“Sid is GREAT! My dog Poppy has had daycare with Sid 2-3 days a week for 3 years and occasionally overnight boarding. It is wonderful to see how Poppy lights up when she sees Sid, and I always feel she is in great hands, safe and active with playmates in a small group setting. Sid is conscientious, organized and in a terrific location. Highly recommend!“

“Paul is an excellent and experienced trainer, kind person, and knows an incredible amount of about dogs. He taught us so much, both during our sessions and after with follow up content. He was great with our fearful and reactive dog, taking the time to build her confidence, and teaching me what to do, how and when to do it. She also stayed with him for a week or so while we were away and did very well. We plan to continue working with Paul and trust him completely!“

Top Dog SF Pet Boarding Training

“We honestly do not know how we would have shaped Millie without Top Dog. We needed a safe and reliable place to socialize and train our puppy while keeping up with busy work schedules. After calling and touring various programs in the city, we left Top Dog feeling confident that Millie would be happy, safe, and learning. We enrolled her in Puppy Head Start, and it was a decision we never looked back on.

Throughout the program, Mike and team kept us closely updated on Millie's progress. We received frequent photos and videos that showed what she was practicing and how we could reinforce those skills at home. Mike is patient, kind, passionate, and knowledgeable. He helped us work through several tricky situations, especially around Millie's fears, and always gave us practical steps that worked. Raina and Michelle were also wonderful with Millie. They were warm and encouraging.

Millie is thrilled to go to Top Dog every time. She walks in with a happy, wagging tail, which tells us everything about how she is treated there. Top Dog has given us a well-supported start as new dog parents, and Millie absolutely loves it!“

Dogpile Dogs Pet Boarding Training

“DogPile Dogs is the absolute best! Nylah seriously loves this place—she gets so excited every time we come, and when I pick her up she’s always happy and tired from a full day of play. The space is huge, so dogs actually get to run around and just be dogs.

The family that runs it clearly cares so much, and it really shows. Plus, they post on Instagram so you can check in and see your dog having the best time, which I love.

It’s not easy to find a place you can fully trust with your dog, but DogPile Dogs makes it easy. Couldn’t recommend them more for daycare or boarding!“

“I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Dogra and his clinic. My experience with them was nothing short of great. Dr. Dogra and his staff made me feel welcomed and at ease from the moment I walked in. He took the time to listen to my concerns about Leia, my German Shepherd and conducted a thorough examination with care and precision. His knowledge and experience were evident as he explained the diagnosis and treatment plan in detail, ensuring I understood every step of the process. One aspect that particularly impressed me was Dr. Dogra's attention to detail and professionalism. He provided all the necessary notes for my dog's insurance claim, making the process seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr. Dogra to anyone in need of a veterinarian who provides exceptional care with compassion and expertise. Thank you, for your commitment to the health and happiness of our furry friends!“

“Brought my new scared rescue pup in for treatment and the staff are all very sweet and patient with her and me! Bright new office with lots of space to even sit in a little semi private alcove if you need a little extra distance. Parking can be a little tricky, but I found I can park in the United grocery parking lot and it’s a short easy walk inside to the vet. No worries!“

“Our goldendoodle was a very stubborn guy. We tried several training programs, which all helped a little, but Isabel at Spectrum Canine helped us train Otis so well that he is now a certified therapy dog! We just had our first solo volunteer day as a canine companion pair and he did so well! He is an amazing family dog - kind, sweet, playful and a good listener. Thank you Isabel and Spectrum Canine.“

“GDB does a great job raising and taking care of dogs. As a care provider they take appts for their dogs and the vet team does a great job monitoring the dog's history. Just brought dog in to take care of allergy and itch related issue and picked up monthly heartguard medicine, weighed, nails clipped and got some antibacterial soap and mint toothpaste. We're ready for the weekend“

“Reynaldo and his assistants are great. Mudpuppy over in Castro was refusing to style-cut my 17yo toy poodle, claiming it "stresses her out." Reynaldo is a dog whisperer and seems to have a great bond with dogs. He's able to do the French poodle cut with no problem, so I started coming here. The price here is also a bit cheaper than MP, which is nice. The best part about coming here? You get to hang out for a bit with a dozen other well-behaved, sweet dogs. I kind of want to ask him if it's cool that I buy coffee and hang out here to do work. You know how there's cat cafes? This place is like the dog cafe version of that!“

“We sought out DPT out of desperation with our handful of an overly protective Weimaraner when he was about 2 years old. Until this point we did “treat based positive reinforcement training.” Dan worked with us, we did the camp, the zoom meetings, the regular weekend homework and “graduated” in about 5 weeks. Dan has continued to be a “fine tuner” of support when our dog would push our buttons. Dan has continued to be a great resource with our questions and support. We are proud to say, we kept our dog, have fun playing frisbee with him regularly, he doesn’t rule our house anymore and he stayed by my side today when I told him “leave it” when there were three coyotes coming towards us this morning. (My boy stood by my side this morning and let the coyotes be….. while a different neighbor dog ran the coyotes away). Thank you Dan camp!!!“

“I have used Karma both previously in Texas and now in the bay area. I have a leash reactive Labrador and was paired with Viviane. Viviane was so excellent and within three sessions my dog was more calm, more responsive, and happier in high stress situations. Viviane did a great job training me as well to better communicate with my dog. She was great, she met me first at my home in San Francisco, and then we met in the middle in San Mateo. Karma and Viviane provide after action reports and items to practice in between sessions.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“Infinity stars! Shelah has been an absolute life-saver for my dog Eleanor, who underwent double TPLO surgery on both hind legs due to tearing her CCL (canine cruciate ligament) in each knee. Although her right knee healed up well with just the basic after-care from our surgeon, Ellie's left knee had much worse damage prior to surgery and was much slower to heal as a result. For reference, she was fully weight-bearing and walking normally on the right leg prior to surgery, but was 100% non-weight bearing on her left going into surgery. So although the left leg surgery was successful and she was weight bearing a few days afterwards, she was still favoring the leg and showing lots of lameness from activity, even many months after her bone healed from the TPLO. My regular vet and even Sam's clinic were less than helpful as far as providing a rehab program to follow. They also still will not see clients in person due to covid, meaning they could only talk to me on the phone and send me videos of the exercises I was supposed to be doing with my dog. So although I was following their program and advice to a T, Ellie kept having setback after setback and didn't seem to be improving. Even with very light activity, she would still hold her leg up sometimes and not want to put weight on it. I felt lost and that my pup might never be able to run or hike off-leash ever again. Enter Shelah - she comes by in person and is an absolute wizard at reading Ellie's (and my) body language. She designed a custom exercise/physical therapy program for us and also was able to train ME on how to train Elle to do the exercises properly. I actually work with dogs for a living (I'm a dog walker) and am well versed in training methods, but training a dog to execute specific physical therapy exercises is a totally different ballgame. Shelah is able to watch me work with Ellie, and give me simple pointers/instructions in order to get optimal results with each training session. We had to start from square one with really basic exercises, as the ones given to me by Sam's clinic were (to my surprise!) far too advanced. But, with consistent work we've been able to get Ellie's leg much stronger, to where she can finally hike and run off leash without lameness afterwards. It makes me tear up to have made this breakthrough and for Ellie to finally have her quality of life back, after almost two years going through surgeries and rehab. I cannot say enough positive things about Shelah. She is clearly an expert and has a wealth of knowledge, but is also just a phenomenal human being and clearly cares deeply about each dog (and human) she works with. She is always available to help with any questions that pop up, or snags that we run into along the way. I shudder to think where Ellie and I would be without Shelah. I can't recommend her highly enough!“
