In the end I chose to do the long term option and am very glad I did. My under sink looks cleaner and more organized than ever and I am happy not to have any galvanized pipes anymore. He showed me a picture of the work done in the crawl space and of the inside of galvanized pipe he replaced which was VERY nasty. “AC went out during the heatwave, told me what it would cost to fix but highly recommended a new unit (the price to temp fix a 20 year unit was crazy in comparison to just getting a new unit). Had a salesperson out same day, looked at what I had and what was needed, and gave me a few options. All reasonably and competitively priced. Biggest + is that it was a no pressure purchase. Gave me a few days to think about it and talk it over, answered any questions and even offered some alternative solutions. Turnaround time was about a work week.

Installation was a 1 day, painless process and the unit looks great!

“After someone else snaked my line and told me it all needed to be replaced, Higgins came out for a second estimate, was able to get their camera past where the first company did, and then was able to actually properly clear all of the roots from the line. The first company only cleared maybe an inch wide gap of roots, so it would very quickly clog again, whereas Higgins used a variety of tools to clean the entire width of the pipe.

They even sent me YouTube links to the video afterwards so I could see the difference. Total professionals.“

“UPDATE! Since the incident the manager from MVP Aaron did reach out to me to make the situation right. He was very friendly and accommodating. They sent out another technician Isaac, who was friendly, knowledgeable and reset my toilet as well as performed the camera diagnostic service. I'm very pleased with the outcome and they did make the situation right. I would feel comfortable using them again in the future Horrible service and unreliable. I called them to come out and unclog my basement drain. The technician they sent in my opinion wasnt experience and basically got nothing accomplished. He couldn't get the drain unclogg and then took up my basement toilet to try it that way which didn't work either. I was then told that they would send out another technician the next day with a camera to see where the blockage was. I literally took off work to wait for the technician. Needless to say no technician ever showed up. I called them several times to inquire about the technician ETA, just to be lied to 3 different times saying he was coming, he was finishing up his job and I was next. Short of it is, it's 3 days later and no technician has showed nor have they reached out to me. I finally had to pay another plumber to come out and unclog the drain. I paid MVP for service that wasn't performed and my toilet is still pulled up. Thanks for the inconvenience. I will not be using them moving forward and I will be cancelling my monthly subscription.“
