“Deland Fitness Studio, is a nice clean and well kept place to work out. I have been training with Roth for a little over a year now and have made progress that I am certainly happy with. I’ve dropped about 25lbs, gained strength and look better than I have in years. Roth is professional, accommodating to previous injuries and extremely knowledgeable. You can tell the man makes it his passion. His exercises can be a little unorthodox but rest assured they work. I’m living proof of it and I couldn’t be happier with the progress we’ve made. “I’ve been working with Sean at Ascend for almost a year now! My focus has been and continues to be strength training (started with 0 experience). I can’t recommend Sean enough! He has shown great patience in teaching me the fundamentals over the months and has kept me steadily challenged as my skills and strength have grown. I feel so much better and stronger than this time last year! My energy levels are up and I can give my kids shoulder rides now and carry them around all day without pain/significant fatigue! I’ve also lost some weight to boot (though that has been more due to some adjustments to my nutrition I’ve been doing). If you can afford a personal trainer definitely give Ascend a shot! “I just got the ok postpartum to workout. I haven’t done CrossFit since the pandemic. I had such a good bond with everyone at the gym I went to that I didn’t even want to go somewhere new and almost just got a cheap gym membership. Im so happy I decided to give this gym a try. I couldn’t hardly walk for 3 days, but it felt good to feel the burn again. I can’t wait to watch my body change and gain back the muscle I’ve lost over the past few years of bad eating and pregnancy.“
