I was recommended by a friend to give Uy a try. I've been to local barbershops, Vietnamese salons, Supercuts, and none have really given me a reason to stay. Uy is different. I've been following him around for a few years now and he's finally at this location long enough for me to write a review. He listens to what I want/like but also suggest other options that may be more suitable. I trust him enough to where my haircut is whatever he feels like doing that day. From timeless fades to trendy korean perms, he's done it all for me. I know the location of this shop isn't optimal and can get busy sometimes. Parking lot is in the back across the street from the library, so you don't necessarily have to look for street parking.
Ms. Tracy Nguyen is very dedicated, her teaching is clear and practical. After the course, I feel much more confident applying it to my work.

I had a wonderful experience at JN Nails! Ngoc made me feel completely pampered and relaxed throughout my visit. She was incredibly sweet and patient, making sure I was comfortable the entire time.
The shop is clean, cozy, and well-decorated. I love how cute the space is! Plus, their prices are very reasonable, especially considering the excellent service. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends!

I highly recommend SWAGS Plumbing and Rooter. We had a sink drain problem and contacted them, and even though it was a Sunday morning, they promptly called and scheduled someone to come out that same morning. Hair type: My hair is thinning with age and is curly and can be frizzy. Danielle got it right the first time. She covers my roots, uses great organic products, and trims and shapes hair as needed. She is professional, yet personable, and makes you feel that you are her top priority. Danielle knows hair and will not disappoint in any service that you need - highly recommend her!

I was in need of a new hairstylist as my hairstylist moved away and came across Rodem Hair Studio on Sola Salons. I asked for a butterfly cut and a trim to touch up my layers and Audrey blew me away. She was careful and diligent. She has 6 years of hair cutting experience and is knowledgeable of Korean hair trends and contemporary hairstyles. She offers men and women haircuts and a variety of perms. The studio is #20 and she texted me directions on how to locate the salon and where to park which I appreciated. I asked Audrey how she came up with the name for her hair studio and she said she drew inspiration from the rodem tree from the Bible and she aims to help her clients feel refreshed from their difficult lives. I definitely felt brand new after my cut. I would come here again! No tipping allowed which is nice!
Wow!!!! My daughter was visiting me for a few days and wanted to get a haircut. As a single dad I had no clue where to take her. Came across Bellarmine Salon conveniently near by and the reviews, esp for Lana were all amazing. It was very easy to book an appointment online and I can't tell you how happy my daughter was with the results. The reviews of Lana are all spot on!!! She's an amazing stylist and super nice person too!! My daughter really liked talking with Lana and plans to tell all her friends. It's a very nice and non pretentious salon with fair prices. I highly recommend!!!

Another great haircut from Nana, a warm and welcoming lady. I came in for eye brow threading by Arabelle and was so satisfied that I stayed to chat with Nana. Busy as she was, she squeezed me in for a hair wash, cut and style. All very reasonably priced. Arabelle was professional, walked me step by step, together we came up with a plan and executed. She even suggested a better color for filing and options for training my eyebrows into place. I really enjoy visiting this place. It's a relaxing, uplifting atmosphere.
This is a shout out for Janne and Amy! My go-to hair stylist relocated, a bit too far from my area. So I had to search through all of Yelp to find another salon that can handle my hair. I had the pleasure of booking a hair appointment with Janne back in Dec and she did me a huge favor by chopping off a lot of my highlighted hair I did three years ago. I have such thick, long hair so the inches off was needed and all of my friends loved it! She really knew my hair and I would happily go back to her. Major props to Amy for dealing with all the appointment changes due to many conflicts in my schedule. I brought in my sister today since we'll be going to vacation next week and like me, she has thick and long hair. The previous stylists I took her to didn't really layered her hair the way I wanted because it was still too heavy for my liking and charged me for $$$. I was highly satisfied with how it look and how it felt at the end of the appointment.
I found this shop for my fiancé as she was looking for her hair to get braided. Natalie was very responsive and even recommended a spot for my fiancé to get some hair to add to her braids. Lily saved my butchered hair!! I got my hair done in Tokyo which was a mistake. My hair streaks were chunky and fringe was horrendously light. I looked like I came out from the 90s with a bad hairdo. I was lucky Lily had an opening in her schedule for me so suddenly, and she fixed my hair and made it look gorgeous. I thought it was too difficult to fix but she fixed it with ease. I am forever grateful to her and Rosaline!
One of the best salon experiences I've had and truly the best sew-in hands down! I'm usually very tender headed but I've never experienced any pain getting my hair done with Capri. She is super friendly and works extremely fast but does amazing work! I highly recommend booking with her if you're in the area and looking for a stylist.
Cheyenne is an amazing stylist to work with! She listened to what I was hoping for and definitely went above and beyond. I treated myself for my Birthday and she made it such a nice relaxing time there. We also put highlights in my hair and I previously dyed my hair black which a-lot of us know it needs to be lightened over time. She gave me realistic expectations and it was exactly what I was looking for and more. My sister and my mom both loved my hair they both went to see her for a cut/blow out within the two weeks after me. She treated us so well! I am a little late writing this review but I recently got a curly cut by Rachael (@divine_duran on Instagram) and she was amazing! She asked me all sorts of questions to make sure he gave me the exact cut I wanted. I am always a little nervous going to a new hair salon but my friend (who has straight hair) previously went to Rachael and loved her hair so I knew I had to go to her! It's hard finding a hair stylist who cuts and cares for curly hair as good as Rachael did! She is so kind and caring. Please consider her for your next hair appointment!

My teen son went for a haircut for the first time here and came out happy! He's had bad experiences in the past at other places and was nervous of the results because they never end up giving him the look he actually wants. His barber was Efren he did a great job! Listened to what he wanted and gave details of what he was doing and kept a good convo going as well, overall good vibes! Definitely recommend and will be going here with Efren from now on!
It’s been about three weeks since I last got my haircut from Jolan at Mysterioux, and I couldn’t be more impressed. His attention to detail is amazing, and he’s very meticulous about his work.
I walked in with about 6 inches of hair, the longest it’s ever been, and I had little to no direction with what I wanted. I told him I was familiar with fades, but he suggested going with a taper instead, which I’m incredibly happy that I went with. The past three weeks are the best my hairs ever been, and I owe it to Jolan’s knowledge about hair care.
I can rest assured knowing that I have a reliable barber in SJ now.

A great place to get a haircut. Tom and Rick are old school barbers that remind me of the barbers of my youth. Always a quality cut and beard trim and they're both good guys to talk to. And they always ask if I want my eyebrows trimmed--something an old guy appreciates.
I did a walk in for my son who has autism. I was nervous to go in because a lot of barbers don’t like to do kids haircuts let alone a child with special needs. I’m so happy I just took the chance because I was able to meet Vega he was extremely nice and patient with my son he is very friendly as well. Throughout the whole time he was following my son’s lead, taking his time, letting my son have little breaks. It truly meant a lot to me to find someone who would make my sons experience a great one and Vega did exactly that. Also a side note everyone in the shop seemed nice and they didn’t seem to be bothered my son when he would get a little loud from certain spots in the haircut that are sensitive for him. Overall this shop is great and I’m glad I found my son a new barber!

I’m a proponent of supporting local businesses and had my share of good and so-so experiences.I was in the vicinity of Vanidades and decided to check out the place and maybe set up an appointment. Surprisingly, I was taken in right there and then. Thanks to Elizabeth, whose warm smiles make me feel welcome. The hair business maybe competitive but Vanidades gave me a feeling of belonging which I didn’t experience from past barber shops. It makes this place stand out among others I’ve been to because of that. I felt I was among friends spending a lazy afternoon.Martin did an excellent job cutting my hair. Suzy has been my main barber for about six years now. I've never had a bad cut, and I find myself going from Palo Alto down to downtown San Jose just so I can keep the fresh cut and signature look of mine. Suzy is incredibly friendly and the tight-knit community of downtown San Jose all go to her. If I could give her 10 stars I would! The atmosphere is family friendly and I believe she does haircuts for all ages.

Great place and great experience! I haven't been to a tanning salon in decades and wanted to be prepared for an event I'm going to this weekend. This was the closest tanning salon to me that was open on Sundays and it did not disappoint. No appointment needed. Just walked in and the young lady at the front desk, Chloe, helped me figure out what was best for me and my goals. She told me about all the services they offered but was not pushy at all. I appreciated the information. The facility was clean and up to date. I was impressed. If I need a tan again I'll definitely return here again!
All the employees are friendly and helpful, the beds and rooms are clean, and they've always been helpful when it comes to promos and membership info. I came from the San Ramon location and started going to the Camden salon after I moved to SJ. Definitely more spacious and more beds here!

I've been coming to Today Nails for a long time. The reason I chose to stick around all these years is because the atmosphere is very awesome. It's a tiny studio, but very intimate, which makes you feel very welcoming & comfortable like if you're in your own home. Plus I was so impressed how she remembered my name after my first appointment, which showed me that she actually cares about her customers. I always come for the pedi & manicures, whether it's for full color, French tip, designs, or bedazzled, Yen always does an amazing job leaving me very satisfied. Her sister Vivian does an amazing job as well on my feet. She is very gentle and makes me not want her to stop especially When she is massaging my feet and legs, and the massage chair is a bonus. Both women are amazing at what they do. Also, Yen doesn't just do nails, she's multi talented. she also does waxing, threading, lashes, and tattoo brows. Which I see many women come in for those service. I honestly kind of want to be selfish and gate-keep this place, but I know everyone deserves to feel & look good in a comfortable setting so I will share Yen with you all.
Mimi is an expert in her field. Brought my 3 daughters (13, 11, & 7) with me for trims. While working Mimi asks the appropriate questions about daily routines and gives advice on simple changes to improve hair health and less tangling. There is no sales pitch to buy products from her business. All the advice included items we purchased elsewhere. If you are looking for a posh shop to gossip and hang out this is not the place. If you are looking for an expert stylist who will help you get the results you are looking for then this is it! Pricing was extremely reasonable. I was clear on what services I wanted since I was getting 4 heads of hair trimmed and did not want to spend a fortune. There was no surprises, the bill was exactly as quoted. My daughters loved her suggestions and can't believe how easy it was to get less tangles.

Ana is the best, I am a chronic picker of nail polish but she paints with perfection so there is nothing to pick. My nails have never been so healthy!
The place is very clean and they always give you water which is nice.
Some of the girls doing pedicures could improve their polish skills haha sometimes they are so messy, but I’m there for the relaxation and overall it’s wonderful.
Honestly this is such a gem of a solid nail place. The prices are fair. The interior is clean and all the staff are great! Today Hue has done one of the best gel polishes on me yet and I forget why I stopped coming here more frequently.

Tessa is professional and does a great job with my lashes and eyebrows. I've gotten my eyebrows done twice (ombre powder brows+ 1 touch up) over the past couple of years and they've held up really well. The ombre powder method is much more natural looking than micro blading and I'm glad I went with this method for my brows. As for lashes I am happy with the service every time, she knows what I want and executes it perfectly. I recommend giving this studio a try!

I've been seeing Eileen and Darlene for 5 years now for the supercharged hifu facial. It works! I often get compliments on my skin and have far less wrinkles and sagging than others. A lady I just ran into walking my dog said "I remember you because of your beautiful skin." I used to have very puffy eyes. They are significantly less puffy

I've been going to Iris for 3 years now, and I don't know how I am just now leaving a review. I first went to her with a sole service in mind (eyebrow waxing) but since then have received numerous services from here varying from facials, under eye/underarm brightening, leg waxing, and have had milia spots removed as well. She truly cares for her clients and wants them to feel confident and be happy with their end results (just make sure you also follow through in applying the tips and tricks she recommends) . If you simply have a question just ask, she's very knowledgeable on different services.

I always get the same treatment(triple combo A: Microderm + Picoton + IPL), but I get blown away by the result on my face after every treatment! Found Honey + Pine through a google search and was able to easily make an appointment online for the very next day. Cat followed up the next morning with a detailed text about how to find the building and where to park - which was so helpful! I haven't had any professional eyebrow treatments in over 3 years and just wanted to start with a general cleanup. I have thick natural brows and Cat was able to create a neat and tidy version of my natural shape. The salon was super clean and Cat was lovely to chat with as well as very efficient. I have been getting hydrafacial and collagen 90 with Amy for years. I recently started a package cycle of the Keravive scalp treatment with Amy, and after just one month, I can already feel the difference. My scalp feels so much healthier and cleaner. This review is long overdue. I've been going to Diana for my lashes for 5 years. The first time I went in to get my lashes done I was nervous but I was not disappointed. Her studio is so inviting and she makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. She's patient and listened to what I wanted and is always accommodating, especially when I have last minute scheduling conflicts. She even puts up with my snoring when I fall asleep! I'm so glad I was referred to her and wish her nothing but the best.

I've been going to Lulu for over 10 years. She is the best of the best when it comes to lash extensions. She's efficient and attention to detail. I'll get stopped by random people sometimes who ask me if she did my eyelashes because how how good she is. She's clean and the lash studio is cute and comfy.
Hannah did an amazing job on my lashes. The retention has been great! So far, the longest lasting lashes I've had. She was also very informative of how to care for them. They're fluffy and lightweight, absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend.
The service was superb. The lash technician was skillful; the first time I did not experience burning sensation during and after the job in my history of getting lashes done. Ambiance was relaxing. Taking out one star for the quality of the eye lashes that I had wished to be more natural instead of glossy looking. Also four lash extensions fell on the first 2 days post service.
Service was very quick. I waited for my girlfriend patiently. They attended to her very fast and one thing I enjoyed is whenever we go to a nail salon for a pedicure or manicure you hear a lot of unknown language. Got my first tattoo ever with the help from Taylor and I'm very satisfied with my experience! I was a bit worried at first but Taylor's very friendly and walked me through the whole process from stencil placement to aftercare instructions. She took time to listen to what I want and quickly sketched up a design. Since I requested a small one, it only too one session to complete. The work station is clean and well-organized. It was less painful than I imagined and Taylor's very professional and gentle. Overall super happy with the result and glad to have chose Taylor to be my first tattoo artist!

After a few conversations, I went to the shop for a consultation. The shop is immaculate and smells good. There is beautiful artwork from local artists on the walls. I met with Dat, and he made me feel very comfortable. He's super chill and professional. He is funny, too. We reviewed ideas for my tattoo, and he was honest about the expectations. I decided to work with Dat and am happy with my decision. My tattoo came out better than expected. You have to trust him and the process. I called Superior Plumbing for second floor shower leaking down into lower level laundry room. They came out same day. After I told them the shower faucet fixture/cartridge and bathtub spout had been replaced by another company. They determined the drain pipe was the problem, cut a hole in ceiling and verified the drain leak. The plumbers Flavio and Erasmo came back the next morning with the required parts and did an excellent job repairing the drain and pipes despite difficult access. They completed the repair and cleaned area. I recommend them and this company.
We needed help with multiple leak and clogging issues in the kitchen and bathroom. The team was very responsive and was able to fix all the issues in a very timely manner. Very happy with their customer support and quality of work.

Although I didn't end up using Gogo Rooter this time, I had a great user experience with them. They were very professional, sent a technician promptly for a free estimate and technical assessment, and even followed up with a call afterward. The only reason I didn't go with their service was because a handyman friend was able to resolve the issue without charge.
I am very happy with the whole house re-pipe work done by Edgar and his team. No leak post the re-pipe. The re-pipe was done in a day and then patching. We also got city permit approved for this project. Staff is friendly and Edgar and his team is very professional. I would highly recommend knockout plumbing for any plumbing work. Also the clean up job post re pipe was also very clean. Patching was done very professionally as well.

For a little more background, if you're like me, you might take your water heater for granted, expecting it to just keep on working--day in and day out. When the water from the hot tap keeps running cold, it catches my attention.
I had a water heater that I was expecting more life out of from our home remodeling project years ago. I don't recall the warranty period, but it was probably past it.
I checked Yelp and came across Dependable Water Heaters. I liked what I read in the reviews, so I decided to try them. And boy, am I glad I did. Here's what I found:
Adrian diagnosed the issue and instantly conveyed that he knew exactly what he was talking about.
He replaced the heater and expertly placed it into a relatively tight water heater closet. About a half hour later, we had hot water.
Before he left, Adrian advised me about the importance of flushing the heater tank out once a year and showed me exactly how to do it. Fast-forward a year, and I remembered to flush the tank. The problem was that I forgot Adrian's directions. Seeing how I was dealing with natural gas and hot water, I thought I better give Adrian a call. Not only did he answer the call immediately, but he was gracious in walking me through the directions again.
Oh, and a year or two later, I found myself calling Adrian again because there was no hot water one day. He quickly diagnosed that the pilot needed to be restarted. He also cautioned that I needed to do exactly what he said for fear of causing an unintended explosion if I didn't. Listening extra carefully to Adrian's guidance, we again had hot water.

Around 2 o'clock on a Friday afternoon, we had a circuit breaker trip at our home. It was labeled 'furnace', but in addition to our furnace the lights and power in a bathroom and bedroom also went out. I called ARSEN because I was really happy with the work they had done updating our wiring for a new refrigerator. They couldn't come that day, but were able to come on Saturday at 11. Dmitry saw that we had a short somewhere in the circuit and started hunting for it in a very organized and logical manner -- all the while explaining the process he was going through. He finally located and fixed the short. I definitely plan on calling ARSEN the next time we need electrical work done or have an electrical problem. Thank you, ARSEN!

Willis did some electrical work for us back in the late 1990s, including relocating and installing a new 200 amp entrance panel. A lot of electricity has flowed through that panel since then. It has remained though a major house reconstruction, and a solar upgrade. Recently I decided to add a new Tesla Universal Wall Connector, as we have two "plug in" cars now. (Upgraded from the NEMA 14-50 that I had the solar guys install.) I was pleased to see that Willis is still in business. It was a relatively small job, so he was able to fit it in fairly quickly. L-one is the most amazing appliance repair company I have ever seen. I called them to fix my Maytag Neptune dryer...supposedly the best dryer on the market...... but it suddenly stopped working. Nik came over and determined the control board was malfunctioning, and found out that they are no longer made..... but instead of telling me to buy a new dryer, he takes the board back to his shop...... and rebuilds it himself..... hahahahah... unbelievable.... he brings it back the next day.... and presto.... the dryer works better than it ever has in the 20 years I have owned it..... absolutely incredible. I have used a dozen appliance repair companies over the years, and none of them could ever do something like this.Then I had him look at my 50 year old wall oven which stopped working.....I really thought there was no hope for that one... but sure enough..... in 10 minutes he found a wire that was broken, and 20 minute later... it was fixed and good as new.These are not normal experiences in the modern appliance repair environment......I was very lucky to find these guys by accident, but now I know where to go, whenever something breaks down.

Our front door knob is pretty old and we thought the latch was broken when the knob doesn't turn. We called Bravo Locksmith on a Sunday and Alex came out in 20mins (eta was 25min) and helped us open the door within minutes. Turned out it was the key copies from Home Depot that was bad. He made 2 extra keys for us and make sure they work.He shared the price with us upfront before he performed work. Price was standard as we had other locksmiths before. (Inspection fee + fix cost).We'd call them again if we have issues in the future.

They helped me in a pinch! got locked out of my apartment. Called my landlord but they were out of town and could not get to me soon enough. I located a kiosk that was close and was able to log into my account and get a key cut on the spot. This saved me hours for waiting on someone to come open my door. Definitely would use again if i need to get a new key. (when you get a new key go save it on your account so you are ready for being locked out)
After remodeling we had three new doors and too many keys. Darrin and Andrew came out and quickly set us with one key for main doors. In addition Andrew fixed garage door so it would lock/latch. Darrin showed us how to lock new side door. This isn't the first time we have used Modern lock and they have always been responsive, efficient and working with them is a pleasure.

I called E.M.A locksmith and they told me a tech can be on site within 45 min . Tech show up in time and in matter of few minutes he open the truck with his computer. Yah Memo is fantastic. He's the type of person you want to work with - he's efficient, fast communicator, has all the tools, and knows what a deep clean should be. We hired him to come to our house and do a thorough deep clean of the Cayenne. With two young kids you could imagine....the interior now looks like it did when we bought it new under two years ago. He did such a great job, I hired him to do a quick waterless clean on my Ferrari and we've put him into a 3-6 month rotation for our vehicles.
I found Tonita's Carpet cleaning about 4 years ago by asking on Nextdoor for a good and reliable carpet cleaner. I had used one of the larger companies in the past but wasn't always happy with their customer service or their prices. This is a small family owned business and his wife Maria answers the phone and schedules and also gives an estimate of the cost. I was able to get an appointment within a week which was convenient to my schedule. Carlos came on time and he was so nice! I showed him the rooms and he helped me move some of the furniture outside. Then he went about his business of cleaning three rooms, a landing and a stairway. What a wonderful job he did and his pricing is very reasonable compared to the larger companies that don't have the wonderful PR they do. I highly recommend them. They are based in San Jose but they came to Palo Alto.

Just had our third visit from Super Girl, and I want to let everyone know how wonderful they are. First, they clean my house better than I can! I don't know what cleaning products they use, but my home smells so clean and fresh after they finish. Second, they are reliable. Third and most importantly, they don't damage my house! Seems like a silly thing to praise, but I fired my last cleaners because I started noticing scratches on my wood furniture, or a chip in the counter. A dropped soap dish that shattered. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, and took it to heart. I hope to use them for a long time to come.

I got Qualiclean to get deep cleaning done for my single family home. I got the quote over the phone and Maria was able to give me an appointment over the weekend to make sure we meet our move-in timelines. The crew arrived on time, cleaned the house, and professionally accomadated all our requests. We are very happy with the clean up and services offered.I would like to add that the quote provided over the phone was based on an hourly rate. The approximate quote was for about 4 hours of work, but 3 hours into the job the work was barely 50% done. We ended up negotiating with the supervisor to make sure they give us a flat rate for the complete job irrespective of the total number of hours. The supervisor was supportive and honored the flat rate to get the work completed.I highly recommend Qualiclean for cleaning services. In retrospective .. I will get an in-person quote & finalize a flat rate before the appointment.

Shayna was great when we were picking materials and we selected some great items together while also be conscious of our budget. Jordan was on site regularly through the project to ensure things were on track and done correctly. They set up a great Whatsapp group chat and were in constant communication on the project and decisions that needed to be made. They were also responsive to feedback during the project when we wanted something addressed (e.g., trash pickup). There was not a detailed plan developed for our project - they really just jumped in and started the work - and anytime something needed to be corrected along the way Jordan never hesitated to make it happen. Overall, the renovation came out great - they keep things simple through the project - are highly trustworthy - we passed all inspections (which they scheduled at the right times) - and delivered the project on time and on budget - effectively all the factors you'd want in a partner. Great experience from the first phone call. Jameson was knowledgable, professional and fun. He very thoroughly inspected the house and showed us what he was finding. He was very clear about different treatment options and once we have decided, he and Richard did a great job and were very carful to leave a few marks as possible around the house (where they had to drill). I had a subterranean wasp issue in my yard. Bugmaster was booked full for the week but let me know when they would be starting to book the next week's appointments through the yelp message app. Their online quote was comparable to the in person quote that was given after they arrived. Their online responses were clear, concise and transparent. They arrived in the time window that was booked for me and their technician, Dave, was a pleasure to work with. While they were out at my property, I asked him to include spraying for ants and removing the cobwebs from around the house as part of the quote. They are not the cheapest, but if you value good service, friendliness, and reliability you should choose Bugmaster.

We’ve had Expel service our home for a couple years now and the results are perfect and the big thing that sets them apart is the level of customer service is excellent. We had an ant infestation, and Pacific Pest Management came to the rescue. It was easy to make an appointment. Alan took great care of us spraying the inside that would quickly dry before our pets had to be back home and he sprayed all the outside. Was impressed too that he offered to fill some of the areas with a sealant too. He followed up the next day to see if we saw any more ants, which we didn't. Strongly recommend them for their service.
Cannot recommend Presto enough, especially for businesses. I work for a restaurant and we faced worst-case scenario: shut down by health department on a Friday, meaning we would miss the entire weekend of business (not to mention advertise our failed health inspection to the public all weekend) if we did not treat and reopen ASAP.
Presto’s owner Jim is clearly experienced in these emergency situations. He walked us through the entire process to make sure we would meet the health department’s requirements. He went to bat with us to make sure the insurance paperwork was in order for mall management to approve the emergency work permit same-day. He also educated us on keeping our own pest defenses up so that pests from our neighbors don’t congregate in our space. We successfully passed an inspection Saturday morning. Thank you Presto!
I've had Proven Termite Solutions work on my house at least 4 times now. As California homeowners know, we all have termites and it's just a question of when you'll need termite work done. We've had a few places of dry wood treated and also got subterranean treatment last year. Every time PTS has come out, they've been friendly, professional, responsive and answered all our questions. They've been very transparent in their pricing and I haven't had any problems.

Got Gopher tech Amador identified the problem and caught a mole in the first 24 hours!!! These guys are pros, I will never waste my time with any other company. I had a great experience with TAPS Termites. Rob provided a thorough and honest inspection, confirming there were no termites in my house without trying to upsell me. He offered practical advice on dealing with wood rot and a plumbing leak that could attract termites in the future. It’s rare to find such honesty in this industry, and I’ll definitely use TAPS Termites again if needed.
So thankful for Ryan, Molly and Scout! I had bed bug concerns after receiving some bites which prompted me to seek out a canine inspection. My initial inspection was done with a different company which yielded inconclusive results. This was frustrating to hear as the bites continued. I reached out to Ryan and he was able to get me in within just a couple of days. He inspected the space himself, then had Molly perform her inspection and then Scout just to be sure. Thankfully they did not find any bed bugs and Ryan shared what pests he thought might be causing the bites and how to go about dealing with that. I can't thank him enough for his flexibility, thoroughness and for answering my many questions.
I had to have my house fumigated because I had a really bad case of drywood termites in the kitchen of the house I am renting. I chose Top Grade Termite Control because of their 5 star reviews. Anytime I see a business on Yelp with ONLY 5 star reviews (and nothing less), I always wonder is the credibility is that good... Well, now I can say that it is true and well deserved. The actual fumigation crew/company (Nor Cal Fumigation) that comes to tent the house is top notch as well! They are also only 5 star reviews. The women at Nor Cal who helped me there were Lisa Scoffone and Lori Figueroa. Their customer service was amazing! As soon as the crew arrived, they were super friendly and very respectful to the property and the house. Even when I got home, they double checked all the cabinets because they took the boxes of tea and placed them far away from the house so I can still use them. I was also concerned about the lemon tree that is very close to the house and was still healthy and thriving! Usually, a tenting experience can be super stressful but dealing with Top Grade and Nor Cal Fumigation - it wasn't. If was pretty much effortless because of them. Their service is above and beyond! If you to have your place fumigated, these two companies are the BEST ones to use! Hands down.

We had our driveway paved by D&I Landscape with concrete and bricks. They are very professional and very good in communicating. The designer Luis did a very good job in helping us plan the final layout. They were fairly flexible in adapting to some changes we wanted. The biggest part of a project is the contractor and the people that will be working on your house. South Bay was referred to use by our designer and she wasn't wrong. South Bay's bid and estimates were reasonable and accurate. They never added "hidden fees" or gotchas after the work started. We were the only people to add additional things and again South Bay was reasonable and upfront about the cost. Each time they finished a part of the project, we would receive an invoice and how much we owed but only for the work that they had done.Danny, the foreman, was here all the time and he was always willing to change something if it didn't work or make sense. He was helpful with suggestions but he never pressured us.We knew going into the project that South Bay couldn't do everything but they referred us to a couple of other contractors that were great as well. South Bay was flexible when we had some items delayed and was back working when the items arrived.A couple of things that I know now that might help others. South Bay works multiple projects and your project is not the only one. We had to wait for them to do some work because they had other customers and having talked to some other people, we realized that it was normal. Also, trust the process. At first things might not look right but give them time, it will look right in the end.We have joked and already started thinking about doing our front yard and we will definitely talk to South Bay about it when we are ready. Matt and the whole team are great, reasonably priced, friendly, and their work is top notch. You aren't in business for 16 years if you aren't good.

The New Sky crews arrrived on time. The company owner (Carlos) gave them instructions and they went right to work. I had a number of mature oaks that needed trimming for fire mitigation purposes, as well as a few small trees and some encroaching by my neighbors' hedge. The bid I received was very competitive and very reasonable for the amount of work done. When the work was finished, Carlos returned to review his crew's work with me and what he recommended for the trees I thought needed attention in the future. Today Bill's Tree Care came and removed a City tree that was deemed diseased by city arborist.Bill was a pleasure to work with and his professional services where priced very well. Other companies were going to charge $540 to remove river rock from the base of the tree which measured 4' x 4'. My husband and I are 70 and 60 respectively, and without asking how.much to have his crew remove he said we'll take care of that, no additional charge. So appreciated. His crew was very professional and the cleanup was done right. Thanks

He’s very professional and knowledgable. When I was contacted and given the appointment I was very hesitant because I live in Gilroy. That’s a 40 minute drive if not more for the traffic. But that no longer matters. I would travel an hour because Alum Dental is worth the trip. I recommend Alum Dental because they’re great!

Dr. Yeh is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She is a powerhouse of information and observations. She has made many unique remedies available as well as spot-on assessments of my skin conditions. I'm moving over to Stanford Healthcare to address my back. Surgery is required, and they are looking for a holistic approach to my healing (I assume). That requires most aspects of my health to be addressed by their physicians including their dermatologist. I'm still keeping my patient-doctor relationship intact with her since my appointments are only once a year.

Thank You Camden Pet Hospital for saving my Fuzzy Son Toby Cat. I can't express how much I appreciate Dr J. deciding to say that Toby is too young and before his major health issues too healthy for him to be put down. Tuesday, Jan 30 was the start of Toby's recovery and I owe my gratitude and thanks to Dr J and the staff at Camden Pet Hospital. When I woke up on that Tuesday I saw that Toby was even more sick than the prior days and I called Camden Pet Hospital to make an appointment for them to see him. I thought this was to end his life, that I would have to have him euthanized. I didn't think that CHP could save Toby for an amount of money that I could afford. To my wonderful surprise when I met Dr. J and told her the situation, fairly quickly she said that Toby is too young and healthy to be put down. She came up with a treatment plan that I could afford, around $650 that would basically follow what the other vet companies said they would do, treat Toby for 3 days, for a much higher cost, over $3000. The only difference was that I would take Toby home each day at 5 PM and then return him the next day for additional treatment to cure his urinary blockage. As with the prior 2 days, they continued with his treatments until I came at 5 PM Thursday to pick Toby up at the end of his care at CPH, and bring him home. Dr J. said that his urinary blockage had been cleared and the problem with his liver was fixed. All we could do now was to keep an eye on him. Try to get him to continue to eat and drink water. They gave me some special cat food, both dry and wet food for him to eat. This food was a urinary care type of cat food, Hills Urinary Care cat food. All during the time of his illness, I was praying to GOD to help save my Fuzzy Son Toby. I was so afraid I was going to lose him and it was very difficult to hold it together. I was a mess. That night Toby slept with me as he always does and I had the strong belief that he was going to eventually fully recover. From the time I brought Toby home from CHP, he slowly and steadily regained his health. Each day, his recovery progressed. He started eating his cat food and drinking water. It was not a lot at first, but each day he ate and drank more. Also, he started using his cat box. In fact, I set up a separate cat box, food and water dishes in my room as Dr J suggested. More major positive changes happened. He started walking around the house again. He wasn't just staying in my room. At the end of the first week back home, he wanted to go outside again. The things that really showed me that he was getting better is he started acting like my Fuzzy Son again. He was purring often again, playing with his sister Sophie cat, and looking at me like the old Toby Cat, full of LOVE and LIFE! It's now been about 1 1/2 months since the start of this journey and I'm so HAPPY to say that Toby has FULLY RECOVERED! Of course, none of this would have happened if not for Dr J at CPH. Her decision to help Toby, her treatment plan and the care that she and the CHP staff gave Toby is the major reason why he recovered and is healthy again. THANK YOU DR. J AND EVERYONE AT CAMDEN PET HOSPITAL FOR SAVING TOBY'S LIFE.
My 8 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel just had 9 teeth removed by Dr. Zacher. Dr. Zacher is excellent and her team is top-notch! My husband and I were both very impressed by the care for our sweet dog. I was very nervous about my dog having so many teeth removed and being put under general anesthesia , but the staff kept me updated every step of the way while the procedure was being performed which helped to ease my anxiety. All went smoothly and, when we picked him up, we were given thorough instructions for home care and what to expect. The next day they checked in to see how our dog was doing which I thought was very nice. Our general vet recommended Dr. Zacher for this more complex dental procedure and told us our dog would be in good hands at Best Friends Animal Dentistry and that was so true!
I have been coming to Camden Pet Hospital for many years and was always happy with Dr Hodge Sr and Jr. I'll admit I was a little apprehensive about seeing anyone new but within a few moments my worries were swept away. Dr Janjusevic is absolutely incredible and the support staff here is amazing as well. If I could give 10 stars I would!
Dr. Yang and staffs were all so nice, helpful, professional, and loving when we took our fur baby in. All the informations from the visit beginning to end were thoroughly explained and we left there happy. We’ve been taking our fur babies here since they were puppies and continued to do so because it’s a place where we feel safe and trust in the hands of professionals in caring for our fur babies.
I've been bringing my dogs to this veterinary clinic since 2021, and every visit is met with excitement from my pets the moment we pull into the parking lot. The entire staff, from the doctors and assistants to the front desk team, is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They consistently prioritize our pets' well-being, making us feel reassured and cared for. One standout feature I appreciate is their flexibility with drop-off appointments, which aligns perfectly with our work schedule. While some reviews mention their wellness plan can be perceived as pushy, I personally found it to be a good fit for us. The unlimited office visits and access to 24/7 pet chat have tremendously lowered our stress levels as first-time pet parents.

Dr J and the receptionist were very kind and professional. They did blood work and within hours Dr J called me with the results. My dog is 16, I have a list of vets I've taken her to in her long life. Curtner pet clinic is a better choice in my opinion.
This animal hospital is the way underrated. Five Stars are truly not enough. Look no further this team of highly experienced individuals are the best of the best.. All around great people I was in an out faster then you could imagine with absolute compterability. It has been a night mare searching for a dependable emergency vet. Called over a dozen different location in the bay area and I couldn't believe how under trained and unproffesional most locations really are. It's pretty bad when you can tell there only there for a check over the phone and being hung up on due to a stupid question. Or placed on hold with our ever getting through or a recording that repeats with no options. If you have ever searched for a vet you know exactly what I mean. Thank God I was refferd to Dr. Grewal and his well trained crew. I couldn't believe how fast the visit went. I was in and out in less than a hour with all questions answered a treatment plan and medications, and my dog was extremly close to death very larthargic from a serve case of parvo. She was too weak to even walk and with in hours after my visit she was by the door wanting to be walked. The whole team is highly educated professionals who work together as a elite team. Dr. Grewals leadership and delegation skills really reflect though his hard working caring polite employees I left there felling like I was just welcomed into the family the true animal lovers these guys thank you Carie and the rest of the crew all you guys are equally amazing. We’ve extremely satisfied with his service, being very thorough and complete in explaining the diagnostic evaluations and treatments. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would! They are caring,empathetic and very knowledgeable. The hospital does get busy, however, it is worth the wait due to the care they put into our fur babies. We just went to Lush Spaw for the first time today. Elena did such a great job with our Cavachon! The whole experience from booking the appointment online to the check in was easy. They require proof of Rabies vaccination which you can send via text , super simple. Elena took the time to understand how we wanted Biscuit's haircut to be , including the length & overall look we were going for. In 2.5 hours , Biscuit was ready!! The Lush groom Biscuit had today was great. He looked like a million bucks & so happy. Elena let us know how Biscuit did which was also nice. Elena is awesome & so is the front staff. This is a follow up from our earlier post with our Newfoundland dog Cosmo. Today we brought in the little Newfoundland dog Casper. He's only 155 pounds. You can take everything I said in my previous post which is perfectly true and they did it again with Casper. This time he came out with a cute purple bandanna and a well executed full service grooming. He looks great and just in time for more hot weather. If you have a pet that needs grooming, please go see this particular branch. I guarantee you in less than one minute, you will know that you're at the right spot . And that would be quality pet spot. We have an adorable 6-month-old cocker who is nervous at groomers. It is reasonable and expected -he is only a puppy! We took him to Dang Diggity Dog organic pet grooming because they have a special pappy grooming introduction package. We waited 10 days for an appointment. They called us 2 hours after dropping him off, saying he doesn't like grooming. "Not in an aggressive way, he just wants to play with the clipper. " What!!! They recommended sedation. Then we went to Pet Smart and they said they do not spend extra time with puppies - or try. In other words, they don't have time to deal with puppies. Finally, I went to Almaden Per Salon. The owner listened to my concerns and said to bring him in the next day without sedation. The session was done in 4 hours and Duke came back home with a new haircut and groomed just like we wanted. I am so happy. Highly recommended. The care was tailored to a "ball of energy". =)
Our dog, Porkchop, is so happy when he realizes we've pulled up to Olly's. He's at ease knowing he's going to be shampooed and groomed with care. They do such a good job on his nails too.

I took my father in laws dog Oppie lo to the vet here, and they were amazing!! From the front office staff all the way up to the doctor, they were compassionate and kind. Oppie had been having cysts in his private area. At 14 years old, we just wanted to get him some relief after spending $4000 at other places. Nobody could give us a definite solution we found this place by recommendation, and we are so grateful we did!! Oppie is a cyst free doggy and recovering quickly!! I went into this Ulta to pick up some new brushes but was pleasantly surprised that they had a benefit brow specialist doing eyebrow waxing. Cameron was so sweet and very professional. She first mapped out my brows, showed me what she thought worked for my face shape, and I loved it! She listened to me when I said I wanted to keep the fullness and SLAYED! My brows are full, sharp and even!

I recently starting working in San Jose and found the StretchLab Silver Creek. I love this place! I’ve been working with Ashley doing assisted stretching to help my shoulders, neck, and legs. Ashley is the best! I’m there every week for a 25 minute stretch session to undo the damage years at a computer has done. I’ve seen a variety of people from high school athletes to older adults in need of professional assistance in keeping their mobility. It’s a positive and encouraging environment. Maddie at the front desk is the best at scheduling as well 5 stars from me.

The staff at Pros in Rehab understand the human body and tailor their interventions to your individual needs. It's personalized and worth every minute.
I started going to Evoke and working with Laurel before trying to get pregnant after 2 miscarriages. Laurel was amazingly knowledgeable and compassionate through this journey, she recommended an OB/GYN practice that would do more testing, then helped me interpret that testing, made diet/lifestyle recommendations, and, of course, did acupuncture. This was my first experience with acupuncture and I found it to be painless and enjoyable. I did acupuncture through my first trimester and again about a month before delivery. It was a healthy pregnancy and (relatively) easy delivery which I think acupuncture helped significantly with. Long story short- I can't recommend Evoke or Laurel enough if you have any reason to try acupuncture, it truly is a great compliment for addressing health concerns.
Dr Shmirti was absolutely wonderful. She asked me great questions, was very warm and friendly. This was my 1st time doing acupuncture and she answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. I have been having very painful headaches daily for the last 4 months and after my 1st acupuncture treatment I had no pain at all. It is the day after my 1st treatment and I am still pain free from my headaches. Also, for the 1st time in months I slept so good last night. I am looking forward to my upcoming and continued treatments to continue helping with my headaches in the long term. Highly recommend Dr. Shmirti and Lokahi Acupuncture.

I went to Numo acupuncture for my shoulder pain that I had for around 4 years. I used to do PT, but still, the pain was there. But Melissa was able to understand the pain and was able to help alleviate my pain with acupuncture and cupping. She also did a good work with Guasha for my ankle. What surprised me was that she found out an issue that I had not disclosed to her when she was doing acupuncture. She is really good and I recommend her if you're looking for quality care...
Dr. Liu, the female Doctor/owner of this business is a superb healer and is a very effective doctor. I'm currently seeing her for a painful issues with my Piriformis muscle that is affecting my walking and bending. She asks a multitude of questions to pinpoint your issue and is very informative on what she is doing during treatment (excellent communicator). She has literally almost instantaneously healed me in a few sessions and I'm pleased to see her when I have complex issues. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

It was a Saturday evening and I called to ask if they could accommodate 2 people. The lady who answered said they were currently busy and told us to come an hour later. I'm glad I called ahead so we didn't have to wait there. You have to pay first. We chose the 60min foot & back massage. We were then led to the "group room" which still felt private as there was no one else but us there at that time. The entire experience actually exceeded our expectations! We didn't expect much given the few Yelp reviews, sketchy low prices and unassuming Asian plaza location (ironically they are right next to the most popular banh mi shop). The last time I went to one of these Asian foot spas was over 10yrs ago, so that was pre PRE covid era. I wasn't new to the game, but this time was actually better than I remembered. The group area seemed clean and well kept. There was a spa smell with ambiant music playing. Light was dim. The gentlemen who massaged us were actually gentle but also toughly kneaded the knots I didn't want on my upper back. All this while I was fully clothed and comfortable. They cover you with a towel like a blanket as well. After the hour was finished, I felt so relaxed and relieved of my upper back pain. I just wish more time was spent on my back rather than my feet, which was mostly rubbing. The $40 +$10 tip was well worth the 60mins. We already talked about coming here regularly. My tips would be: 1) Wear lose clothing and pants that you can easily roll up. 2) Bring cash for tip. 3) Call ahead.
This place has some of the best masseuse. The guy who answers the phone is in a hurry to get off the phone and does not care if you book, or not book. I let it slide the first time, but he's the same every time I call. It feels like I am such an inconvenience when I ask questions. The guy answer phone is the first person the customer falls to. He should make you feel welcome. The masseuse are all great. Haven't had a bad one yet. There used to be a lady that answers the phone she's super nice.

Overall, I think my experience with A-Z was pretty decent. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. My first lesson with Katie was pretty good. She was very helpful, and she me feel comfortable driving for the first time. She also left some insightful comments on my score sheet so that I could improve my driving skills. My second instructor was Wassim(who I think was the owner). I must say he is very knowledgeable and he wanted to teach me the best driving practices. During my lesson, he was training a new driving coach. But I must say, he was often condescending and passive aggressive . He would often cask me "how do you think you could have done better?" or something like that. I was new to driving, so it made me rather nervous having someone speak to me like that. Also during the lesson, Wassim just randomly asked me to parallel park in a residential area, told me to "think about how to improve" and then just left the vehicle for several minutes. I thought that was rather odd. But I must say, despite all that I've mentioned about him, Wassim did point out various bad driving habits I had and tried to help me improve. As an example I had a hard time handling the steering wheel, my hands didn't cross correctly and sometimes I just kept them fixed when turning. This caused my turns to be too wide. Wassim would spend a lot of time trying to help me improve this, as it was one of the basic skills of driving. He also gave me reminders such as what to check when changing lanes and the most effective way to slow down at a traffic light. So overall, I think Wassim was pretty good, he just made me a little nervous when he was talking at times. My third instructor was OK(I don't remember her name unfortunately). She told me I was doing pretty well, so besides giving me the occasional reminder, she spent much of the lesson on her phone. It was slightly nerve wracking, as I was still pretty new to driving. But she did give some feedback. Overall, I would recommend A-Z driving school. They have pretty good instructors so if you're learning how to drive, you know you're in good hands

My daughter had all three of her behind the wheel lessons with Noel. She daughter thought he was knowledgeable about the rules of the road. She likes to ask a lot of questions and said he knew all the answers. He helped her prepare for all the skills needed for her drivers test. He was always on time and professional!
