“I wish I had found Dr. Bowers years ago! Her staff is just as caring as her. It is a rare gem of an office. My husband and I both went to her. The level of care is so much better than where I was going. I went in expecting to be told the same things as my current doctor, but also hoping there was something better....just maybe. I had glasses that I hated wearing. I thought it was just because they're glasses, but turned out they were not fitting correctly. She had her staff fix them that day and they were perfect. I had been incorrectly told that I could not wear soft contacts and that I must have RPG lenses. The RPG lenses hurt my eyes. Come to find out, they were just too tight! It is important to get the right fit. Not only that, but I didn't need them after all. Dr. Bowers worked with me to get soft lenses that DO work for me. I am so excited! My husband thought he was going in because he was needing glasses, but it was a much more serious issue. Dr. Bowers got us into a specialist immediately. My husband is already seeing great improvement. Thank goodness we went to Dr. Bowers when we did. We will never take our eyesight for granted again. We both give Dr. Bowers and staff 10 stars!!“

“Shoutout to Johnson Optometric Associates PA! I've never praised a medical office before but my experience with these folks has been over the top. I got an excellent exam and glasses there 3 years ago. I broke the frames a year ago and wandered in to replace them, and the kindly optician waved me over and gave me a new pair, no charge. It wasn't in warranty and he never even took my name; this is just how they roll. Recently both lens became too scratched to use safely, so I wandered in to replace them yesterday. They couldn't replace my glasses without an exam and scheduled me for the first available, in November. (They're very popular and always packed.) An hour later, they called with an opening that afternoon. The doctor from 3 years ago saw me, gave me a thorough exam with great manner and explanations. He handed me sample dry-eye formula and wrote a new prescription. The front desk staff found and billed vision insurance I didn't know I had, and the price was waaaay lower than I expected. I now have shiny new lenses in my trust old frames. Healthcare doesn't get better than this. Highly recommended for anyone needing eye care in Garner. I won't let anyone else care for my eyes.“
