“The doctor I saw, Gregory Lawrence, was patient with my questions and conducted a thorough exam. He could have sold me glasses. But instead he said I could use standard reading glasses.As impressive were the administrative staff. They called in advance of my appointment to tell me my insurance wouldn't cover the exam. Taking that extra step meant I could resolve a problem with my insurance coverage before my appointment.Everyone is kind, attentive, and patient. The environment is comfortable. Be mindful -- if you cannot walk stairs, you will need to go elsewhere. The exam rooms are up a flight of stairs.“
“Great old school opticians who know what they are doing. Not like Lens Crafters who use sales bozos to do the work an optician should be doing. The cost for me is not too much different from chain stores, as I have a complex prescription. I am happy to spend a bit more to get the correct fitting for progressives. My current glasses are the thinnest lenses I have had in a long time despite my high index prescription. They use Hoya lenses which are superior to the ones I have gotten from LC. Marie has been very personable and professional and always gets me a great pair of glasses. They usually have a sale going on ( buy 1 get 50% second pair). Great if you get glasses and sunglasses together.“
