The requirements for an animal traveling into Australia are very specific and also very confusing. The doctors and professional staff at Rising Sun went ABOVE and beyond in translating the requirements and working with me and the pet relocation service to ensure all vaccinations and treatments were performed according to strict timelines and that documentation was accurate and timely. “This is without question the best vet I have ever been too. I have seen 3 vets with 2 dogs here. Dr Andy is so kind and compassionate I can’t even put it into words. My 14 year old Yorkie is a very complicated case and Dr Andy took so much time and patience to hear us out and come up with an action plan my wife and I were blown away. “Recently, I had the first appointment at Washington Park Veterinary Clinic. I am so excited that we can continue to see Dr. Kelsey Davies!! Dr. Davies has been a doctor to my 4 kitties since 2019. Dr. Davies is by far the best veteranain I have ever known. “My dog and I have always had a great experience here. The front desk is SO friendly and somehow they seem to remember every animal that visits this clinic.<br>Dr. Herman performed Athena's spaying procedure. I was really nervous leaving her there, but she did great. I was so grateful for the before surgery consultation, the midday update from the desk, and when I picked her up she was a bit sleepy, but perfect. She recovered VERY quickly and really didn't ever seem to experience noticeable discomfort.<br>I have moved out of the area or I'd still be going here, but if I end up moving closer I will for sure be back.“

“I was sitting a doggie who appeared to have ear mites, and the owners were out of the country. They got me in on a Saturday the same day I called. They were so kind and gentle. Turns out it was a bacterial infection. They cleaned its ears and got him the medicine to help him get better. I saw improvement by the next day, and the puppy was back to being happy!“

“Had a fabulous experience here. Exactly the kind of personalized care I’ve wanted for my kitties. The entire staff is amazing and you can tell how well they work together. They use the fear free approach which is wonderful for kitties. Both the tech and vet got down on my kitties level and held out their hand and called her name, gave her some scratches before picking her up and getting in her space. Something I think is so important for cats.They also have a heating pad on the table, toys and treats. Also love that both times I’ve been there we were the only ones so no overbooking like Ive experienced at other practices. The only thing I’m not over the moon about is the fact you’re restricted to using their pharmacy which is a bit pricier, I like having choices so I can choose the lowest price especially having multiple pets with health issues.Otherwise highly recommend this practice.“
