“Hasani is more than your average dog trainer. He has an expert-level understanding of canine behavioral shaping and modification strategies. Virgil, our 11-month-old Doberman Pinscher, completed the 3 week board and train program. He was already a good boy, but still had some annoying puppy behaviors and needed more obedience in general, as he could be quite willful at times.When Virgil returned from the board and train, his behavior was vastly improved, and many of his annoying behaviors were virtually eliminated. He also acquired many new skills and commands that make it easier to manage him in any situation, and help him to better regulate fears and anxieties so that he is a more calm and confident dog.Hasani took a lot of time to really educate on how to interact with Virgil for the best results. I learned a lot about proper leash-handling, behavioral redirection, and productive play that I never would have considered, and haven’t heard from any other trainer or class. This continues into the generous follow-up sessions that he provides.We wanted Virgil to be the sort of dog that can be taken to public spaces, social gatherings, and on trips. Hasani certainly delivered on this. I would say that the program works for more than just dogs with problem behaviors, and is a great investment in providing the best quality of life for you and your dog. Hasani is patient, knowledgeable, and clearly brings a high level of integrity into his work.“

“I have to say this place has been the best find in the city for my Cane Corso. She is a big girl and because of her breed/size I stay away from dog parks as people get nervous with smaller dogs. Sean (owner) had no hesitation taking her on and is so flexible with pick up/drop off times. I utilize this space as exercise for her to stay in shape as well as socialize with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Prices are very affordable and their responsiveness is top notch. Might sound silly but I live for their photo updates. They take professional photos outside throughout the day and post them on instagram during your pups stay or send them to you directly if you request. Nothing like seeing your dogs having the time of their lives.“
“Kim and Team were absolutely wonderful. We completed Basic Obedience and Continuing Basic Obedience with our 1.5 yr old husky puppy, who is a lot . . . even for a husky. Not only did she learn new skills, but her ability to listen and focus greatly improved. Kim's methods focusing on clear commands are what every dog need to succeed!“
“Took my Aussie Shepherd Margot there for the "Puppy Head Start" class. It was a great opportunity to socialize Margot with other dogs her age - as well as other people. She learned some basic skills - and I learned the concept of positive reinforcement training and how to use it with her.. The instructors - Nancy and Emma - were terrific. Have already signed up for the next level class and looking forward to it.“
“Molly and her staff are incredibly caring and helpful. I had to board a friend's dog when she went into the hospital. Molly picked up Pepper, an elderly dog with limited eyesight, and immediately showed the care she would receive on a daily basis. When we learned that my friend would never be able to go home again, a staff member of Molly's decided to adopt sweet Pepper, and now Pepper has a wonderful forever home. I can't imagine this incredible personal care being shown by everyone, and I can't thank Western Wag and its staff enough.“
“Downtown Dogs has seriously changed our lives and our Mini Aussie Louie's life for the better. Before training, Louie was very leash reactive/ aggressive towards other people and dogs. Going for walks used to be very anxiety-provoking for us, especially living in a pet-friendly condo building with dogs everywhere! It got to the point where he started reacting and biting us during our walks and that's when we knew he needed intensive training. We scheduled a consultation and were immediately impressed by knowledge and passion that Ari had for training. We felt confident that Downtown Dogs' team of trainers would help Louie build confidence and solidify foundational obedience skills for him to thrive in all settings. Having Louie attend the 3 week Board & Train program was the best decision we ever made. Louie was paired with Brooke, who is an INCREDIBLE trainer! She is patient, yet firm and has given us all the tools we need to be a successful team! Louie is still just as goofy and loving, but obedient and we no longer walk him in fear! We cannot thank Brooke and the staff at Downtown Dogs enough for the positive impact they have made on our lives. 1,000% recommend Downtown Dogs- they are worth the investment!“

“Nick and his team at Off Leash Canine are one of a kind! With Nick’s vast knowledge of canine psychology and 20+ years of experience working with dogs, he has helped my dog (Henry) and I so much in training. Henry now comes when called, knows an array of commands and walks beautifully on the leash, all because of Nicks 1:1 sessions with us. We also utilize Nick’s dog walking services 3x a week and cannot be more happy with the service that they provide! I know that Henry is safe and having fun when he’s at the dog park with Nick and his team. I could not recommend Off Lease Canine more, they are the best!“
“I’ve been taking my dog to Liz for years and the service we get has always been great. I take my dog in when she is going through lots of shedding and they do a great job with de shedding. I also appreciate the flexibility to be able to go in on the weekend since i work during the week. I 10/10 recommend House of Paws!“

“Jane is an incredible trainer and offers a wide variety of classes for all dogs. We started with an Introductory class and then moved on to an Outdoor Manners class and a Tricks/Obstacle Course class. Canis Sapiens also offers a free weekly additional session to work with additional trainers to any currently enrolled dogs. Highest possible recommendation!“
“If I could give 100 stars, I would. My husband and I chose Burnham Park Animal Hospital to care for our puppy when we were living in the South Loop. A few months ago we moved out to Irving Park, and we both came to the quick consensus that BPAH would remain our vet despite the distance. Everyone there shows our dog and us so much compassion and care. We’ve had experiences with three of their vets— Dr. Phillips, Dr. Antonicic, and Dr. Schell. They have all been beyond amazing, informative, and so genuinely caring. Their vet techs/front desk staff are just as caring and kind. Their emergency services (and prices!) FAR surpass the services at MedVet, which we have gone to once. Our dog is never scared to go to the vet/leave the room without us and happily greets every staff member there, which tells me they’re just as amazing behind the scenes as they are when we are present in the room. I truly can’t speak highly enough of Burnham Park Vet. We feel blessed to have them care for our sweet boy.“

“Wenz is absolutely amazing! We are so thankful we did the behavioral modification training for our Golden Retriever pup that was going through her teenage phase. I highly recommend working with Wenz, who has a great understanding of how to train dogs at all ages with a loving, caring and gentle attitude. She has a lot of great tricks for barking and leash pulling. She helped us come up with alternatives whenever our pup was being stubborn or biting the leash in public places. As the dog parents, we also learned so much and we developed a stronger relationship with our pup. The best part was learning how to properly leash walk our puppy as well as how she should greet visitors. It’s so easy to walk our pup now around the neighborhood and she’s a lot calmer when we have friends over. We would definitely do it all over again.“
