to the area and we bought a property and we did a lot of vendor research. They honestly just came up on a Google search, but they had good reviews and they came out quickly. My husband and I were hoping not to use big box stores, but it was hard to beat the big box store prices. Logan came out and measured he was super nice! He gave us a lot of helpful information about our options and then he told us we should come to the show room. Just a note I absolutely recommend going to their showroom. The only issue we had was our work schedules were hectic and they close at 4. They were nice enough, keep the store open and wait for us to come by after hours. Not only were their prices the same as the big box store their customer service and quality of work is way better.
We had to wait on the materials, but when they scheduled to come put our floors down, we never thought in 1 million years they would be done in one day. They finished in one day!
The quality of the work is just gorgeous and we were actually going to wait to get our kitchen floors done but they did such a fantastic job in the rest of the house, It’s hard to look at the ugly kitchen floor compared to the beautiful new floor. We decided to go ahead and get measurements and start looking at our next project with them. Lugardo Flooring did an excellent job installing new laminate flooring in 2 bedrooms and a master closet as well as installing new treads and risers on the steps. They had flooring installed in a day and stairs by the next day. They do not overcharge you for the job unlike others I got quotes for. I would highly recommend them and will use them for any future flooring jobs!

I’ve used Bain as my oil delivery service for many years. I needed some troubleshooting on my Trane heat/ a/c unit. They fixed the blown fuse and before the technician left he expressed his concern on the way the fan was blowing. He said it should not be running that slow. He checked it out, and turns out the condenser unit was in need of replacing. He installed a new one, and now it’s running good as new. I appreciate the technician being meticulous in his service and fixing the condenser unit before it completely went out! The technician was very thorough and explained everything! Top notch customer service! Same day service as well! I called around 11:30 in the morning and service was complete by 1:45. I will continue to use Bain again and again and I highly recommend!

I was in extreme pain because of a bulging disk which developed for some odd reason of replacement knee surgery. The worse pain I have every experienced. The spine specialist I was going to suggested that I go to a chiropractor and felt this would be beneficial. Dr. Tim Singler accesses my situation, formulated and action plan, and begin treatment. I am now ant a level 1 in pain which is a result of a mild arthritis issue.

Absolutely love coming here. The staff is great and Dr.Gray is for sure a heaven send for me. Last July I completely tore my achilles and damaged my calf, I was a little delayed in our meeting but his treatments have given me a great and speedy recovery. I’m in treatment with him again for another Achilles injury which I’m sure will go well.
I had an adjustment today with Dr Moody today. He is amazing! Such a thorough assessment. I had only ever been adjusted by twisting and cracking, but he has a totally different technique that was so much easier. His activator thingy is so quick and effective. He really helped me with my neck and I feel so much better.

I started going to Wallburg Animal Hospital at the beginning of this year, when I got two puppies (Flower and Eclipse). They have been great, our puppies have gone for care and for boarding. I would definitely recommend anyone to take their pets here!
The Best veterinarians I've ever had the honor and pleasure of meeting and knowing. I've taken my previous fur baby there for more than seven years, since adopting her at three months old. Dr. Geisler, vet tech, Zach, and all the team have ALWAYS been courteous, kind, compassionate, understanding and highly professional EVERY time. I trust them and love them so much that even when I moved from Winston Salem, NC to Charlotte, NC, I'd still make the trip (plan a whole day of it) just to make sure my pup was getting the best care with the familiar faces we've come to know and appreciate.
First home visit, and we are very pleased with her service. Dr Klatt is very professional and very caring towards our 35 lbs cat. Straights to the point on what we need to do to prolong our cat baby's life. Going to the vet visit, it was more like going to the war for us since our cat dislikes to be inside a car and inside the carrier. Dr Klatt is a great solution and highly recommended!

Update October 2024: Oakes is still the best place in town for veterinary care from my experience all these years later. They helped us through two years of treating diabetes in an senior cat very compassionately and are now helping us deal with another senior cat as he deals with constant upkeep shots.
They're often very very busy, please be patient they're dealing with lots of other passionate pet parents.
TLDR: This vet is amazing, it is the number one place I trust with the health and well-being of my cats. I believe you should bring your pets here.
Since I live across the street from this shopping plaza I was ecstatic when my wife and I noticed the sign go up for a vet right here. We hadn’t had great experiences in the past with another vet nearby and hadn’t found an alternative in a couple of years, so this was perfect. One of our cats had some dental issues that the old vet had noticed, but the price at that vet was clown-shoes crazy so we were never able to get him taken care of the way we wanted.
At Oakes the initial visit, the dental work that included multiple extractions, the medicine my little guy needs, and the follow up visit all came out to about half of what a similar procedure had cost at the old vet. I am so, so, so grateful Oakes has allowed me to take care of my cat the way I wanted to without breaking the bank.
On top of the very reasonable price is the added bonus of an amazing staff that really cares about the animals they are treating. From the person at the front desk the Doctor treating my cat, every single person we’ve dealt with at Oakes has shown compassion and competency.
Also, the interior of the office is immaculately done. Between the calming setting of the lobby and the awesome exam rooms with large windows, the atmosphere kept my cat the calmest I’ve ever seen at a vet.

I absolutely love Ard-Vista! They were always extremely careful with my yorkie who had terrible health issues and a collapsed trachea. They saw us through both of my previous girls' passings and were so respectful of them through the process. Dr. Morrison even sent us heartfelt, handwritten card about how special he could tell our little Piper was to us and how sorry he was for our loss. We now have 3 Maltese. Dr. Gessner is our regular vet and he is extremely patient with me and my 1,000 questions as a constantly anxious dog mom. He always takes great care of my dogs and is very careful during procedures. The entire staff is fantastic and Jessica up front is an angel. I can not say enough good things about them.

The most caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable team! When my normal vet of 18 yrs refused to see my dog because "she was too ill" and there was "nothing they could do for her", the staff at Midway Vet immediately agreed to at least examine my dog. Not only did they treat her and help her recover, they requested daily updates! Both Drs are outstanding along with the staff - from reception to vet techs.
Absolutely the best vet around. We've been going for a bit and love Dr Taylor-gotta saw we've passed the love on to Dr. Tamashiro! She was able to quickly pick up on our doggo's IVDD, previously diagnosed, and gave us a supportive plan. She's been nothing but insanely helpful, compassionate and caring with our pups, and the practice itself is always the best care. Everyone there is fantastic!
Took my neighbor's dog in for a nail trim. Super nice staff and very professional vet. If my vet is not available for some reason, I trust this vet.
This was my first time using Abri, as my regular vet was unable to get us in and I was very concerned about one of my foster kittens. I was frantically calling around trying to be fit in somewhere and the receptionist (Mackenzie I think) was so compassionate and was able to squeeze me in for a last minute, same day appointment. Not only that, but Dr. Reece was so knowledgeable and actually rescues cats herself so she understood my concerns. I will definitely be back!

The vet doc has always been pleasant, answers questions and makes comments as he is checking out my dog. He has always taken his time and doesn't seem bothered by our dog being a less than cooperative patient. The dog is upset just walking through the door and the staff are calm and tend to her needs. Our dog is muzzled for safety. She growls and is totally foolish while there.

My experiences have been extremely positive. I probably see someone 3 - 4 times per week.
I saw Ashley yesterday and gave her a list of all my problems. My wife finally talked me into going. She started to work on my most pressing one (HIP). Man what a massage. She is very knowledgeable about the human body. The room and the music she played in the background was very pleasant. Looking foward to seeing her next week.

I had my first lymphatic drainage massage with Jeanette yesterday and it was wonderful! My lymphadema symptoms have already started to improve. Jeanette was so kind and knowledgeable. She explained each step and gave great tips for management at home. I will definitely be back!
Very helpful and accommodating. I had a lymphatic massage after my mommy makeover that included Lipo 360, BBL, chin Lipo and breast lift with augmentation. I had it 24 hours prior to coming here for the massage and I’m so happy I came because I was stiff and hurting from all the fluid buildup. After the massage I was able to move around more freely without pain. I highly recommend if you get Lipo or any kind of surgery that you get lymphatic draining. He is very professional and well knowledged. The lymphatic draining is just as important as the surgery itself.
Excellent service by all employees I encountered- Emery at front desk and Paul the massage therapist. The place is very clean and not too overwhelming with fragrances/oils.
Paul was awesome. Spent just the right amount of time on each area and had me out of there more relaxed than I’ve been in a while. I’m definitely going back next month.
Todd is an excellent therapist. He pays attention to details. The facility is clean and inviting, as well as relaxing. I highly recommend Camel City Massage.
