“We brought our Maltipoo puppy Reuben to Top Dog for their puppy head start program and have to say it’s the best decision we have made since getting him! We were worried about not being able to socialize him before he’s fully vaccinated for Parvo, as well as having time during the workday to make sure we’re also giving him the attention he deserves at such a young age.Not only was he really well socialized in a clean, safe environment but every day he would come home more obedient and with new tricks to show us (not to mention super tired which made for happy parents). The staff there are also super kind and informative, and Reuben loves them. We saw another review before we started him that joked that their puppy would leap out of their arms when they dropped him off and that’s exactly what Reuben does too now.We plan to continue with Top Dog’s additional programs - they really are the best at what they do. Highly recommend!“

“My dog has been going here for years. It is a big part of our lives. He’s so comfortable here and is always happy to arrive. He loves the whole family, as do I. I truly feel that they all take such good care of him and all of the dogs that go here. He has his best sleeps, after a day/night of being here. I HIGHLY recommend this place.“

“I have known the owner for James for over 20 years and he is a genuinely astounding, altruistic and warm hearted person. The same can be said about his business Prime Paw. I come to him and only him for any advice or training for my lil boy Bronx. This is also exemplified once you walk thru the doors. Without a doubt, the most nurturing and patient environment you can have for your dog and unlock their potential.“

“Jeff helped us so much! We adopted our dog, Ted, from the SPCA in June, and he was very fearful. He was afraid of going on walks, he wouldn't let us put collars, harnesses, or leashes on him, he would bark like crazy if we had any guests come into our apartment, and he wasn't housetrained. We had one zoom session and 3 in-person sessions with Jeff, and now Ted is about 98% housetrained, has no problem with guests, and he loves walks! He used to hide, growl, and snap when we tried to put the leash on him, and we weren't able to walk him at all for the first two months we had him, but now he actually gets excited when we get the leash out! Jeff gave us excellent advice throughout the whole process and we couldn't have done it without him.“

“Mike is fantastic! He works with our 1.5yr black GSD who is beyond energetic and a little psycho with strangers. The first time they met, she kept barking at him and he was completely unphased. He knew exactly how to handle and behave around her to get her more comfortable. The first 2 times he picked her up, she was a little wary. However, by the third time she knew what was up and looked forward to going with him. We love Mike because he took his time to talk to us and the patience he showed Nezzy. Not only does his walks help with her energy management, but she has also become so much better overall. At the park, her recall has improved significantly. On the walks, she's not as reactive anymore. Mike is hard working, no nonsense, and dedicated to his craft.“

“Our dog Abby is almost 14 years old. She started walking with Janet about 13 years ago. She usually walks 2 days a week. Janet is pretty flexible, some weeks it might be 3 days, other weeks it might be 1. On the days that Janet doesn’t take Abby, we usually walk her. When we retired, we thought that we would walk Abby every day. We realized that Abby missed Janet. When Janet comes to pick her up, Abby goes crazy. She hears her van and starts running around all excited, even after all these years. It’s also nice that Janet drives an air conditioned van where each dog has their own crate. The only one that is happier with this relationship then we are is Abby. We would highly recommend Doggie Business,“

“Just wanted to update to emphasize how wonderful, patient, and flexible they are! Our dog has had a couple of medical things come up, and we had to cancel some trips. Lucky Paws was super compassionate and understanding and willing to work with us to see if we could make things work. 100% recommend their business! They care about you as a client.“

“We've never done any type of dog training, but we were having a hard time with our puppy's high energy and never-ending biting. Youtube videos were helpful, but not cutting it. I found Sirius online through an article that recommended it as #1 best. It felt like a little bit of a leap of faith since there wasn't much info I could find and they are doing online classes now due to the pandemic. But, we were desperate and I wanted to be able to progress with my training and interact with a trainer that I could ask questions to. I had read the reviews on yelp recommending Leanne, so we signed up for Puppy I class. Within the first class we felt like we learned so much! Having the classes through zoom was actually great because there were less distractions for our puppy and we could more easily fit it into our weekend schedule without any commute time or hassle. Leanne was so welcoming, friendly, and funny. We loved the classes and saw the benefits early on of working with our puppy that we signed up for Puppy II and completed that also. I love Leanne's positive reinforcement approach which was exactly what we were looking for. Our puppy has responded really well to the approach and we feel confident in our training and I actually look forward to it. We can now communicate with our puppy which is extremely helpful. We've now completed the 10-weeks between Puppy I and Puppy II. I find myself missing it every week because I actually had so much fun doing it and learning also. I might sign up for some of their other classes to learn more tricks later on. Looking back, we can see that the training classes with Leanne were the turning point for where we were thinking, "Uh oh, what did we do getting this puppy? Did we make a mistake?" to "We love our puppy and she's so smart". Leanne was the best trainer we could have imagined for us. She went above and beyond to answer questions both in and out of class, does great demonstrating the training "games", provides explanations that explain that rationale behind the training techniques, and you can tell she knows what she is doing. Having other puppies around the same age was helpful to learn from the other dog owner's as well when they asked questions/had similar struggles. Also having a live trainer providing feedback and offering suggestions when she sees how your dog is responding is priceless. You don't get that from dog training videos online. We definitely found that having live training was worth every penny and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Sirius for the amazing training!“

“We used Michael when we brought home our 8 week old Golden Retriever. The classes were 1 on 1 Zoom calls during COVID 19 and the results were no less effective than in person. We got our pup started off on the right foot thanks to Michael and was able to stop unwanted nipping/biting, get basic obedience commands down, and also speak with Michael about our new daily routine with the dog which helped us so much. Would recommended Michael“

“The best of the best. Hands down. It has been 2 years since I moved away from SF, and GGDS is one of the things I miss most. The instructors are exceptional - knowledgeable, patient, supportive. Overall we spent about 9 months here before we moved away. They taught us so much about handling and teamwork, and they helped build my pup's confidence. My pup is timid, but when we first started agility, it's like we unlocked his talent. He flourished. Seeing your fur kid learn and grow and having a blast is the best feeling. We still do agility for fun and he's a little superstar in my eyes. The agility foundation that you learn here is amazing. The option to rent the facility to practice is fantastic. Prices are so reasonable. Whether you are just starting out and have no idea if your dog will like agility or if you have some experience under your belt, I cannot speak more highly of GGDS and the instructors.“

“Our sessions with Cyd were truly transforming for us and our dog, Mochi. She taught us not only the “what” of training but the “why” behind why dogs do things which was really helpful in fine tuning her strategies to fit our family and Mochi. We went into our sessions wanting to master recall and got that and so much more out of it! Highly recommend Cyd as she’s incredibly patient, empathetic to the dog and people and so knowledgeable.“

“I really can't say enough good things about Dan Perata Training. My large, young, and very excitable pittie was becoming more than I could safely handle. She jumped - constantly knocking me and my other pittie over, she was very mouthy and super stubborn, but the biggest issue was that she was totally out of control on a walk. It was feeling like it was just a matter of time before something dangerous would happen on a walk. So, I researched a bunch of dog training facilities and this one is HANDS DOWN, the best out there. Others would take a dog for a month or two and just hand you back the dog at the end of that time. Dan Perata Training was the ONLY one that works with the owner too. The home on weekends approach is a great, not just because I missed my pup but also because we could work together on what she and I were learning. Additionally, what you pay is what you pay. You can continue to take classes with your dog and it's never going to cost you a penny more. These guys are really invested in your success. The last big plus point is the people. Dan and Natasha run a great business and it's super apparent they are here for the dogs and their people. Dan is truly a dog whisper and Natasha takes a really caring approach to running this business. The trainers are amazing. Luna and I have mostly worked with Josh and he's great! I just can't say enough good things about him and JV. They are so knowledgeable and are great at imparting their wealth of knowledge. They are patient and work individually with clients to tailor the program to meet each dog/person's needs. Luna has completed the initial 4 weeks of camp and is a different dog. She's so much calmer. She jumps far less and is so much less mouthy but the big thing is that I can safely walk her. We still have a ways to go but camp was a really great start. We're still attending lessons, working on long line training so I can hike with her and are working on her manners even more. I'll be honest, we're probably looking at most of this year continuing with lessons and the team encourages that - its one of the reasons why Dan Perata's approach is so great. I'm stymied by the few less than stellar reviews here. Most of them seem to be from folks who didn't actually hire Dan Perata Training. Here's the thing - this training is a commitment. Dan Perata is not interested in "fixing" your dog and handing him/her back to you. They are interested in helping your dog understand how to behave well and helping you learn to be a good and responsible leader for your dog. If you're not willing to put the work in, this isn't the place for you. But if you are, there is not a better place to help you develop a great relationship with your dog that allows to them to be confident, happy, and well behaved.“

“Excellent dog day care. The staff really care and are super knowledge about dog behavior. They are patient, personable, and responsive. I am a first time puppy owner and needed a day care I could trust that was clean, responsive, playful and educational for my pup. I researched four different companies and hands-down Petcamp is the best. Highly recommend! Big thank you to Jason, Lennon, and Mike! 7/24, had knee surgery last week- opted into the PetCamp Shuttle! Wow. On time, responsive, and personable. So glad PetCamp exists!!“
