“The yoga instructors are well educated and passionate about the traditional yogic approach with a modern spin. I like the classes that are more mindfully focused (typically I practice under Kelsey and Brian), that being said I'm always shown beginner, intermediate and experienced variations of postures so I can customize my experience. The space is welcoming and the instructors push you to learn and experience yoga in a safe and secure environment. I always recommend Red Lotus to new and experienced people practicing yoga. ?♀️“
“Best hot yoga studio I ve been in, instructor explains the process and benefits while practicing!“
“I always look forward to coming to Simplicity Healing for a massage. I absolutely love the cozy atmosphere & the massage therapists are always wonderful! I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a massage.“
“Hippie Yoga Studio offers a peace for mind, body, and spirit. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance transports you to a place of peace and tranquility. The instructors are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive, guiding you through each pose with gentle encouragement.“
“I have worked with Rebecca, Nichole and Naomi and cannot say enough good things about them and their skills at making me feel terrific after they work magic. They have a wide array of techniques and skills for all of my ailments and are careful and considerate of my limitations including full lumbar fusion and laxity in shoulder joints. I am a physical therapist myself and will not let just anyone work on me. The lymphatic work I've had has worked wonders on my peripheral nerve pain and has given me information to bring back to my doctors.
They are professional and the place is very clean.
I have recommended patients and family get treatments from them and they have all had great reviews. Again, I am as picky as they come when it comes to body work.
Another thing I love is that they have great recommendations for what is needed for my particular issues yet are not like other places and do not constantly talk about booking future sessions during treatments. They are not salesmen. I have been to other places that do not stop trying to sell me while I am on the table. They focus on the task at hand and I leave feeling great and cared for. Their professionalism, skills and approachability keep me coming back.
I highly recommend this clinic. If you are unsure what treatment is best for you just ask.
I am lucky to have found them.“
“Dr. Brieden and her staff are wonderful. I started going after experiencing hip pain and clicking in my jaw. Certainly didn’t know how much it was affecting my sleep. Since I began, I have less clicking already, and have been sleeping so well after only a few weeks. Grateful for her sessions and would 100% recommend.“
“I started with the 10 day for $10 beginners package and tried a variety of classes, then I signed back in for another month. I'm an older woman and a true beginner - zero flexibility and terrible balance. In just 2 weeks my balance began to improve. The flexibility is going to take a little longer but I know it will come. I enjoy the peacefulness of yoga and the participants are really nice, non-judgmental and very supportive. In the studio, there are no expectations. The level you are at is the level you are at. I like that I can progress at my own rate and am not intimidated. So far, the only instructor I've had is Patty. She's great and makes very gentle corrections. If you're thinking about yoga but worried about being intimidated by a room full of perfect people doing perfect poses - try the beginning classes at Strongheart - whatever level you are at is acceptable and you won't be disappointed.“
“I have nothing but positive things to say about this yoga studio! I tried the restorative yoga class and absolutely loved it. I was nervous to try it since it was my first time and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I left feeling centered, grounded, and ready to take on life. I’ve experienced a lot of trauma this past year and really felt like this class helped me feel more comfortable and at peace with myself. I look forward to coming to more classes in the future and am so happy I found something I feel like I belong at!“
“I had great help with my frozen shoulder here. I knew I had to get some good help and the PT there sad they knew what to do. They were right“
“People of any ability level will enjoy the class. Jessica is aware and responsive in guiding the exercises. For each move, she provides a harder and easier way to achieve the goal of the exercise. The environment is relaxed, and people are friendly. Big fan, love this place!“
“Welcoming community for all skill levels with a great variety & wonderful instructors. Have been happy with every class I have attended!!! My favorite class is the Somatic Yoga one on Tuesdays!!!!“
“I’ve been practicing here for almost 12 years (on and off due to moving and life) and no place is cleaner, kinder, and more inviting than Thrive. Every single instructor is so incredibly patient and the atmosphere is always relaxing and invigorating at the same time. I recommend them to everyone and look forward to many more years of practice at Thrive!“
“This is the best yoga studio around. Very welcoming. Extremely knowledgeable teachers. Their focus and wisdom on anatomy is top notch. So glad I found Explore Yoga!“
“I highly recommend the Center for Iyengar Yoga for all who have an interest in connecting body, mind and breath to serve your well-being. Under the instruction of the Center Director, Christopher Briney, everyone can learn to make these vital connections within. No matter your age, perceived physical limitations, Chris will work with you and meet you where you are on your yoga journey. Whether you are a beginner, new to the Iyengar method or advanced and looking to deepen your practice, this is the studio for you. The sessions are like semesters which are great for development of your practice. Drop-in classes are also available for those wanting to give it a try. There is much value in having a teacher who is also a continuing student. The Center Director continues to take classes from Prashant Iyengar and the value is passed on to those fortunate enough to study at The Center for Iyengar Yoga Royal Oak. Classes are also available online. In person classes offer the additional benefit of all necessary equipment being provided including mats. The studio is beautiful and clean. The teaching includes philosophy of yoga and personalized attention to detail as the Director takes the time to get to know you and any physical limitations that may require alternative pose options. Classes at The Center for Iyengar Yoga Royal Oak have a positive health impact that goes beyond the physical.“
“I recently attended a hot yoga class led by Jake at the Rochester studio, and it was a wonderful experience! Jake's guidance was both calming and motivating, the session was enjoyable and challenging at the same time. He offered space for variation and was encouraging. The studio itself had a welcoming atmosphere and the woman at the front desk was attentive and kind. I left feeling refreshed and excited to return for more sessions. Highly recommend giving Jake's class a try for anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice“
“Lots of variety, friendly staff, and convenient location ( we'll see how that new hotel affects us)“
“Back in September, I came to one of the dinners to show support for a family member, and yet, during the presentation I found myself raising my hand to some of Nicole's questions, nodding, and even tearing up. I knew that this journey here at the WTI was one I needed to explore, because that day, for the first time in a while, I ended up feeling as if there was a "glimmer of hope".... for myself. Before joining the program I experienced a lot of "crumby" feelings: from frequent headaches & migraines, debilitating tension, bouts of unexplained anxiety, to irritable bowel flare-ups. I felt as if there were more bad days than good. I was miserable. Looking back I realize that I wasn't living life to the fullest. I dreaded making plans with anyone because I never knew how I was going to feel. There were so many times that I'd be excited about something but then I would have to cancel because my body was hurting in some way or another. It's understandable that over time, with this type of pattern, the invitations eventually stopped coming.I'm learning and have learned so much from the WTI team. I'm a visual and hands-on learner so the cooking demos, the handouts, and yoga classes have all been very helpful. This is one of the reasons I'm confident that I'll be able to continue with my healthier-me journey because the information presented; the "whys", the "whats", and the "hows" are all laid out nicely and make sense.Through the guidance and support of my WTI team, I've been able to stop relying on prescription medications, ("oral Band-Aids") and can proudly say that it has been a little over 7 months since needing refills on any of them, including the beta-blocker! I have built a healthier relationship with food and have even identified a few that cause sensitivities. I've finally kicked the unhealthy relationship that I formed with caffeine; I used to drink 2-3 energy drinks and at least a couple of cups of coffee with copious amounts of flavored creamer, daily. I don’t need it and realize that there are so many better choices out there.Since joining & completing the program: I've also lost about 16 pounds, am much more hydrated, my skin looks brighter, and all around I'm starting to feel better. I've started venturing out, planning engagements and committing to plans again. I've found a new love and appreciation for yoga, as well as deep breathing. I know that I'm a work in progress and that this is something I'm mindfully going to need to stick with, but that doesn't scare me. What scares me (or scared me) was the thought of forever feeling the way that I did before.Today I feel hopeful, unstuck. I feel as if I'm starting to take back my life, I'm starting to actually live it.Thank you all for the knowledge, courage & support you've given me throughout these last few months. I will forever be grateful.“
“All of the staff at East Street is knowledgeable, professional and personable. Cara and Gretchen provide intense, but fun sessions that will leave you feeling accomplished with a rush of endorphins. A+, 5 stars!“
“Very relaxing experience! Lana was very professional and made sure I was doing good throughout the whole massage being that I am 30 weeks pregnant! Highly recommend!“
“Love this place! My husband and I can't get enough of the sauna workouts and the sweat. Always clean and friendly staff.“
“I’ve been going to life yoga for about 3 months now. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly from the moment I walk in. The classes are challenging and the instructors push and encourage you in every way possible. My favorite part about coming to this studio is that almost every class I’ve been to, they teach, step by step, a new position or the correct way to do a position I didn’t realize I was doing incorrect. I also appreciate that the instructors walk around the room and gently correct my poses when they see them being done incorrectly. I feel it’s so important to get the most out of each pose, to not injure myself, but also have fun with learning more. Watching myself or other students do an advanced pose for the first time because the instructor simplified how it’s supposed to be done is so exciting and gratifying. I appreciate that they do that because most studios don’t. Before I came there I was at a studio that I didn’t feel was challenging me or I wasn’t learning how to further my practice and knowledge. At life yoga, I get that every time I go. I’ve been going 3 days a week and I already feel stronger, more knowledgeable and excited each time I go. People ask how I stay motivated to work out when I have 3 small kids and work full time. I tell them the people and practices at life yoga make it feel like I’m taking a break from my busy life, not just doing a boring, repetitive workout. We laugh, play, dance and sometimes sing all while sweating and flowing. Thank you life yoga for giving me that much needed escape.“
“Citizen Yoga and its staff are excellent! The studio has a great atmosphere, and I’ve really enjoyed all of the classes I’ve taken there. I’ve attended classes with live music and practices other than yoga which were all great, but my routine class is Melissa Wagasy’s Sunday morning Blend. This wonderful class eases into a flow that builds heat, followed by a slow down. Melissa has built a variety of playlists that are a perfect companion to the pace of the class. I find myself looking forward to those challenging, yet rewarding 75 minutes all week long. I really enjoy her as an instructor and plan to continue to take her classes as I develop my practice.“
“Great staff! Great service! Dr Keith has helped improve my back and neck pain tremendously!“
