“lf you're looking for a chiropractor in the Andersonville/ Ravenswood/ Lincoln Square neighborhood, I have nothing but amazing things to say about Lakeside spine & wellness. I was 7months pregnant and experiencing significant sciatica pain (to the point where I was uncomfortable walking). I started to complete the new patient request online but the next available appointment seemed to be a week later. Ana, at the front desk, reached out directly offering to help. She was able to get me in 2 days later to see Dr. Kiper I met with Dr. Kiper who was trained in Webster technique (safe for pregnancy). He was so easy to talk to and took the time to educate me on why I was experiencing pain. I quickly learned that the stretches I thought would help relieve pain were making things worse. He gave me a very manageable treatment plan: practice two moves daily. My pain was almost completely gone in a few days. I continued to see Dr. Kiper and/or Dr. Mendez (both Webster-certified) throughout my pregnancy. They were both extremely patient and helped me understand ways to treat pain through safe movement. In addition to seeing the doctors, I saw Ken for a Webster safe massage and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. I am now 3months postpartum and continue to look forward to my appointments.
