“I want to thank Strickland Funeral home for being a Godsend during the planning of my brother's cremation. We reached out to them
in the middle of the night when we had a 2 hour window to get my brother from the rehab center he passed in. They picked him up and contacted us the following morning extending condolences and scheduling the appointment for arrangements. Mr Strickland and his staff were very courteous and professional. The thing that stood out to me more so than anything else was the fact that my options were explained to me thoroughly. I also loved the fact that at no time was I ever guilted into going above my budget. Thank you Strickland Family for making a sad experience tolerable.“

“Sydney Watts was very compassionate and attentive. My brother was shot multiple times so there we were, clueless and as first timers making arrangements. Me and my family chose this funeral home for my brother since it was close by back in 2022. I just couldn't pull myself together when we had to choose the casket and discuss other arrangements but Sydney made me and my family feel important. We didn't feel like another number. Sydney Watts was very patient. She gave me water to calm my nerves and told me everything would be alright. I had a mental breakdown when shopping for clothes for my brother and on day of viewing, I will never forget, they had a belt on him. I don't know if they already had one or got one really quick but it didn't occur to me to get the smaller accessories. That marked me for life in a positive way. This funeral home does care for the dignity of the deceased. Sydney Watts stayed with us until burial which I appreciated so much. She felt like a sister for a moment. “My parents passed within two weeks of each other. Demaine was the most respectful, nicest organization to deal with. There was never any sort of “selling” going on, just helping us understand what our options were. All the staff were patient, compassionate, and made things easy for us, and the facility was always set up flawlessly for our wakes and services. The memorial displays they set up for us with personal items we supplied were not something we had considered, but once we saw them we were amazed at how lovely and comforting they were.
