“The Yoga Room is the first yoga studio I've joined, and I've felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable there. It has a charming neighborhood vibe that's unpretentious, with instructors who are genuinely welcoming and friendly.“
“This place is phenomenal! I can workout when I want. Great network, staff knowledge, etc. I am motivated to come! I have only been going for 46 days, but want to do more!!! Bring on summer body, and healthy!-Nicole A.“
“Yoga instructors are super kind and uplifting during class. The owner is always responsive and generous. It is always refreshing to take a yoga class here. They keep the temperature around 78 degrees during classes.“
“Best Yoga studio in the country hands down. All of the teachers here make sure that they teach the breathing/spiritual aspect of yoga like the ancient yogis meant for it to be taught. The majority of the teachers here play gorgeous music during Savāsana that takes it to the next level. If you get an opportunity to sit with Matt jump on it ASAP.“
“Michelle has a great space and is so gracious to host others events/classes. The area is welcoming and perfect for groups! Thank You!“
“As a long-term practitioner of Hot Yoga and new resident of Mpls, finding a great studio was critical to me. Mpls Yoga is one of the best studios I have ever been to. Every teacher is highly skilled and brings expertise and wisdom to each class. The warm, welcoming atmosphere is wonderful - as is the beautiful facility. I feel lucky every day I practice in this wonderful studio.“
“I started off coming with Classpass, but I ended up getting an unlimited membership because I wanted to come here like every day! Have also referred a friend as well! Love YogaFit!!“
“Experiencing Tammy's work has been life changing for the chronic headaches, neck and shoulder pains I have been experiencing for over 20 years. She has gotten me down from excruciating pain levels to hardly a noticeable dull ache during a one hour session many times during the past few years that I have occasionally went to her for bodywork sessions. I have seen her more regularly recently and it has been very helpful in keeping me out of pain &/ a lot less. If I would be more diligent with the simple exercises she's showed me I would probably be living a pain free life. Do not hesitate to see Tammy if you have any pain &/ spine or other issues She really cares and will go out of her way to help, make herself avail and get you out of pain!“
“Love this studio. Only 3 minutes from my house so I love that it's in the neighborhood, nice variety of classes and great instructors. I always feel comfortable and welcomed. Happy to have a membership here!“
“Carpe Diem is so incredible. Each teacher offers such a different perceptive on the practice of yoga. Whether that be breath, or posture, of movement, I just really appreciate the variety of ways to tap into my mind and body. I also have a membership for the sauna, cold plunge and red light therapy. It's always so clean and friendly. I love this studio“
“I participated in the Candlelight class and it was just want my body needed. It was focused on stretching and relaxation. The room was warm, so I still worked up a sweat without feeling like I was working out. It's located in a strip mall, so there is a ton of parking. They even have a locker room with showers should you need it. I had an enjoyable time and would certainly go back.“
“Amazing space with welcoming people. I loved the 5pm gentle practice. It was the right amount of movement, meditation, and rest. It’s tricky to find so give yourself a few extra minutes. But plenty of parking on the street.“
“Yess Yoga is the foundation of my feelings of home in Minneapolis -- I love teaching and practicing here. Lucia and this studio encourage you to be your whole self, always. I've walked in the doors with eyes full of tears and other days with belly-aching laughter. I've practiced yoga here in states of grief, joy, loneliness, and inspiration. In these gem-stone lined studio walls, I've grown as a teacher, a student, a friend, and learned what it means to be a part of an authentically loving and generous community. This studio shares movement practices that are responsive to the needs of Minneapolis residents and to the state of the world. We practice yoga and somatics for the purpose of embodying true connection, belonging, and body sovereignty, and for uplifting those essential elements of life everywhere we go.“
“I have attended classes here since fall of 2021 and I can say that all of the instructors that work here are positive, adaptable, and motivating human beings. I love dancing and sweating with everyone I meet. And yes, it is very open to dancers who are beginners and people who just want to move their body and feel good. There is a place for you ?“
“KC is a healer. I knew I could trust him right when I met him. I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for shiatsu“
“I cannot say enough positive things about the teachers and their collective experience and commitment to the practice. A true gem of the Twin Cities.“
“Dawn is one of the most AMAZING individuals I have ever known. This is the reason I took her yoga teacher training course. She is extremely knowledgeable and offers so much more than typical training. She is kind, flexible and patient, and takes the time to get to know you and what you need to learn the information. I loved the fact she brought in a “guest” speaker, to let us experience Thai Body work. She definitely goes outside of the box, and I really appreciate her humor and lightheartedness she gives to the class. Don’t hesitate if you are thinking about taking this course with Dawn, as I only wish I would of taken it sooner. You will be very well- rounded in Yoga and It’s philosophy. Truly was a pleasure and I loved the studio area as well. Very inviting. Namaste!“
“I heard about Open Minds years ago and was always interested. Finally, I went to a workshop, and I am a devotee. Koreen is a goddess with a gift for seeing and bringing out the authenticity in everyone. I left the workshop feeling encouraged, empowered, and enlightened.“
“I've done HIIT workouts for a number of years now and I've discovered the only real solution for my post-workout soreness is massage -- particularly ashiatsu massage. Since moving to the twin cities, I've been looking for an ashiatsu provider with no luck. Unfortunately, it's been so long since my last treatment that I've developed some back issues. Then last week I found Prajna Bodyworks.Today I had an appointment with Marne at Prajna. To call Marne an amazing ashiatsu provider would be an understatement. She immediately picked up on the spots that were the most in need of her attention. Throughout the massage she checked in with me re: how I was doing and made me feel at ease, even when things were painful. At the end of the session she recommended some stretches I can do at home that will help to ease the strain too.Needless to say I'll be returning for my second visit in few weeks!“
“I had my first Ashiatsu session with Marne at Prajna Bodyworks and what a wonderful experience! Marne applies deep compressive strokes with just the perfect pressure relieving the tension in my very tight muscles. I was immediately put into a deep state of relaxation. Marne is very professional with a superb personality. She was very accommodating by offering me a second massage, upon my request, on her scheduled day off. This was very much appreciated because I had to leave town the day after. I left my appointments with Marne with such positive energy! I can't wait to return to Prajna Bodyworks for another session of Ashiatsu. I highly recommend Ashiatsu and I highly recommend Prajna Bodyworks and I can't thank Marne enough!“
“Melissa is an incredible resource for parents to be, she is so genuinely warm and enthusiastic about her work! I would recommend her too anyone seeking out yoga “
“If you are looking for reasonably priced massage from someone who has years of experience and wasn't just trained for the job when hired? Wolf and the Raven Wellness is definitely a welcome alternative to the present day plague of strip mall massage chains. On numerous occasions I have gone to her for muscle impingements in my neck and shoulders, issues with my arms from muscle tightness post workout, or tightness in my legs. She also is a licensed Yoga instructor. Instead of going to another run of the mill class that runs through the atypical rounds of Downward Dog and Warrior Pose, she provides new routines weekly; also Mother and Baby/Toddler class. Prior to being a customer I had lost some flexion in my legs and lower back, but through repeated sessions with Becky, I was able to stretch like I was in my early 20's again. Finally, If you're looking for something a little less ordinary, she also is a practitioner of Thai Yoga and Reiki. Wolf and the Raven Wellness can provide for you a stress relieving alternative to the usual ways you unwind, with an affordability you'll be hard pressed to beat.“
“Just joined looks like a nice place. Brenden at the desk was very helpful. We will see how it goes!“
