“I had been working with Connor for 1-2 weeks when I got an MRI result telling me I had a torn labrum, with bursitis in my rotator cuff. I had very limited range of motion, not being able to hold my arm over my head or do a lateral raise without pain. I am a tennis player, and I hadn’t served in nearly two months. However over the following 5-6 weeks Connor worked very frequently with me to get my shoulder back on track. In that stretch Connor’s commitment and dedication to getting me healthy again showed in numerous ways. He would meet me as early as I needed, and would even get out on the tennis court early in the morning with me. I saw results very quickly. I first regained my strength, and then certain movements became less painful until ultimately it felt resolved. Connor is hyper analytical and has an answer for everything. He knows when to push and when to back off. He will give you extensive reports of your sessions and overall shows a sense of care, passion, commitment, and diligence that is extremely rare. I’m truly amazed at how quickly my shoulder has healed given the state of it 5-6 weeks ago. Thanks Connor!“
“Easily the most supportive, encouraging gym I've been to thus far. I already have a great idea on fitness and training but these guys have quickly filled in the gaps with excellent coaching, classes and community. 7x7 has been beyond welcoming and answered every question. They don't let you feel isolated due to skill set and have classes for every fitness level. CrossFit sometimes can have a negative bias towards it but trust me, everyone who works or trains here wants you stronger, happier and healthier. As a primary endurance athlete who sometimes does bodybuilding style training, my fitness and body have never felt better. I plan to keep coming back to this A1 facility month after month and hitting goals. Check it out! Parking is a little tough but well worth it. They also have lockers, a small refreshment fridge and a decent sized bathroom that is clean.“
“Had a great experience here! Instructors are super friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend.“
“Love this studio last time I went I forgot my mat and the teacher went to blocks to find me and tell me. Forgot again and the human at the front desk helped me get it even though a class was going on they had to go around back and sneak in for me. Also, CLASS was amazing!! Would rec healing warm place“
“I simply love the quality of instruction! As a fully trained yoga instructor, I appreciate the unique sequencing that many teachers @Metta offer each and every time. Gillian Confair, Stephanie Phelan, and July have truly impressed me with the layering of very refined instruction. I am in grad school and the 7am classes are super convenient to start the day grounded and embodied. Lastly, I love the community aspect.“
“An awakening! Not only do you connect with yourself on a physical level through the bodywork but also with your inner self through spiritual guidance. Ms. Rebecca’s tools provide an opportunity for deeper introspection; far superior to others’ spiritual teaching. I’m very grateful to work with her and I’m encouraged our work together will help me continue my life journey more enlightened.Thank you, Ms. Rebecca, for all that you do!“
“SIM is a very unique pole dance studio where you are encouraged to focus on movement that feels good to your body instead of focusing on how you look in your movement (there are no mirrors). This place is very special to me as it’s a space where I can truly unplug after a long day of work and leave feeling rejuvenated. The studio has amazing teachers who teaches with so much heart and are very supportive. This movement is much more than just pole dancing and how you choose to experience it is entirely up to your choosing. Thank you to everyone at SIM who has created and continues to hold this safe and judgement free space while honoring the fact that we are all on our own unique journeys.“
“Great classes! May Mei and Adrian are excellent teachers. Would recommend to friends.“
“Hot yoga is an incredibly important aspect of my life and the location I go to needs to be great to support that. I took their introductory one-week special and immediately signed up to continue classes for the foreseeable future.I've taken classes with Alex, Rikk, Haleli, and Genie and am so excited to have found this spot. It's wonderful because all of the staff are pleasant and wonderful people which has the yogis catch the same positive feelings, the instructions are clear, understanding, and help me maintain my center, and the room has everything you'd need to hop in and get going.I love it here and I'm sure you would too :)“
“Small studio, great teachers, and great energy! Love the variety of times throughout the week.“
“I love working with Samantha. Her effectiveness as a healing practitioner springs from her immense dedication to her clients, her curiosity about body and spirit, and her skill and sensitivity as an acupuncturist. Her open-heartedness as she listens and “feels into” what is happening with you is sensational. She is committed to finding a way to help, no matter what difficulty is presenting itself. I always feel heard and taken care of by her. She has helped me with specific issues I didn’t think could be “fixed,” along with calming down my nervous system in general. She is a great companion for improving health!“
“I really liked this yoga studio, especially heated yoga is the best. Sometimes its just really crowded, and there is no own space. And if its your first class you get rent a yoga-mat for free or you can actually buy one. Overall ??“
“Took a transformational class with Eric today. Great blend of movement, mantras, and music. I left feeling relaxed -mind and body :)“
“Glow is the best! Glow has been essential for growing my yoga, Pilates, and meditation practices through a wonderful range of class offerings. Beautiful studio. Inspired atmosphere. Outstanding teachers. Welcoming community. An oasis in North Beach.“
“I had my first class at IFP with Marianne. I've had classes with Marianne at another studio. First, Marianne is a wonderful teacher. Although she teaches a class with others, she will provide individualized attention to each person. She is so warm and kind. I can't recommend her enough! Second, I love the feel of this studio. It's has a calm feel to it. The reformers are also amazing. 5 stars all around! Can't wait to come back.“
“Janet helped me to reduce my stress and anxiety with a therapeutic massage. Afterwards, my head felt like it was going to fall of my shoulders because everything was so relaxed… it’s a good thing.“
“The Pad is a great studio! I like it because it is close to my house, parking is relatively easy and they offer many different classes everyday. I feel like post-covid, many yoga studios only offer a couple of classes a day and I appreciate having more options. It is a very calm and relaxing environment and folks of all levels are welcomed and challenged. The teachers range from very good to really freakin' awesome - there are a couple who clearly know their stuff and have a lot of experience to share.“
“came here from classpass and im so glad i did it, probably one of the best yoga classes in my life. chris is knowledgeable in correcting my form and posture and super professional and passionate about yoga and meditation. i really enjoyed the experience. i also love that it's a small class, only 4 of us, chris was so kind he shared with us some food after and everyone stayed behind to chat a bit. i really like this community kind of feeling and can feel that chris poured his heart to run the place, i would recommend everyone to come join the class and rhe place is lovely and cozy :) thanks so much!“
“Rae Studios is such a gem for dancers of all levels. So grateful to find this studio. It’s now a part of my weekly routine and I’ve made so many friends! “
“Such a great and convenient location. The room is very clean, cozy and warmth. I love Martina and Mia. They are amazing.“
“Not only is the space a beautifully crafted retreat, but Marc is an amazing teacher. I've been lucky enough to take classes with Marc and learn from his teaching style. His classes, and other wellness programming he offers is truly a gift to San Francisco. Thank you Marc!“
“The Noe Folk yoga studio is a cozy space with welcoming teachers. They have a variety of classes from Power Yoga to Restorative to Sound Bath. All the props are brand new and clean. I like that you don't have to pay $$ to rent mats etc. If you live in the Castro like me, it is definitely worth the hike up the Castro Street hill!“
“I have been attending classes at Folk in Bernal and Noe for a few months now. Very friendly and accommodating staff and teachers and great variety of classes. Great locations!“
“Brian is the best yoga instructor ever! My sister is going through really serious health issues and she enrolled his class only couple weeks ago ,l can't believe how quickly she recovered from meningitis and muscle aches! she is doing so well now! We can't thank enough for Brian &BodyTonic !“
“I've been practicing yoga with Armando for 5+ years at this point. I love his vinyasa flow yoga -- it's meant for all levels, so there's lots of helpful prompts and hands-on adjustments (if you're comfortable with that), but he also gives options for extra challenges (if that's your speed). It's not "hot yoga", but he has heaters that keep the classes at a nice toasty warm temperature. Recently I've been going to the yoga wall classes. This is a unique experience. I love the feeling of inversions, and this provides a good outlet for that. Yoga poses are done against the wall, against gravity. I think I'm decent at yoga, but the classes kick my butt. It's challenging completely different muscle groups and requires a different type of strength. The classes are very diverse and inclusive. Forget any stereotypes of the typical waifish woman. In class, there's all ages, genders, body types. Particularly for the yoga wall class, I've been impressed by how there is an older/senior demographic, but I realize that everybody gets something different out of the the yoga wall classes. While I'm looking for a core-strengthening challenge, others are looking for a yoga class that takes pressure off their spines, relieve back pain, etc. On nice days, he may occasionally have his vinyasa flow class outside. (He will have updates on his Instagram/Facebook if that is the case.) My favorite routine is to go to his class on Saturday morning, and then get a bite to eat afterwards at Cafe Alma a block away. I can't say enough good things about this studio!“
“Phenomenal yoga studio. I can’t recommend it enough. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Has changed my life.I started yoga 3 months ago for the first time and attended regularly. In my first few weeks Steve and Gary went the extra mile to help me learn the poses and the breathing. I wasn’t able to do the basic poses. My head was full of thoughts and I was distracted and uncomfortable. In just 3 months Steve and Gary took me from 0 to doing the full Ashtanga primary series while relaxed and focused. Besides all of the poses I can now do (lotus, handstand, headstand, and a lot more), I leave each class feeling amazing. My body and mind feel dramatically better all throughout the day. This dramatic improvement would have been impossible without their dedicated guidance and effort.I don’t think I could have asked for a better experience. The music and vibe of the place is also amazing. Thanks so much Gary and Steve!“
“I found Sam through a friend's referral. I had a wonderful massage. Sam is very knowledgeable and caring. He spends time getting you know you and your needs. I highly recomend Sam.“
