“We had major water damage to a condo we own and were leasing out. Our insurance company initially suggested a company to come in to stabilize, clean up and remediate. It quickly became clear our project was beyond their capability - they were disorganized, difficult to keep in touch with, and nothing was being accomplished. We expressed that to our insurance company, and they suggested we consider Parker Young. Jordon Greene of Parker Young met us at the condo and did a thorough analysis of what was needed. It was comforting to see him take control and spend the time to organize a plan for proceeding, including helping us understand the magnitude of what was involved. The big challenge then became communicating all that in required detail to the insurance companies involved - we had a landlord policy and the HOA had a policy; part of the difficulty was having the insurance companies agree on who would pay for what. Jordon managed very well those communications, and then, once an understanding of who pays for what, including some upgrades we wanted to make and pay for ourselves as part of the overall project. Lots of discussions along the way with Jordon and others at Parker-Young to resolve all that and then get the work underway. Joe Trantham was the project coordinator on site, and he did great work in that role, including how to best accomplish, most effective, ways to redo some of the requirements. Desiree Davis was very helpful with input and coordination of interior enhancements. Our tenant had to move out early on as the property was uninhabitable, It took a year for all the approvals to be secured and then to order components and methodologically get the work done. In the end, the property was cleaned up, repaired, rehabilitated, and enhanced in such a professional and high quality manner that it looks terrific. We are very pleased with how well the project was managed and the work was done, and highly recommend Parker Young from this experience.“
