“Brian Ayd did a great job of explaining multiple options to replace our AC/Propane combo unit system for our large Sunroom. This was not a simple project since the old unit was tucked away in the crawl space above the sun room attic where it intersects the main house. The Pipco team came with 5 technicians and truly swarmed the project. They were very professional and tidy with their approach of dismantling the old unit and installing the new system, and did an excellent job. A friendly group of guys and they finished on time. “Josh and the other associate (wish I remembered his name) were awesome. We thought we had a duct leak. The guys found out that the plumber actually missed a leak and they shut off the valve causing the leak that was saturating our ductwork underneath it with water. Then they gave me a pretty comprehensive idea of what I needed to be thinking about in the short and medium term with our HVAC unit. Honest, immensely helpful - will definitely be using this company in the future for our HVAC needs!“

“Update 9/13: We received a call from a manager at Clarksville Heating, who took our concerns in the original review very seriously. The following week a new technician visited and actually troubleshooted the problem. Without going into too much detail, the issue we are having can be very time consuming and challenging to get to the bottom.of, so even after he was done we aren't 100% sure it is fixed. However, we are pleased that he tried to address the underlying problem (instead of just applying a band aid like last time) and he identified and fixed some issues that were very likely at the root of the problem. So far, our heat pump is still working, but he also said we could call him back should we have further issues with it, so that he could troibleshoot more. We appreciate the timely follow up service and that Clarksville heard our concerns.

In short, we do not recommend Clarksville Heating due to the poor service a technician provided by (1) arriving 1.5 hours outside the service window, and (2) failing to take the time to diagnose the root cause of an issue with our heat pump, which periodically failed.

We called Clarksville Heating to help us address a recurring problem related to our heat pump. The heat pump stopped working three times within the span of a few months and kept blowing a fuse in the air handler. We were hoping that Clarksville Heating would be able to identify the root cause of the issue and diagnose the reason for the heat pump’s failure.

The Clarksville Heating technician arrived 1.5 hours after the arrival window and Clarksville Heating did not contact us first to provide an ETA. After patiently waiting, we had to call them to receive an updated ETA.

After the technician arrived, we explained the history of the heat pump's failure and that we were looking for a root cause of the heat pump failure. After doing his work, the technician said that he could not find a short. He charged $400 for the appointment, which included replacing the blown fuse. The fuse then blew again four hours later.

He did not take the time to diagnose the underlying cause of the blown fuse, which is the entire purpose of the call, and something that any HVAC professional should do.

We do not recommend Clarksville Heating unless or until they can provide a technician who will take the time to adequately identify the root cause of the issue.

I contacted Duct Doctor and they sent a team to inspect the drier vent as well. Because the vent was very clogged, they agreed to clean it again; they felt that the previous cleaning was not completed properly. As a result there was no charge. “We have been customers of No-Frost since 1990.
Of course our "AC" stop working on one of the hottest weeks in July. I contacted Eileen @ No-Frost she had someone out immediately and diagnosed the coil as the broken part. She ordered the part and when it arrived and unboxed it was noticed that the coil had been damaged from the factory. Needless to say we were going nuts, especially with a new born in the house.
Eileen & Chad made numerous calls for us and were able to get us a new unit at a reduce cost.
We could not go another day in this heat and wait for parts again. They understood our concers and went out of their way to get us up & running the same day. We were kept updated every step of the process. They are just fantastic to work with. It was like Christmas when that air came on.
