Elizaveta at Allure 101 salon is an amazing master, she is not aggressive in her approach, she will not sacrifice the health of your hair just to be able to take a pretty picture for her portfolio. Everyone leaves hair salons pretty after a fresh color and a blowout, what matters is how our hair looks and feels like days and weeks later. My hair is very fine, needs continuous checking as it is very easy to get over processed and irreversibly burnt, and unfortunately that is exactly what happened at another salon, my waist-long hair was ruined and all of it had to be cut, all of it. With Elizaveta's help, my hair is growing out, blond like I like it but it is healthy, not overprocessed, not burnt, my hair is soft, no split ends, no breakage. Elizaveta dedicates her time only to me when I visit her, she has no one else to split her time and attention between, she constantly checks on my hair to ensure it processes evenly, literally stands over me 100% of the time and opens foils nonstop, taking some off and rinsing off the chemicals to stop the process but leaving other foils on for an even color. It is just the way that my hair needs, she figured it out, and God knows she is patient with me. I have been going to Elizaveta for 2 full years now, gave it a long time before writing the review, the time has come, all of my old burnt hair has been cut, all my hair now is the new growth under Elizaveta's careful watch. Did I mention she is just a doll too? Such a great person, when I visit her, time flies. I wish she let me visit her more often but she will not touch my hair until it recovers from our previous treatment, it could be 3 months or could be 6, she will absolutely not let me do anything if she thinks my hair wouldn't yet withhold additional treatment. She knows how to push you further each session without going overboard and all of her routines are well-balanced and varied. Had a makeup application with Alexandra, with assist from Kathy. I told her that I wanted something very natural for a wedding. This salon uses extremely good products. Alexandra consulted with me to make sure that I was comfortable with what she was doing as I told her that I do not normally wear makeup. I attended the wedding and felt comfortable the whole time because I never felt that my makeup was overdone. I also ended up getting a blowout which allowed me to relax before getting dressed instead of doing my hair on my own. The salon has very good energy. I'm so happy that I picked this salon! I went to her desperately in need of a good hair stylist because of a trip I have to make. My former hairstylist of many years had not been available for weeks due to illness. Daniz colored and cut my hair with such an ease and creativity that made me feel good. She is definitely a keeper!

I had a terrific hair cut from Tim. Very typical barber shop inside. Tim’s service was kind and detailed. Typically a barber shop cut for me has only been with a trimmer but Tim was more detailed and went back to scissor cut the majority of my hair which always looks better and he took his time cleaning up around the ears and back of the head. He even cleaned up the peach fuzz on my ears and razor shaved my neck. $35 for a men’s cut. I will definitely be back. Thanks

This is really I have found to be one of the best nail salons in the solana beach, Del Mar and encinitas area. They have very good customer service. I have always felt that they treated me well and respected my time. So many nail salons in the area treat you like a number and expect you to wait an hour on a pre arranged appointment. They do not do that ever! I appreciate that. Kim is always very nice and a good manager. The pricing is a bit more than other places in the area, but it is worth it to me to have good customer service. Some nail techs are better than others. I just had an acrylic gel fill with Linda and she did a good job. She actually took the time to do a base coat and top coat and many nail techs want to bypass it. As far as nail art, longevity of the nails if getting acrylic etc....it depends on your nail tech. Overall I really like the people working there in general- but like I said it depends on the nail tech. Kim does a good job with customer service and so do many of the nail techs.
Best nail salon in all of San Diego. Zoe has created a perfect oasis for self care, sans any toxic chemical smells and busy, high volume nail salons. Her 2-woman shop is clean, adorable, bright and never has that chemical nail smell, which is something very important to me. I have been seeing Zoe for well over a year and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her art. My nails look flawless every time and I recommend her to all of my friends. If you're looking for a clean space, super warm-hearted nail artist and fabulous looking nails, 10/10 recommend!
I get my Nails & Toes done here. The expertise of filing the shape properly is key and much appreciated. It is hard to find these days. I moved away and now drive 30 min back just to continue having perfect nails. Patricia & Lauren are sisters that own the salon, they are both so kind and have good energy.
There's no shortage of nail salons around, but finding a clean, reasonably priced one with friendly service and complimentary wine is a more challenging task. A friend recommended Angeliz Nails to me, so we decided to try it out without an appointment. We were greeted warmly and served immediately. The salon is well-staffed, clean, and bright. The massage chairs were comfortable and looked new, and the selection of nail polishes was impressive. All the nail technicians were friendly, chatty, and offered us beverages. Overall, it was a great experience. My pedicure was flawless, and the nail tech took her time, so I didn't feel rushed. I can't comment on the quality of their gel manicures, but I'll definitely try one on my next visit

I feel so lucky to have been recommended Marnina! She is the exact embodiment of holistic health which is exactly what I needed. When you are dealing with gut health you become aware of every chemical you put on your skin. MyLynn is so nice and the place is quiet and relaxing. She has been the only person working there when I've come in. I'm sort of over places that have a million clients at once. With MyLynn it's not overbooked, she takes appointments by text and sticks to the schedule. She is a very smart business owner and does a great job.

I worked with Andrea at Mitchell's, and with her helpful advice ordered a 13' round seagrass area rug, as well as a seagrass runner for my curving staircase.Jose (Joe) templated the staircase runner, and just finished installing it. He did a great job! I'm sure seagrass isn't easy to work with, (especially considering the pie-shaped treads!) It looks much better than the seagrass runner it replaced.Highly recommended!

Network Spinal care is completely different from traditional chiropractic methods, and I never realized how essential it could be. Dr Cory and his team have been just amazing in every way. My daughter has some back issues from track and his approach has been thorough and systematic. He truly cares and is such a genuine and down to earth person. I am so glad we found him. The office also has this awesome texting system. Makes it so easy for a busy family to make our schedule work. You need to experience this for yourself.

I can't even describe how I feel today after my CST session with Dr. Chelf! She has such a calming and nurturing energy and she's so knowledgeable in CST, PT and Chiropractic modalities. She also has an Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist and other specialists in and near her office. I need all of them, too.
I'm an overnight Newborn Care Specialist and Sleep Consultant, and I've worked with many very tense babies. A lot do them have oral ties and dysfunction as well, so I've always recommended body work to help release their tension so they can sleep and feed more comfortably. After seeing how gentle Dr. Chelf is with me, she's my top referral for my families because I know that my babies will be well cared for by her. I've already referred 4 families to her.
She mostly worked out the chronic knot I've had in my upper back. It's not completely gone, but this is the most relief I've had and it's been bugging me for years, despite seeing multiple providers for treatment. She did ultrasound therapy as well, which is so relaxing and helps aid in healing and reducing inflammation.
Also, she did a proper oral functional assessment. I do have class 2 anterior tongue tie, and class 1-2 upper lip tie, as I suspected. They're not severe, but they definitely explain my lifelong symptoms and I think body work alone might correct my issues, but I'm not opposed to getting them released after proper prep time and modalities, if I need to. My cheeks are very tight, but no buccal ties, just tension, especially on my left side from my head/jaw down to my hips. It's such a relief to finally have a proper diagnosis and I don't have to guess if I'm tied anymore.
I highly recommend Dr. Chelf for everyone from newborns to elderly patients. I still can't believe how much better I feel after just one appointment. I'm so grateful and I can't wait for my next session!
Dr. Dawn and her team saved the day for me. I developed severe overuse damage to my right leg while training for a marathon. It progressed to the point where I couldn't run more than a mile and withonly two months to the race. Dr. Dawn used a combination of therapies including ART and dry needle to help me recover just in time. I recently completed the event with no issues or restrictions. I've been doing pilates with Shanna Maximov for a few years before she opened this studio and she is the best. She knows how to push you further each session without going overboard and all of her routines are well-balanced and varied. She's also really knowledgeable about pilates and sports/personal training in general. She is an amazing pilates instructor, highly recommend!

Ciaran was recommended to me while I was struggling with a lingering injury in the midst of training for my first marathon. Ciaran was honest, direct, and thorough in his approach whilst helping me better understand the etiology of my injury and the importance of running mechanics alongside strength & conditioning. Ciaran's light-hearted jokes allowed for a sense of comfort and encouragement during a time of immense distress and self-doubt. I am also grateful for the much-needed support in the S&C department from Gavin, and Alex's assistance in muscle recovery (deep-tissue massage). I will definitely be back for more!

My husband and I always like to have Thai massage here every time we visited San Diego. The therapists are well-experienced and expert. They really care about how to treat you and heal you from stiff and pain. We feel good and so relaxed after the massage. All staff are friendly, nice and kind. We live in Hawaii; however, we definitely go back for their services every quarter.

Dr. Xie is the best chinese medicine doctor I've ever had - and this is me speaking on the basis of trying several chinese medicine doctors over the years in both china and the US. She has been educated both in China and the US on chinese medicine, acupuncture, and toxicology. She was able to explain my symptoms both in chinese and modern western medicine terms. Although I was only able to see her for a few weeks (I moved away from SD), my symptom reduction was visible. She truly listened to my concerns and would carefully adjust my prescription every week. She would also check in with my sleep, exercise, energy level, and anxiety/depression symptoms to holistically evaluate how I am doing. Although chinese medine is not covered by insurances, her pricing was really reasonable compared with a lot of other naturopaths and chinese medicine doctors. If you have been struggling from chronic health issues and would like to try an alternative to western medicine, try out treatment at Dr.Xie's clinic! In one session I saw big improvements and I felt much more calm! Amazing. Give it a shot, needles hurt a little for like 5 seconds but worth it. He said he doesn't do very light needles insertion because then he can't hit the point and trigger the right relief
