I adopted a golden doodle and she was a hot mess when I picked her up with matted fur and smelled like a barn. I was desperate for her to get some TLC and a good grooming. Dennis the manager was so kind and even though they were booked he so empathetic and listened to me. He spoke to their groomer Valerie and she was amazing. She stayed overtime to care for my dog and help us out! She did an amazing job with the cut and I feel so lucky to have found Hometown and their entire team. I even have people ask me where I get her groomed because Valerie did such a great job. We are sincerely grateful to Valeria for her impeccable and loving grooming services performed on our beloved dog Babe. We have taken Babe to Valeria for services since 2017. On July 4, 2023, we bid farewell to Babe, our adorable and loving Havanese dog. She lived a long and happy life just shy of 20 years. Losing a beloved pet is one of the most heartbreaking experiences a family can go through. My dog got a great haircut. Rachel asked lots of questions to make sure she understood what we wanted, and she took way less time than our usual groomer, so my dog wasn't as stressed at pickup. My one qualm is that I wasn't told ahead of time when booking that there's a charge for paying with a credit card. I wish I'd have known - I'd have brought cash.
