“Eliza and team did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding - I hired Eliza and team to do my hair and makeup along with my mother, mother in law, sister and sister and law. As someone who doesn't tend to wear a lot of makeup regularly, I was a bit nervous about not looking like myself. “Ana has been my hairstylist for about 10 years. She is very skilled and confident in what she does. I personally like that she has an artistic eye and will suggest what haircut or haircolor looks better on you upon request. Her tasteful choice of music playing in the background adds to the general ambiance. Her salon is conveniently located in the vibrant Mission street neighborhood and is easily accessible by BART (get off at Mission/ 16th and walk for 10 min). I have long thick, but fine hair and I color it medium brown. The haircuts I get with Ana are easy to maintain and does not require a lot of styling. I wash it and blow dry and it looks gret. I don't live in San Francisco, but continue to make time to return to Heartzilla, because Ana truly is a rare find!“

Jen was flexible and came to my apartment so I was comfortable during our time together. She was personable with me and my family and made me feel and look beautiful. I sent a few photos of what I wanted and she nailed the hair and makeup look I was going for, and then some. I got natural makeup with airbrush and a low chignon so that I could look like me but still special for my big day. I got so many compliments and the best part is that my hair and makeup lasted from 10 AM - 11 PM with only lipstick touch ups! “I walked into Marin Essential Salon without an appointment, crossed my fingers and asked if anyone could color and trim my hair. I haven't done anything with my hair since before COVID so my 'natural' color was gray, blonde and lots of dark brown in the back. I asked Issam to give me all gray hair. Well, he did an amazing job and my hair looks great again. In the sun it looks blonde but if you take a closer look it is actually gray with only a few blonde streaks and it looks natural. If I get a little more adventurous I may add some silver streaks and know who I will go to for help! I appreciate you squeezing me into your busy day and making me feel like family, Issam!
