“I really like this studio. Very easy going and relaxing experience. Highly recommend.“
“I attended Alyssa's hot yoga class and it was great! The whole hour was both calming and challenging in the best way possible. It was such a comfortable environment and Alyssa was encouraging! The staff was very welcoming! The cold towel at the end of the class was icing on a cake! This was the best way to ease my way back into practice, glad I made it. I plan on coming back soon!“
“Sadly the pandemic closed down my long time hot yoga/Pilates studio. Not being the self-motivated type, I went from hardcore hot Pilates four times a week to NOTHING. As my body got visibly out of shape, I got depressed and couldn't muster enough motivation to change. Beginning of this year, after reaching my very peak weight (and lowest level of physical strength), I finally came to the realization that I have to do something about the situation. I tried a few studios and Rebel Rise hit all the marks for what I was looking for:1) Ease of commute and parking: The studio is located in Franklin Square, a small, quiet plaza in Santa Clara "downtown". It's easy to drive to and there are plenty of parking at the lot across the street.2) Small business: I truly appreciate a non-corporate/chain studio, without the the obnoxious headsets and/or take-themselves too seriously attitudes. The studio is well-rounded and down to earth. 3) Clean and orderly: This is a super clean facility. Owner Jenn provides plenty of heavenly smelling tea tree oil sanitizing sprays and wipes for students to wipe down mats, equipments, and blocks after use. For strength training classes, disinfectant wipes are used to wipe down weights and mats as students switch from one station to the next. The equipments are well-organized and varied. There are also mats you can borrow for the class if you forget yours. There's no shower but there is a changing room, as well as a water dispenser. Restrooms are shared with the rest plaza and kept very clean.4) Uncrowded classes: People are not jammed packed into a room. Strength training classes are 8 people max to ensure safety and distance while working out. I believe the yoga classes are maxed at 20. As a person who needs personal space/distance even prior to COVID, I very much enjoy not having people's feet right in front of my face while doing yoga. We don't have to park our mats in closely pre-marked spots either; I appreciate the freedom to choose my space.5) Friendly (not the unctuous kind) and supportive environment: Not only do the instructors greet you by name, all the students are welcoming and kind. I was very nervous about attending the first few classes, afraid that I wouldn't be able to keep up. The nerves were completely unnecessary. The longtime students were comforting and sweet, taking the time to learn my name and chitchat. It's not a competitive environment by any means. The classes are easy to adapt for beginners and you are not pressured to do more than what you are comfortable with.6) Variety of classes and schedule: There are 6 AM and 7 AM classes for those are enthusiastic about morning workouts. For people who are more time flexible, there are midday and early afternoon classes. Evening classes start at 5:15 PM and 6:15 PM. FYI, there are more classes offered than the schedule listed on the Rebel Rise website. Use the MINDBODY app to see HIIT classes, workshops, and special events (like free classes at Alo or Vuori). Coming from a hot Pilates background, I do chase a bit of physical difficulty challenge and favor the HIIT and strength classes. Yoga classes are great for stretch and balance practice in between. Due to past yoga related injuries, I appreciate that the yoga classes are not focused on crazy inversions and contortions. I do miss power yoga with a faster and continuous flow sometimes, but then again, HIIT is a decent substitute if you are looking for cardio and body resistance type of workout. About two weeks into the 3x a week one month trial membership, I signed up for unlimited monthly membership. Now two months in, I've gone from a complete couch potato to attending classes up to 5 times a week. It's not only because I enjoy the workouts, I also enjoy seeing my fellow classmates and the instructors. This is such a gem of a studio. I would encourage you to try it out if you are either looking to start or re-start a fitness habit.“
“The team at Paragon is the best. Real results for strength, nutrition, performance. Whatever you want. They believe in you and get you there.“
“My son has been attending this school for the last four months. He loves the classes. Couch Chris makes sure that everyone in the classes works hard. He not only teaches how to kick and punch, but he also teaches kids how to use your brain with every combination. I like that a lot. I see a lot of improvements in my son’s technique. Really recommend this place for your kiddos.“
“Anumeha is a great spiritual guide/mentor - she calmly listens to your questions/concerns and identifies pointed solutions/recommendations. If you're feeling lost, I would strongly encourage connecting with her, you have nothing to loose and only to gain.“
“I started Patricia Becker's yoga class on Wednesday morning. I feel like I could be hooked on this. I'm lucky I found about it and wish I had found it previously but better late than never.“
“It's beginner friendly! And such a great workout. I was sore in places I didn't know existed on my body ? The experience felt amazing.“
“I've know Kelly as a physical therapist and healer for many years. She has been serving the greater health of the community with the outmost care and attention to detail. I would recommend a session with this professional any day.“
“As a regular attendee, I can confidently say that stepping through their doors is like entering a sanctuary of serenity and support. The studio's cleanliness is great. But what truly sets Sagar Hot Yoga apart is their unparalleled kindness and dedication to their community. The instructors embody warmth and compassion, fostering a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the mat. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels valued and supported. One particularly memorable instance stands out: I arrived for a class only to find out that the scheduled instructor was unable to make it. Instead of canceling, another instructor, named Kinjal graciously volunteered to lead an impromptu session, ensuring that we didn't miss out on our practice. It's this level of care and flexibility that truly sets Sagar Hot Yoga apart. And let's not forget about the quality of instruction. They are skilled instructors who guide you through each session with expertise and encouragement. Their classes are not only physically invigorating but also mentally and emotionally uplifting, leaving you feeling rejuvenated from the inside out. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a curious beginner, I wholeheartedly recommend Sagar Hot Yoga as the ultimate destination for your yoga journey. Trust me, your mind, body, and soul will thank you.“

“Wonderful yoga studio that I found for a weekend trip to Mountain View. The instructor Ruth was friendly and helpful when she signed me in. She explained all the poses carefully and suggested variations for folks who might need them.I loved that the studio is stocked with props available for students to use. The facility was very clean and the space had a warm energy that made me feel comfortable. After the class was over I felt refreshed. It was the perfect thing to do after a long day of flights from the east coast. I’ll definitely be back the next time I am in town. Thank you so much Ruth!“
“One of the best Iyengar yoga studios in Southbay. I love the studio and instructors. I highly recommend anyone who is just a beginner or advanced to continue practicing.“
“Healing! Best medicine ever! How Sherry's teaching and guiding have restored my body back. I had been suffering from frozen shoulder pain in years without any proper treatment from acupuncturist, messagers, and kaiser therapist. Finally this is the one. 1.5 hours one yoga class always has gone a blink of eyes and enriches my body.“
“Many years ago when YiY was near Wells Fargo on Castro, I regularly went for Restorative and for Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra was taught by Mojdeh. I forgot the name of the Restorative teacher who later relocated to SoCal and the studio stopped offering the class. I really liked those classes, but they are not offered anymore. The current class schedule is filled with classes only very sparsely.“
“What a year passed by - 2022 - First, let me thank Reshma, who is unique and caring for every person joining Rythematic. All the instructors, Megs, Neha, Tripathi and Pari extraordinary in what they do, motivating us to achieve our goals not only in the class, but by constantly pushing us and checking on us every day through WhatsApp and texting.I want to share my Journey with Rythematic. I was always interested in dancing but hesitated. I started looking out for something and found Rythematic through yelp; I reached out to the number and was still determining who would be on the other side. That's when I connect with a super motivating and positive person, Reshma. I suffered from anxiety, depression, Thyroid (medical condition) and, of course, being overweight. Every time I stepped towards getting fit and healthy, I fell back. But this time, it was a miracle. Reshma was constantly in touch with me, though, at that point, she was only doing virtual classes. The day she decided to do it in person, she pinged me, and somehow I managed to attain my first class - on 15th August - what a day ;-) From there, it was no looking back. I not only got addicted to the vibes but found great community and friends ( friends forever). It was a fantastic feeling, and I can never forget my first class after it ( I spent my whole day mainly in the washroom, lol :-) ) as if my body was longing for this kind of detox. Reshma, Megha and Neha made sure that I was consistent. Regardless of what, I was motivated enough to come to class. I was shy and not confident enough, but I knew I was in good hands: so much love and motivation. The next and crucial thing I started bothering Resh was to add another in-person class. She is a sweet soul; she accommodated my request and added another in-person session; last but not least, I wanted to be in every class, so I asked her if I could join her while she was giving virtual class live, but joining her at home. She was like oh yeah, and I did. In 4 months, I lost 12 lbs (of course - all festive season). It helped me come out not only from my shell but also feeling happy, loved and wanted. What I achieved after losing - There are a few things to list downDepression - I was delighted, and my relationships improved. Looking good: I got a lot of compliments as I was taking care of myself, my body - my skin. More stamina -I could work a lot better and focus a lot better. The anxiety went away, and I was happy. I could play Garba(Navratri) and could ski after 8 yrs. I can go on n on about this group, Reshma and all the instructors( they spoil us with all the celebrations and goodies - special chai, omg ). Words are not enough to express my feelings, but I tried my best. We all need love and attention, which I get from this group. I love them for the way they are, and I look forward to going to every class - I call this place - My Happy Place :-) Please join us if you read my post and get motivated by my journey.“
“I highly recommend Setareh! I went to many specialist doctors with zero success, before seeking Setareh's help. She is incredible at what she does. She is endlessly caring, kind and takes the time to thoroughly listen to your issues. I came to her hopeless and very uncomfortable. I am now healed thanks to her amazing support!“
“A best school (yes, really its a school of Arts) i have ever been to. Master David Bell (4 times World Champion) is so simple, humble and very honest in teaching the "real" art (not just martial art). Love this place.“
“They offer several power yoga ZOOM sessions everyday. Professional instructors with clear instructions. There are also great meditation classes available taught by Casey Wickstrom with magnificent guidance.“
“Aska is a very patient and helpful yoga instructor. Her online videos are great, and I loved the one Facebook Live class that I attended recently. She has come to my home (prior to the coronavirus pandemic) and provided wonderful in-person instruction, tailored to my goals, ability level, injuries and energy level on that particular day. Since the shelter-in-place order, we have done a 1:1 session virtually, that was extremely helpful. We needed to make sure that my computer video camera was placed properly, but once we did, she was able to see me just fine. I was amazed with the most minor of corrections she was still able to give me with my body placement, even though we weren’t together in-person. She again was able to provide an excellent, tailored experience to my needs. Highly recommended!“
“I don't like the new schedule. My favorite 4:30 pm classes were half gone after switching to the new owner. Take back my comments, since schedule on the website does not match with the one posted in the studio.“
“25 years ago, I injured my foot while playing beach volleyball. To this day, it is incredibly painful to get my foot into or out of a ski boot. Xrays showed no break, but doctors couldn't find a fix. Although I sought Jenn's help today to improve my flexibility and posture, she amazingly improved my range of motion in my toes in 10 minutes. She gave me exercises to perform daily and I expect to have full range of motion very soon. Thank you, Jenn! You are awesome!“
“Did Yoga Teacher course many years ago when Yoga Bharati started as a new organization in the San Francisco Bay Area, as a branch of SVYASA, Bengaluru. I feel blessed with the knowledge learned and the wonderful interaction I had with the passionate teachers. It has grown continuously since then to provide a plethora of services, and courses, thereby spreading the ancient treasure of wisdom flowing down from Bhaarat to USA and also reaching out to the world, catering to all ages from children to adults to live a healthy meaningful and blessed life.“
“This gym is absolutely amazing! It's a wonderful place to get a workout in with your trainer. It's also a wonderful place to train clients if you are a trainer. I've known Travis over a decade and he really cares about BBA Gym and the experience of the people who show up there. BBA is a fantastic fitness community and I highly recommend it!!“
