“Tamra did makeup for my headshots, which were long overdue. I was very nervous going into it since I do not wear alot of makeup and I am generally camera shy. She asked for inspo images on what look I wanted to achieve and she nailed it on the day of. When I got home after the photoshoot, my partner's jaw dropped to the floor and I just recently got a glimpse of the unedited images from the shoot and my partner didn't even know it was me when I showed him the images! It is a bit difficult to find someone who has experience in working with different skin tones so I am so happy I found Tamra. Not only is she an expert in her craft but she is also wanting her client to be happy with the results. Tamra should be a part of everyone's glam squad!“

“Pheakdey is amazing. I've followed her from a previous salon in Oakland (where I live) to her studio at Sola in El Cerrito. Although she used to be located 2 blocks from me, the distance won't stop me from using her for all of my hair care needs! It's hard to find a hair stylist that you trust. She dyes my roots every 7 weeks and cuts my hair every 14 weeks. She knows exactly what I like and I always leave extremely satisfied. She's also done eyelash extensions for me that last for a long time, and the experience was very peaceful and relaxing compared to other places. Not only is she highly skilled, but she's a pleasure to talk to and I always look forward to spending time with her. She is the sweetest and has such a good heart. I highly recommend Pheakdey for hair care and eyelash extensions!“

Kathleena has a gifted eye for highlighting natural beauty; I never felt like my hair or makeup was hiding the real me.While preparing for my wedding, I had a few cuts and one deep conditioning with Kathleena. For my fellow introverts, you'll be happy know that Kathleena is largely silent while cutting/styling hair, as she gets into a "zone" and is fully focused on her work. Not only is she incredibly professional and knowledgeable on her craft but she saw my 30 inch long mixed chick hair and knew exactly what to do with it after speaking with me for a few minutes and even better, she has a plan going forward to get my tresses to where I want them. She will treat your hair like a canvas and she is truly an Artist. I want her to be my stylist until she retires. Let me tell you, I got compliments EVERYWHERE!
