“I moved to the area a few months ago and was looking for a new stylist. Gino stood out to me with his bio and previous work so I scheduled an appointment and I'm so happy I did! The salon is small but bright and welcoming and the people are equally as bright and welcoming. Gino is great at collaboration and suggesting new styles/colors to check out and is always ready to answer any product or styling questions I might have. He's also great for ideas about what to do in the area! Love this place!“

“Alicia was excellent! She is so easy to communicate with and super responsive during the entire process. On the day of my City Hall wedding, she put me at ease and made me look like an elevated version of myself. I went for a natural look, but wanted it to pop a bit for photography. She gave me exactly what I wanted for hair + makeup, and it lasted well throughout the day :) She is also really efficient - the total time was a little less than 1.5 hours. As someone who doesn’t love spending too much time getting ready, this was perfect for me. Lol. if you’re thinking about booking her, do it!“

I had a pleasant first experience at this salon! I was referred by a friend to try this place out. The stylist I requested was Cesar. He was really nice and made sure what I wanted was clear. We discussed about how the new haircut will behave and suite my face, along with general styling tips. We had insightful conversations and had a good synergy. He was efficient with the shears and checked with me occasionally to stay on the same page with the vision I had. I have fine, straight hair. Prior to this, my hair was long with moderate amount of layers. The haircut I requested was a medium/short wolf cut. Despite the big change, it turned out well!
Some people might be hesitant on getting this kind of haircut, but it is important to acknowledge your hair type and discuss with your stylist. Do consider how much styling you are willing to do. The wolf cut style is a fun hairstyle that is best styled often. I still experiment with different ways to style this hair.

Requested style: I requested a short/medium length wolf-cut style haircut. My original hair was long and layered, so it was quite the change. It was my first time getting this style of haircut as well.

Hair type: I have fine, straight hair. Prior to the haircut, the length was long. After the haircut, my hair has more volume from the added texture of layers.

“One word: transformative. I hadn’t gotten my hair cut professionally in 5 years before coming here, but Linda managed to reverse all the damage and split ends within an hour. Everyone I’ve showed my hair to says it’s stylish and beautiful. Linda is also really great company, very honest (she refunded me money for a color consultation when we decided to stick with my natural hair color) and is just an expert. I have not gotten such a good haircut since I left London. Linda brings this European sensibility to her haircuts and is just so, so talented. Already planning to come back every couple months to maintain this look.“

He knows what styles work (and sadly, I'm forever condemned to a two-block cut unless I perm). One of the few who actually washes your hair before cutting with great after-care tips -- and if you ask, where to get good Korean food, too. :-) Appointment only. No walk-ins. You could be waiting for a month for a spot, so plan ahead.“

Not only is she really talented and experienced with hair and makeup, she’s also just an overall pleasure to work with. I’d never had my hair and makeup done professionally, so I was nervous going into it, but Fiona made sure to provide me with all of the information I needed to be prepared. She was so knowledgeable and conscientious with the products she used, making sure to keep my skincare needs top priority (I have acne-prone, dry skin and rosacea), and really highlighted my features. I’m also a bit of a tomboy and rarely wear makeup or style my hair, so my main goal was essentially “look like myself, but nicer”. Fiona accomplished that perfectly! “I have been seeing and following Dede for over 20 years. I started seeing her at Maiden Lane when I was 15 years old and she was the first person to shape my eyebrows. I always get complimented on them thanks to Dede. She is incredibly talented and can texturize my eyebrows like no one else. Where Dede goes, I go! I am very particular about my eyebrows and love that she never rushes anything and takes the time needed. She keeps my eyebrows up to date on trends yet still keeps them classy and full. When it comes to eyebrows, Dede is la crème de la crème.“

If I had the budget to also do a trial beforehand I absolutely would have, but considering I went in the day of with just a few small suggestions on what I wanted out of my look, Mei was able to work magic. She does a stunning natural makeup look, which was just what I wanted. For my hair, I only asked for something classic/vintage-inspired that was pinned up on the sides, and she took that and created such a beautiful and simple style. Hair and makeup stood up through hours of running around city hall with our photographer and our evening afterparty. I was such a happy bride and will be forever grateful!“
