“If I could give Dr. Shannen Allen one million stars I would. She quite literally saved my daughters life. My daughter went to see Dr. Allen to get her eyes checked before heading back to college, as she felt her vision had worsened over the school year. In the span of a 30 minute appointment, Dr. Allen recognized that there was something more at play and referred my daughter to a neurologist, as Dr. Allen believed, there was a growth behind my daughter's eye. Dr. Allen was correct, a tumor the size of a pea was found behind my daughters eye. Additionally, another handful of problems were found that could have gone undetected for years if it were not for Dr. Allen's referral. Full disclosure, Dr. Allen is also my doctor, it is why I sent my daughter, because I have found her to be professional, informative, friendly, and funny. I found frame menders online and received a quick reasonable quote w/mail in instructions. Glasses returned fixed within days: break is undetected = much appreciation for this business.“

We go to Optician Jamie Firouzi at Montgomery Village Eye Center to get his glasses. I scheduled back-to-back eye exams for my daughter and I on a Saturday early-afternoon, so it was quieter than what I’m used to seeing.Dr. Tan Duong was absolutely fantastic. He explained everything very well, was super patient with my daughter during her exam, and came out on the floor to give us a lot of great input about my daughter’s current pair of glasses and with picking out the best fitting frames for her.Katherine provided excellent customer service.
