“I was looking for a new boarding facility for our two fur babies and after reading the reviews and speaking with Happy Cat, we decided to board our two young cats for a week and a half. I am always super anxious when we have to board our cats, but Happy Cat did such an amazing job that I didn't have to worry at all. When we dropped our cats off, they let us take them back to their room and get them settled. The staff did not rush us and allowed us time to make sure our cats felt comfortable before we left. Each room has its own theme with ample hiding cubbies, beds, toys, climbing wall shelves and plenty of windows. You can tell that Happy Cat Hotel carefully designed the rooms to allow the cats to be comfortable and to have an enriching stay.<br><br>During their stay, we received daily updates with photos of their adventures. We also opted to add the webcam, so we were able to check in on them. We got to watch the staff interact with our cats and they were always so kind and gentle - each staff member took amazing care of our babies.<br><br>If you are looking for a place, we highly recommend this place and have already booked a week stay in November for Thanksgiving. Thank you so much Happy Cat for taking such amazing care of our babies while we were away - we are forever grateful for you.<br><br>P.S. some of your staff members could become cat photographers. “Long overdue post. Outstanding Care for Senior Pets! We moved to the area in 2021 and have been bringing our Min Pins, Tigger and JJ, to Southern Oasis ever since. The care they've received has always been top-notch. As JJ aged and his health declined, the staff went above and beyond to give him the extra attention and TLC he needed. Their dedication to senior pets is phenomenal. Sadly, JJ crossed the rainbow bridge this year, but Tigger continues to enjoy his stays at Southern Oasis. I know Tigger is in good hands whenever I drop him off. The staff understands his needs as he enters his senior years, and they always greet him with excitement. He's spoiled rotten during every stay, and it gives me such peace of mind. Tigger has also stayed at their Clinton location in the Small Dog House and has done just as well there. Both the Waldorf and Clinton locations truly go the extra mile to keep Tigger happy and healthy. She taught us the skills and tools to help work with Chloe and we have seen tremendous progress! Additionally, Off Collar is our go-to for pet sitting services. Chloe absolutely adores Katherine who does a great job of making sure our pup is cared for when we are out of town. “We took our very reactive dog, Toast, to both private lessons and two classes. We were recommended to take him to the dogs with big feelings class. It helped Toast be less reactive to other dogs. In 6 months he went from running at any dog that he saw to calmly being an example dog in his intro class, Good Dog 101 with Paul.<br><br>He used to bark for attention and throw temper tantrums to the point we couldn't even talk for 5 minutes. Sandy, who was extremely knowledgeable, worked with us to gently correct his behavior to a truly great dog.“

“Doggy day - absolutely amazing. The staff and the dogs are just amazing. The staff are so engaged with all the dogs. They are so engaged and observe when things seem off with the pups.We are working with Tim (dog trainer) to help my pup and it’s so great because he does it during daycare, after hours and weekends and even comes to our home.Boarding - oh my heart. The citrates little bed and biscuits ever! Plenty of exercise, lots of play and was even able to get him fully groomed.I can’t say enough about the positive experience we have had with this place!“

“Jules is great! She always finds a way to squeeze an appointment in for me at the last minute. My rescue- comes out smelling wonderful, looks clean and the added bandana they put on my her- was the icing on the cake. She got a bath -it included a nail trim, drying, shampoo, brushing, a spritz of breath freshener after teeth brushing and an ear cleaning. I recommend Sonny's if you're in the Rosehill area of Alexandria and are looking for a dog/pet groomer- don't forget to Tip?“

“They have been great with my dog. I also love that they have everything on site including doggie daycare, doggie hotel, grooming and a vet clinic connected to the store. We are also taking the training classes and the instructor is wonderful!“
