“Wenz is absolutely amazing! We are so thankful we did the behavioral modification training for our Golden Retriever pup that was going through her teenage phase. I highly recommend working with Wenz, who has a great understanding of how to train dogs at all ages with a loving, caring and gentle attitude. She has a lot of great tricks for barking and leash pulling. She helped us come up with alternatives whenever our pup was being stubborn or biting the leash in public places. As the dog parents, we also learned so much and we developed a stronger relationship with our pup. The best part was learning how to properly leash walk our puppy as well as how she should greet visitors. It’s so easy to walk our pup now around the neighborhood and she’s a lot calmer when we have friends over. We would definitely do it all over again.“

“We started training with Marius in April 2015 when Frank was 9 weeks old. I talked to many dog trainers but I loved Marius’ approach to trainingand his willingness to help guide me through the tough first months of puppyhood. People comment to me all the time on what a well trained & behaved dog he is! Frank LOVED Marius from the start, as does all my family! He truly has a special gift with animals. He trains with positive reinforcement and behavior modification techniques but all while using a firm but gentle touch. Marius also guided us through a very rough period when Frank was 9 -10 months old.Frank still goes for socialization adventures with Marius and loves his friends he gets to meet. He literally starts whining & clawing to get out of the car when we’re still blocks away from Marius’ he’s so excited! “Molly and her staff are incredibly caring and helpful. I had to board a friend's dog when she went into the hospital. Molly picked up Pepper, an elderly dog with limited eyesight, and immediately showed the care she would receive on a daily basis. When we learned that my friend would never be able to go home again, a staff member of Molly's decided to adopt sweet Pepper, and now Pepper has a wonderful forever home. I can't imagine this incredible personal care being shown by everyone, and I can't thank Western Wag and its staff enough.“

With Nick’s vast knowledge of canine psychology and 20+ years of experience working with dogs, he has helped my dog (Henry) and I so much in training. Henry now comes when called, knows an array of commands and walks beautifully on the leash, all because of Nicks 1:1 sessions with us. We also utilize Nick’s dog walking services 3x a week and cannot be more happy with the service that they provide! I know that Henry is safe and having fun when he’s at the dog park with Nick and his team. I could not recommend Off Lease Canine more, they are the best!“

“I’ve been taking my dog to Liz for years and the service we get has always been great. I take my dog in when she is going through lots of shedding and they do a great job with de shedding. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned between visits to prevent disease transmission — I’ve never worried that my cats will pick something up at this location. I like that I can schedule my cats for back to back appointments here and they can be seen basically at the same time with one doctor.Dr. Czerwonky is my preferred vet for the way she has attended to my cats, in particular my cat with asthma, but I’ve honestly had a great experience with other doctors (Dr. Currigan and Dr. Foose) as well.My less healthy cat has completed a dental cleaning under anesthesia here, and the staff sent me updates and photos of her to ensure I knew she was doing well during her procedure.If you’re looking for cat care in Chicago, I highly recommend trying to become a patient with VCA Cat Hospital of Chicago. They all know and love cats. I have never felt pressured to purchase supplements, prescription food, extra procedures, etc. here. I’ve been privileged and fortunate enough to be able to afford all essential care and some more preventative care as well. I personally get some Rx foods for my cats and the approval turnaround (I prefer to buy online) is always speedy with VCA. I also really appreciate the online virtual support that is offered in the VCA app. It’s come in handy when I have more minor questions that don’t warrant a visit. Overall a great experience being a client here for over a year.And get pet insurance BEFORE you go because pet insurance will not cover pre existing conditions or conditions that arise during a waiting period immediately after purchasing a plan (typically 2 weeks to a month). So if you purchase pet insurance at least a month before your appointment here, you are more likely to have care that is eligible for reimbursement. VCA is not “cheap” but that’s because high quality care costs money, especially with the vet/vet tech shortage our country is experiencing. Pet insurance will make the costs more manageable if you find the right plan.“
