I highly recommend working with Wenz, who has a great understanding of how to train dogs at all ages with a loving, caring and gentle attitude. She has a lot of great tricks for barking and leash pulling. She helped us come up with alternatives whenever our pup was being stubborn or biting the leash in public places. As the dog parents, we also learned so much and we developed a stronger relationship with our pup. The best part was learning how to properly leash walk our puppy as well as how she should greet visitors. It’s so easy to walk our pup now around the neighborhood and she’s a lot calmer when we have friends over. We would definitely do it all over again.“

401 N Oakley Blvd, Chicago“I have to say this place has been the best find in the city for my Cane Corso. She is a big girl and because of her breed/size I stay away from dog parks as people get nervous with smaller dogs. Sean (owner) had no hesitation taking her on and is so flexible with pick up/drop off times. I utilize this space as exercise for her to stay in shape as well as socialize with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Prices are very affordable and their responsiveness is top notch. Might sound silly but I live for their photo updates. They take professional photos outside throughout the day and post them on instagram during your pups stay or send them to you directly if you request. Nothing like seeing your dogs having the time of their lives.“

1458 N Western Ave, Chicago“We sent our dog Rocky to Western Wag for a little over two years, before moving out of the city. Our dog loved going there and would get excited at dropoff! We miss being a part of the community so much. Rocky would come home exhausted and we could tell from the pictures on instagram that he had a great day. Would recommend it to anyone who is lucky enough to send their dog there.“

Not only did she learn new skills, but her ability to listen and focus greatly improved. Kim's methods focusing on clear commands are what every dog need to succeed!“

Western and Augusta, Chicago“Adam was referred to me by a friend. Right off the bat, after our initial meet and greet, we thought our dog was gonna be in good hands. Little did we know how much good Adam would be for our guy! Phife Dog loves him so much, is responsive and happy every time. Adam works on little things too, we just want the best for guy! Like sit, wait. Don't pull. But he gets a workout too! Always knocks out after his walk. #satisfiedcustomer Was able to use him for overnight stay too. Hands down respectful, communicative, piece of mind.“
“I had a hard time finding the right hotel for my 15-month-old American bully, I didn't feel I can trust anyone with my dog, he was never left with anyone before, he is full of energy and he's not neutered. After Contacting Magdalena we set up Playdates so she can meet my baby doggie. She fell in love with my Dragon! After leaving Dragon I cannot explain how happy, peaceful and comfortable I was leaving my Dragon with Dzika dog academy I was receiving daily updates and pictures, which made me feel comfortable! Magdalena is awesome guys! She is full off energy, she loves animals and she is the only one who I trust with my dog now!!! If I could give her million stars I would, trust me she deserved!!!!“

2311 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago“House of Paws is amazing. My rescue pup has severe separation anxiety so he needs to go to daycare a few days a week when I need to be in the office. I’m extremely particular about who I leave him with, so finding House of Paws has been a life changer. Liz and Josh are great people who truly care about your pet. When my pup first started going to daycare, he was very nervous and had to be coaxed inside, but now he runs and pulls me towards their front door with excitement. Truly a game changer.“

They did a wonderful job of assessing my dog’s vet records and getting her what she needed, as well as making her as comfortable as possible during the whole visit. I would 10/10 recommend this practice to anyone. ?“

4108 N Rockwell St, Chicago“We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Found Chicago! Our dog Sammy is severely anxious, and struggled with his confidence on walks, meeting strangers, and encountering other dogs. The fantastic team at Found truly guided Sammy with dedicated care, structure and LOTS of love - the daily updates brought us immense comfort and it was wonderful to watch his progress and growth. Found also specializes in training dog owners alongside their pets to ensure long-term success. We brought Sammy home feeling confident in our ability to maintain Sammy’s training because Justin, Julianna and Mariah (and countless others at Found!) prepared us and equipped us with the tools to succeed. This has been a transformational journey and we can’t wait to see Sammy continue to shine as the happy, confident boy he’s becoming!“

2975 Milwaukee Ave, Northbrook“I used to work as a receptionist for a dog daycare, so I've had to talk to different vets all the time all over Chicago. Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable“

850 S Riverside Dr, Elmhurst“We have been taking our Huskies to Elmhurst Animal Care Center for years, and they always receive excellent care. From the front desk staff, to the techs, down to the veterinarians. We have taken them here for check ups/follow up cares, boarding, and training. Whenever we go on vacation, our dogs stay here for boarding. We can tell they’re having the best time from the pictures we receive from the boarding staff. It’s like our dogs are on their own vacation!
Dr Cudiamat is our go-to vet. He is professional, very kind, and very reassuring. He really cares for our dogs. Not to mention very patient, because our dogs tend to be very “hyper” and anxious in public. He answers all our questions and concerns.
We can’t say enough good things about him and the staff, especially when it came to the most difficult time of our lives when we had to say goodbye to our old man husky. The staff was very considerate. Dr Cudiamat did an amazing job at informing us of the “process.” We felt that they were all there for us during this time. And they even sent us a sympathy card showing their condolences. Which we appreciated.
So, thank you Elmhurst Animal Care Center!
Also, take your dogs to train with Derrick! He’s awesome!! You’ll definitely thank him and yourself for doing it. lol.“
“My wife and I have been coming to Companion Animal Hospital of Norridge for years. Christie and Dr. Anderson are always kind with our dogs.“
