After reading the positive reviews, we contacted 1st Aid to repair our dryer. We called 2 other companies we've used in the past and they couldn't fit us in for days. We took a chance on 1st Aid Appliance and we"re grateful. They sent Freddie out the same day (it was a Friday). We needed a new dryer coil. They ordered the part and called us promptly on Sunday to install on Monday. The tech arrived on time and installed the coil. Later that afternoon, our vent hose detached but they came back the same day (5pm) and attached a new O-ring so the hose wouldn't budge. It's been 2 weeks and all is well. We're so glad we used them. After searching through reviews of local small appliance repair companies we landed on First Aid Appliances Repair. To start, I was so appreciative of how quickly Raphael got back to me. His fee was pretty straightforward: the nominal service fee goes towards the repairs! In the end we were charged $230 to fix our dishwasher; move, disconnect, reconnect, and move back our stackable washer dryer. I feel very good about that price. He was able to come in two business days, for my non-emergency repairs, and he was very thorough and professional. Rafael was great. Our refrigerator stopped working on a Friday and everywhere I called would not respond or were not available till the following week. Rafael called me right away and said he would stop by that evening. His service call was less than other companies. He arrived punctual and had our refrigerator working soon. He was very honest and hardworking. I would not hesitate to use him again.
