I have been going to her for hair cuts/color/styling for several years now, and I love her so much I hired for her my wedding to do my hair and make-up, my mom's, my mother in law, and all 8 of my bridesmaids. She did a hair and make-up trial for both me and my mom prior to the wedding and she made it such a fun day - she's SO easy to five feedback to and has such a talent for making your vision come true, she really listens to what you want and what you care about. Come wedding day, she brought 3 of her incredibly talented fellow hair and make-up artists to work with everyone and they did a phenomenal job. Everyone looked beautiful and most importantly - still looked like themselves. Naomi was easy to work with, incredibly fair with pricing, and was a big factor in making my wedding day as amazing as it was. “Tamra did makeup for my headshots, which were long overdue. I was very nervous going into it since I do not wear alot of makeup and I am generally camera shy. She asked for inspo images on what look I wanted to achieve and she nailed it on the day of. When I got home after the photoshoot, my partner's jaw dropped to the floor and I just recently got a glimpse of the unedited images from the shoot and my partner didn't even know it was me when I showed him the images! It is a bit difficult to find someone who has experience in working with different skin tones so I am so happy I found Tamra. Not only is she an expert in her craft but she is also wanting her client to be happy with the results. Tamra should be a part of everyone's glam squad!“

“OBSESSED with my new brows! I booked with Jessica for powder brows. I’ve never gotten my brows done before, so I was nervous for how they’d come out, but I’m so glad I trusted Jessica! As you can see in my before photo, I had very sparse brows with uneven shaping, but now my brows are perfect! “Pheakdey is amazing. I've followed her from a previous salon in Oakland (where I live) to her studio at Sola in El Cerrito. Although she used to be located 2 blocks from me, the distance won't stop me from using her for all of my hair care needs! It's hard to find a hair stylist that you trust. She dyes my roots every 7 weeks and cuts my hair every 14 weeks. She knows exactly what I like and I always leave extremely satisfied. She's also done eyelash extensions for me that last for a long time, and the experience was very peaceful and relaxing compared to other places. Not only is she highly skilled, but she's a pleasure to talk to and I always look forward to spending time with her. She is the sweetest and has such a good heart. I highly recommend Pheakdey for hair care and eyelash extensions!“

“Kathleena is a gem! I hired her for hair and makeup on my wedding day and was so happy to find someone who was so intuitive, skilled, and committed to using non-toxic products. I felt exactly how I wanted to feel on my special day -- confident, beautiful, and just a slightly "elevated" version of myself. Kathleena has a gifted eye for highlighting natural beauty; I never felt like my hair or makeup was hiding the real me.While preparing for my wedding, I had a few cuts and one deep conditioning with Kathleena. For my fellow introverts, you'll be happy know that Kathleena is largely silent while cutting/styling hair, as she gets into a "zone" and is fully focused on her work. While she's a delight to talk to geneally, I am grateful for a quieter hair-cutting experience -- as a highly sensitive person, I've often felt overstimulated by past salon experiencesm which tended to include lots of music and talking (sadly often in the form of gossiping or complaining). Her salon is beautiful and her products are all very natural, meaning no noxious fumes!I am happy to have found such a wonderful stylist (and human!) and look returning to Kathleena for hair and makeup services in the years to come.“
