I am in the best shape of my life; nutrition is dialed in; I have built amazing friendships, and I am doing things I never thought possible for myself (weighted pull-ups this week)! The coaching is stellar -- lots of attention to good form. Everyone in the gym is welcoming and encouraging. Whether you are dropping in for a day or looking for a place to build long-term fitness, Happy Streets is going to feel like home.“

Between the Precision Medicine and Nutrition offerings, they truly GAVE ME MY LIFE BACK. I have been provided exceptional care here and highly recommend Precision to anyone who wants to work with credible professionals who take a genuine interest in their clients. Thank you, Jen and Jamie, for all you do. My family and I are very grateful for you!“

She is so observant, always making sure I’m doing each exercise properly and getting the most from each exercise. She makes exercising fun. I’ve participated in many group classes but nothing compares to the routine at Housefit.
I also want to commend Tia. She helped me with a shoulder problem. I take her balance class. She is so attentive and always explains every exercise again and again. She never tires of helping everyone get the most from her class.
I cannot say enough good things about these two therapists.“

12878 Manchester Rd, St. Louis“Marc and team are some of the most knowledgeable personal trainers in the area. The walls are covered with testaments to PowerPlay’s successes in cultivating professional athletes, but they’re equally committed to helping average joes just looking to get into better shape. From old ladies to kids just at the beginning of their fitness journeys and everywhere in between, powerplay seems to provide the sort of welcoming, friendly, fun environment that can be rare in the world of personal training while still managing to push their clients to places they couldn’t get to on their own. At least that’s what they did for me.“

10042 Manchester Rd, St. Louis“I started going to St. Louis Strength because I don't just want to combat the loss of muscle that comes with age, I want to build it. I’m almost 3 months in and i definitely feel stronger. I realized I don’t push myself enough when lifting weights on my own. It’s been a surprise to me how effective Nathan’s work outs are in such a short time. You don’t have to figure out how much to lift or what to do next. He does it all for you so that it’s tailored to push you but not kill you, unless it’s the ropes. Those kill you. (Right, Nathan? Haha. JK.) Added bonus: Nathan’s a professional who’s just a really likable, nice guy and good human.“

10407 Clayton Rd, Frontenac“NutriFormance is one of personal favorite gyms in St. Louis. It offers a huge selection of cardio and strength equipment so you can work out on your own terms or you can take one of the many group fitness & specialty classes that run 7 days a week. The group fitness classes drew me to this gym - I find them to be quite challenging! I appreciate the community vibe felt at NutriFormance. I see a lot of the same faces every time I go and many of the gym-goers have worked out at NutriFormance for decades. Amy Strahan's Strong classes are my favorite. “Tom has helped me a few times over the years. His expertise is unmatched. He helped me get through an injury in preparation for an elite military program and helped me fix my back years later after I hurt it lifting my kids around.“
“I have been going to Bodywise 1-on 1 over the years. I highly recommend. Skip is the owner and one of the trainers. He offers a highly personalized plan fitted towards your goals and body type. He provides a comprehensive outline to achieve your goals. He is extremely knowledgeable in the area of fitness. He understands how hard it is to loose weight and provides great advise and motivation. There are various personal training packages to choose from. I also participate in spinn classes to get my cardio in. I love the flexibility of the personal training sessions because my work hours change. Personal training sessions are available Monday through Saturday as early as 5am. They offer spinn classes on Monday and Wednesday at 6:30pm. The classes are no joke, you will definitely achieve a great cardio workout with laughs and more within that hour.“

She has so much knowledge to share from movement to diet and she's going to keep it real with you, so if you're ready to make the changes necessary to live a healthier lifestyle, come meet DeNay, I promise you'll find everything you've been looking for in a trainer!“

5459 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis“This is a great place to get a good workout. I've been training at Club Fitness for over a year. They have plenty of equipment to help you meet your goals. Depending on your membership you can workout here 24/7. Meaning there is no excuse for not training if you are healthy to train. The only thing this location is missing is that you can get a protein shake, no day care, fitness classes as this is one of their smaller locations. I don't need daycare and I don't take advantage of the classes. They also don't have the steam room or sauna. I wish they offered this at this location as it is the closest location to me. I do frequent locations that has the other amenities.“

8741 Big Bend Blvd, St. Louis“Just turned 50 and I while I was strong (had been working out for years with weights and using fitness tapes), I started to be more sore, having difficulty bouncing back, etc. Suzy was recommended to me and I'm so glad she was. She helped me identify what I was doing "wrong", e.g., holding my body incorrectly, using weights incorrectly, stressing my knees unnecessarily, etc. Who knew? The stuff that doesn't bother you at 20 feels lousy at 50! She mixes Pliates with conventional weights to suit my needs, body type, and weak areas--like my knees. She even identified the source of much of my knee pain--knots in my legs above my knees. By rolling that area my knees are 75% better and I am going t the chiropractor far less. I know this sounds crazy but it's true. I am in far better shape now than in my 30's, not as sore, and I am far stronger than ever. I highly recommend her.“

7622 Wydown Blvd, St. Louis“This gym is for personal trainers and their clients only. You have to have an appointment with a trainer to use this gym. Everything in this gym is very clean, does not stink of body odor, the restrooms are clean, there are lockers and showers. Some people who come from work leave their tennis shoes there in a special area. I've been going consistently for 3 months and only about 3 out of 23 sessions has it been slightly crowded and even then the trainers are very considerate of each other and their clients. There are loads of machines, weights and floor work area. You can see this website for the trainers. I train with Titanium Fitness and highly recommend Diana Beckham or Chuck. See Titanium Fitness in Clayton, MO for their reviews and website.“

“I joined St. Louis City Fitness a couple of months ago, and I’m so incredibly impressed. The environment is inclusive and welcoming, and the gym has everything you need (personal training, HIIT, Pilates, etc.). Most gyms that I’ve previously tried have attempted to push me into goals that didn’t resonate with me (targeting a specific body fat percentage, etc.), but from the moment of my initial assessment, Justin has listened to me and helped me push toward my goals of improving physical and mental health and longevity. It’s a highly motivating yet non-intimidating environment. I feel I have finally found my health and wellness family here. I highly recommend to anyone to check it out!“
