I decided to treat myself to a makeup lesson and was recommended by another popular makeup artist in the Bay Area to work with Christina! This was the best investment I made for myself all year. She is the best of the best and far exceeded my expectations.I've done makeup lessons before but she is like the makeup instructor to makeup instructors. What I love about her is that she is obsessed about her craft and it totally shows. I cannot say enough about how amazing Christina is. I found her via recommendation from another makeup artist who no longer travels to weddings, and I knew she was the one when I heard k-pop playing in her studio. I booked her for hair and makeup for an engagement session, bridal trial, wedding, and second reception. Her studio is in San Francisco, which I traveled to for all our sessions except for our wedding, in which she came to my parents' home in San Jose.Christina made me feel at ease and really gave me the look I was going for (Korean actress haha!). Christina came by recommendation of a peer and I booked her immediately for my city hall elopement. Working with her was by far one of the easiest, funnest and best parts of wedding planning. The three hour session felt akin to meeting a new friend - someone you can trust, confide in and share fun and witty banter with. She made me feel relaxed in an experience that has otherwise been stressful. Aside from her talent, the biggest plus is that she responds quickly which really spoke miles to me about the credibility of her services.
