“Had a great experience here! Instructors are super friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend.“
“It was a really nice , no pressure experience for me being my first time doing yoga. And I spent the rest of the day feeling more relaxed than I have ever been.“
“This studio is my favorite yoga studio in SF. I come here every time I'm in SF for work because I like the instructors, the location, the class, the cleanliness and the warm and welcoming people who work here.“
“I've been training with Charles for a little under 2 years. He's the first personal trainer I've ever had and it's been a transformative experience. I went from never deadlifting to deadlifting 315lbs, among other milestones.Just trust the process with Charles and you'll be amazed with the results.“
“I only tried the Sunday community yoga and loved it! It was my first class after 4 years of having paused my yoga practice. I’ll be back!“
“Beautiful gathering and talented people! I enjoyed my soothing chanting experience with yummy vegetarian dinner!!“
“Wonderful place, teachers and all staff are friendly, warm and super professional, the place is super clean and beautiful, 10/10 recommend.“
“Great classes! May Mei and Adrian are excellent teachers. Would recommend to friends.“
“I've done many online yoga classes with Marc and have loved each and everyone of them. Marc's passion and depth of practice shines through every time as he guides new and advanced students to adapt the practice to their body. He creates a safe and inviting space where students can feel comfortable but yet further their personal growth. Thank you Marc for being an awesome teacher!“
“Small studio, great teachers, and great energy! Love the variety of times throughout the week.“
“My experience at Sisters in Motion was excellent! I really appreciated Jennie's guidance and care throughout my orientation class. She is graceful, powerful, patient, and encouraging. I also loved all the language around expanding, taking up space, and touching our bodies as we moved. Their focus on female empowerment through movement and community is so vital.“
“This is my favorite yoga studio. I have been going here since before Covid-19, and the studio still has maintained the same relaxing and healing atmosphere. Fatima and Jen are my go-to instructors, but any class you take will give you the workout you didn't know you needed. Love it here and will always keep coming back for more yoga sessions!“
“I really liked this yoga studio, especially heated yoga is the best. Sometimes its just really crowded, and there is no own space. And if its your first class you get rent a yoga-mat for free or you can actually buy one. Overall ??“
“Love this place. Clean, well spaced and great equipment. The owner, Humberto, is also awesome!“
“Took a transformational class with Eric today. Great blend of movement, mantras, and music. I left feeling relaxed -mind and body :)“
“The Pad is a great studio! I like it because it is close to my house, parking is relatively easy and they offer many different classes everyday. I feel like post-covid, many yoga studios only offer a couple of classes a day and I appreciate having more options. It is a very calm and relaxing environment and folks of all levels are welcomed and challenged. The teachers range from very good to really freakin' awesome - there are a couple who clearly know their stuff and have a lot of experience to share.“
“This was my introduction to reiki, massage and acupuncture. I worked with three different people and they were all engaging and educational in their approach.Community Well brought me to new levels of relaxation during my entire time and I left feeling more in-tune with my mind, body, and spirit than I ever have before.“
“The Mats is a cozy little yoga studio that has become my escape for self-care. The studio space itself is a little small but I love how intimate the classes are! They provide quality yoga mats, blocks, blankets and bolsters so you can focus on your flow if you're new and don't have equipment.I've been attending classes here for a few months now and have found an instructor for every mood. Stephenie's evening classes are perfect when I want a slow, meditative flow. She gently guides us through poses and holds each one long enough for my body to fully sink in. I always leave her class feeling loose and limber.Joann's morning Hatha class is great for de-stressing. The sequences are simple but rejuvenating. We move through meditations and breathing exercises at a leisurely pace. When I want more of a challenge, I go to Josh or Tiffany's Vinyasa classes. They seamlessly flow us through faster-paced flows focused on breath and building up to more advanced arm balances or backbends. Both are so encouraging and help modify poses for all skill levels. I come out of their classes energized and empowered.Overall it's a gem for anyone looking to establish or deepen their yoga practice. I feel lucky to have discovered this oasis in my neighborhood!“
“I love Cary. Does anyone know where she is teaching now? She did the best 90min Hot Yoga sessions, so sad I'm unsure where all the staff is when I go to book!?“
“The Noe Folk yoga studio is a cozy space with welcoming teachers. They have a variety of classes from Power Yoga to Restorative to Sound Bath. All the props are brand new and clean. I like that you don't have to pay $$ to rent mats etc. If you live in the Castro like me, it is definitely worth the hike up the Castro Street hill!“
“I have been attending classes at Folk in Bernal and Noe for a few months now. Very friendly and accommodating staff and teachers and great variety of classes. Great locations!“
“Brian is the best yoga instructor ever! My sister is going through really serious health issues and she enrolled his class only couple weeks ago ,l can't believe how quickly she recovered from meningitis and muscle aches! she is doing so well now! We can't thank enough for Brian &BodyTonic !“
“I've been practicing yoga with Armando for 5+ years at this point. I love his vinyasa flow yoga -- it's meant for all levels, so there's lots of helpful prompts and hands-on adjustments (if you're comfortable with that), but he also gives options for extra challenges (if that's your speed). It's not "hot yoga", but he has heaters that keep the classes at a nice toasty warm temperature. Recently I've been going to the yoga wall classes. This is a unique experience. I love the feeling of inversions, and this provides a good outlet for that. Yoga poses are done against the wall, against gravity. I think I'm decent at yoga, but the classes kick my butt. It's challenging completely different muscle groups and requires a different type of strength. The classes are very diverse and inclusive. Forget any stereotypes of the typical waifish woman. In class, there's all ages, genders, body types. Particularly for the yoga wall class, I've been impressed by how there is an older/senior demographic, but I realize that everybody gets something different out of the the yoga wall classes. While I'm looking for a core-strengthening challenge, others are looking for a yoga class that takes pressure off their spines, relieve back pain, etc. On nice days, he may occasionally have his vinyasa flow class outside. (He will have updates on his Instagram/Facebook if that is the case.) My favorite routine is to go to his class on Saturday morning, and then get a bite to eat afterwards at Cafe Alma a block away. I can't say enough good things about this studio!“
“Phenomenal yoga studio. I can’t recommend it enough. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Has changed my life.I started yoga 3 months ago for the first time and attended regularly. In my first few weeks Steve and Gary went the extra mile to help me learn the poses and the breathing. I wasn’t able to do the basic poses. My head was full of thoughts and I was distracted and uncomfortable. In just 3 months Steve and Gary took me from 0 to doing the full Ashtanga primary series while relaxed and focused. Besides all of the poses I can now do (lotus, handstand, headstand, and a lot more), I leave each class feeling amazing. My body and mind feel dramatically better all throughout the day. This dramatic improvement would have been impossible without their dedicated guidance and effort.I don’t think I could have asked for a better experience. The music and vibe of the place is also amazing. Thanks so much Gary and Steve!“
“TruFusion is the best place to do yoga. I couldn’t be happier with mi experience here. The staff is so nice and the quality of the classes quite high. Facilities are always clean, which I really appreciate, and the hot yoga room the best. Definitely try the free class if you haven’t been there, you’ll love it.“
“Quite spacious gym located inside the office building at Tower 2. I recently signed up after leaving my primary gym. I had some must-haves when joining a new gym and this gym met it all. It's super clean, spacious, all the equipment I need. For public access, there are no weekend hours but M-F they're open 5am to 9pm. Bonus, there is also free parking.“
