Ariel and Michelle built a set of bookcases and a custom desk for my office. Later, we came back for more and had them do walk-in closet cabinetry. The quality is absolutely top notch. Very solid, and beautiful as well. Ariel is a master craftsman, and he cares about the quality of the work more than you do! They will do any style - they often do traditional, but we wanted very modern, and they accommodated us perfectly. They are a pleasure to work with, and the entire design process was highly collaborative. I'll add that they are scrupulously honest and utterly reliable.

We quoted 4-5 different vendors and chose them. Def recommend and will go back again if we ever need water damage restoration (which hopefully we won't !!!)

The best Thai massage around my house. I've never had a bad massage here, and that says a lot despite trying different providers. I love massages, and frequently get spa treatments around the bay. Phenomenal!! Pedro (Pepe) did an INCREDIBLE job with my car! My car was so filthy after a long road trip, with bugs splattered all over the front grill and bumper, sunscreen and sand spilled all over the car. After Pedro worked on it (Premier detail), it looks even better than when I first got it from the dealership!! The staff were so professional and kind, not to mention the team worked on it till 7pm. Highly highly recommend for car detailing.

As the process began, Sherri, the owner, explained the details to me step by step. Her mom, Jill, the color specialist, safely lifted my hair to a beautiful blonde. At last, Rosie is the master braider. Her work is neat and lovely, and she is very light-handed.

Soussan was very kind to accommodate me on a last minute basis, on Sat late afternoon. You can feel the mastership! Top notch aesthetic taste. I am a picky client as I prefer one of a kind asymmetrical hairstyle, I like novelty and artistry. A couple more stylists were at the end of their day but they enthusiastically joined our brainstorming of how to cut and what style to choose. It was fun and a very heartwarming experience and I felt that I'd easily trust any of them to be my hairdresser next time.

Upon the recommendation of a friend, who always looks great, I had an appointment today with Debbie C, owner of FX Salon. I had highlights/low-lights and couldn't be more pleased. Debbie is one of the first hairstylists who was able to take my slightly frizzy, brassy brunette locks and turn them into sun-kissed dark golden brown tresses I love what she did. Apart from being a genius when it comes to color, she is so nice and genuine. I made an appointment on the spot for a haircut. I am so glad I found Debbie.
Eleen is the best hair stylist in the area. Have known her for years and will go to only her place for the coming years too. The place is swanky clean, they have few stylists and few new ones keep coming as well. The gentleman at the desk and Miss patty are awesome as well. Eleen listens to you and understand your expectations of your new looks after the hair cut. She makes suggestions to improvise and delivers like a pro. Took my son, Austin - 14 & going into HS, to Juan for the first time today. We had been going to SuperCuts but Austin decided he now wanted "a real barbershop". I found The Cut here on Yelp. Juan was the only one there and we were the first appt of the day. At first I thought 45 minutes was long for a cut. But ... I soon learned that Juan schedules plenty of time for each person so no one feels rushed. He was friendly and the conversation flowed easy. Juan was very kind & patient when Austin wasn't sure what he wanted. After sharing what he'd had previously, Austin changed it a bit. Juan asked Austin if he liked what he was doing as he was progressing thru the cut with different techniques in each area. He also explained the terminology used for some of styles and techniques. And... he cleaned up a bit Austin's peach-fuzz of a mustache too. ;) Juan took his time to ensure Austin had a good experience and liked his cut. I can see why he has great reviews. We will be going back.

I've been to B&B Nails several times, and it's always a great experience. Booking an appointment online is super easy . I have not had issues finding parking. There is parking available in the front and back of the salon. Services I've had are gel manicures, pedicures and Gel X. I'm particular about my Gel X nails, and they consistently do an excellent job. Quinnie, in particular, is fantastic--patient, communicative, and attentive to what I want. I'm really happy with my nails!

Ana is so talented at what she does. My husband goes to her for his haircuts and she always does an amazing job. Yesterday, I made an appointment for my mother-in-law for roots. When she saw her hair, she explained that a root touch up will not look even as her hair was faded into multiple colors. Red is a very tough color to get right, but she nailed it! She showed me which color she will be using and made sure it was to my mother-in-law's liking. Ana took so much care when doing her hair, she paid attention to every detail and took her time to make sure she gets it perfectly done. When I saw my mother-in-law's end result, I was so shocked. I had a leak under the kitchen sink so called Bell Plumbing who came out the next morning. They ran some tests and determined that it was coming from the button area for the garbage disposal so they caulked it and did not charge me anything for their time and effort, whereas other plumbers would charge a minimum fee just for making the trip to your house. They were very professional and will definitely use them again in the future.
They fixed the shower head in my bathroom and were very helpful and friendly I recommend calling them anytime you have any issues. My showers are so much better quality of life improvement

Hands down the most responsive and honest plumber we have ever worked with. We own an older home in San Mateo so we've had LOTS of experience with plumbers over the years and I always felt completely fleeced. Recently our sewage backed up on the street, we had a "reputable" company come to check it out... yada yada yada... they start doing their thing and all of a sudden it looks like we will be replacing all the piping under our home, costing a fortune. I did my due diligence and got a second opinion... Rafael shows up within four hours of our initial call... sticks a camera into the pipes... 10 min later he knocks on my door let me know it's the cities back up problem, gives me the number to call and voila.. a couple hours later we are out of the woods! Did I forget to mention... he did this completely free of charge?? Guy is a class act. Just call him already!

Called Pacific Plumbing to have them come out to replace garbage disposal. The first thing Nathan did was to ask to use my bathroom which was out of the ordinary. Kind of unprofessional. The guys from the past never asked. Also there was time leftover for the appt. Usually, the other guys would ask if there was anything else they could do but Nathan just left.

Our washing machine was not draining. I contacted Samsung service hotline and was told it could be a drain pump issue, they would send a service technician, but we had to move the dryer that's sitting on top of the washing machine ourselves. So I contacted couple of handimen to help move the dryer but none of them was able to come. Finally, after about a week of no washing machine, I went on Yelp to find an appliance repair company. Mike picked up the phone, asked me to snap some pictures of the washing machine. He ordered the drain pump replacement and when it arrived, he came to our home. Turned out, it was not a drain pump issue. The drain was clogged from a bunch of hair clumped together. Mike and his partner figured it out, removed it, and the washing machine worked fine after. We didn't have to pay for a new drain pump. So I cancelled the service technician from Samsung. It's been months since this happened and our washing machine still works fine. Highly recommend Speedy Appliance Repair.
Great guys Mike & Jeff and am very impressed with this natural carpet cleaning process! They arrived an hour late but kept me updated via text. Carpet dries in under an hour and no funky fragrances left behind for us sensitive to fragrances. Will definitely use them again, thanks guys!

Peninsula hardwood floors took on a challenging project of switching our carpets in our 3 bedrooms into Brazilian cherry, interlacing the new wood to the old wood in the hallways between the bedrooms and making everything match. Their work was exceptional!! The team was responsive, professional, friendly and we are very happy with the final result. I highly recommend the team at Peninsula. As an interior designer, fabricators are the heart and soul of a successful project entering completion. From countertops in the kitchen or bathroom to fireplace surrounds and shower walls, stone makes the ultimate difference in a space. Carol and the entire team at Del Rio have made my job so much easier by being such great partners for my clients. They take their time with measuring, templating, checking the products I've selected and are great with final install as well. Their pricing is competitive which is a huge plus too. More than anything, the communication is phenomenal (which if you've worked with so many trades you know sometimes is rare!) I also really have enjoyed working with Del Rio because they don't shy away from any type of stone. They've particularly done some gorgeous porcelain and quartzite installs for me! I can't wait to have another opportunity to work with them.

We had the Such team renovate our home which included taking down a wall, installing a wine fridge, flooring, recessed lighting, painting the entire home inside and outside. The crew who did the job were incredible with Ralph as Foreman who was on site every single day, Cesar is their lead crew member, also amazing work done. The Such family team work so well together with Robert designing everything, Karen the front end and Colin filling in with everything needed to do the job. They brought samples for the cabinets and flooring to our home we did not have to hunting for anything

Mike is the best general contractor I have ever worked with, by far, and his team and subcontractors were all excellent.Mike did a total facelift of our home in Menlo Park two years ago, which included new windows and doors, replacing wood shingle siding with stucco, new stonework, new roof, down-to-the-studs remodel and soundproofing the Master Bedroom, front yard landscaping, etc, and we are very happy with the result. It feels like a new home, done the way we want it. The pros of working with Mike: 1) he stays on schedule. My experience with other contractors has been that they are not good at project management, miss their timelines and charge considerably more than their estimates. This doesn't happen with Mike. 2) highest quality materials and work, done with attention to detail. In many cases, I felt like Mike was correcting mistakes made in the original construction (such as reframing the master bedroom ceiling). 3) he had ideas for the project that we didn't have but made the project better (such as converting our garage to one large door instead of two small doors, finishing the eaves, using wood paneling on the ceilings of the front and rear porches, etc). 4) he was very quick to respond and solve problems, often within minutes. 5) he stays on cost. There were no surprises in the bills. The only time things costed more was when we decided to expand the scope of the project, which we did on several occasions.The cons of working with Mike: 1) I think he is more expensive than the average contractor. For us, it was well worth the cost to stay on schedule and have such high quality, beautiful work done on our home. Also, but not unique to Mike, don't underestimate how disruptive it is to remodel. It was hard on our family, but now we have a beautiful new home to live in, and I thank Mike and his crew and all the subcontractors for that.
I'm currently interviewing remodelers for a project, and Ron was the nicest, most transparent builder who has come by. He clearly cares about the work he does. He looked at our two bathrooms, listened to our family's needs and made suggestions that would work really well with our family style. We talked about pricing, and my caviar tastes probably need some readjustment. I told him I would talk to my husband about budget but I did have a range of quotes. Ron asked politely what they were, and said even if we didn't use him for our project, he would be happy to answer questions or come by if we ever needed a second opinion. No other contractor has done this, and just want to hire him for his personality alone.
Kevin replaced the sidings, installed insulation and painted the exterior of our home this summer. He took meticulous care of all the hardware that we wanted to keep as it was part of our family home and we wanted to upgrade while still maintaining the feel of our family home. The project took 3 months because we've added additional work to the original quote. The quote if not the cheapest but also not the most expensive either. We are very happy with quality of work delivered.

Our experience with this group was nothing short of exceptional We met with Dan (brother of Ned) to discuss job, got a quote back in a very quickly, we asked to schedule and was booked within a few days! The day of work, they showed up on time, Dan came to get them started and review the work and the two guys, Richie (arborist) and other tree worker were exceptional. Our trees look so much healthier and beautiful! Excellent service all around. Nice and polite people too! MUCH appreciated!
Mayne Tree has done pruning and tree removal for me for a number of years. They (and in particular the owner Jeromy) are always well informed, professional, responsive, and do excellent work. If they commit to working on a particular day you can be assured that they will be there. Recently, a a large chunk of a tree broke off on my property and the remainder of the tree needed to be removed as quickly as possible to prevent additional damage to the fences and landscape. Jeromy did not have the staff to do it immediately, but he called my local permit office and obtained an emergency removal permit, and contacted another tree service on my behalf to ensure that someone could remove it quickly. That kind of exceptional service is why I will continue to use Mayne whenever I need tree work.

Today, Dr Chaing measured and created a temporary crown for #14 in my mounth. This procedure took a bit longer due to the complex shape of the tooth. After nearly 2 hours she completed the temp cap for me and sent me home. She did a very good job.

Dr. John has been awesome! I have an inflamed knee injury and he's been awesome! Normally in the medical field people are not as quick and responsive! Love this place highly recommend
I've tried various treatments for back pain over the years, but nothing has come close to working as well as (ART) with Dr. Scott. This technique has truly been a game-changer for me.... legitimately life changing. From my very first session, I felt a significant improvement, and over time, my mobility and pain levels have dramatically improved. I can honestly say this is the best chiropractic care I've ever received. I've been getting care from Dr. Rivera for years now. I often get pretty bad headaches and take ibuprofen, but then I go to see Dr. Rivera and the headaches go away! It's the only thing that helped my headaches that wasn't medicine! I first met Dr. Rivera when I was in a car accident when I was a teenager, and since then I've gone to him whenever I feel out of whack or just for maintenance. It feels great to have someone reliable. Even after I've moved I've come to visit and been seen by him. I trust him to get me aligned! I highly recommend him! Thank you Dr. Rivera!
What can I say about Dr. Forte, other than after years of suffering with Planter fasciitis and this new thing I woke up with last December called Metatarsalgia, Dr Forte HELPED me in two sessions. I stopped limping, I am able to wear cute shoes here and there, I am able to stand in the kitchen to cook without having to take breaks. Thank you Dr Forte you are awesome! Your thumbs, although painful, but worth it. Breath through the pain and then heal. I look forward to seeing him once a week to get that lactic acid flowing again.

The best Thai massage around my house. I've never had a bad massage here, and that says a lot despite trying different providers. I love massages, and frequently get spa treatments around the bay. I want to say this is one of the best Thai massage places I've ever been to. Ever! The skill of the providers and the reasonable price is unbeatable. Don't be turned away by the small storefront. No frills but amazing massages. I love this place
Have been coming here for years for a variety of issues. Have received great care and support. Everybody who works here is great especially Dr Gutierrez and Chrysula. Only wish is they get 2 water filters - only 1 in the gym isn't enough. Highly recommend!
I've been coming to Bayside Chiropractic for a few weeks now. The staff and doctors are professional and friendly. I've gotten quite a bit of relief from what I've initially started at when I first started. I thanks the doctors there for helping with all my adjustments and questions I've had. I recommend others to give this place a try.
The ones who are the REAL doctors are not allowed to be called doctors in this country. Doctor Loucks healed my completely blown out disc in my back, allowing me to avoid back surgery at Stanford entirely which would have cost untold amounts of money and all they would have done is fuse two vertebrae together with screws. Make no mistake, Jim and his wife Jennifer are the real doctors a few miles from Stanford.

Tanya is truly a gifted healer who can zero in on problem areas almost by instinct & has an almost magical touch. I've been seeing her every two weeks for a couple of months now and she has been instrumental in easing the discomfort & increasing mobility in an arthritic shoulder area that has bothered me for years.
WOW Kimberly is amazing! She is so knowledge about Eminence products and skincare, and her hands are absolute magic! I went in for a consultation, then left and immediately booked her soonest availability. The facial treatment itself was wonderful - I felt incredibly pampered, and not rushed at all. Now even a few days after my appointment, I can tell my skin is more glowy and even. Kimberly's energy is fantastic, you can tell she's a master at her craft, and so passionate about what she does. I can't wait to go back!
If you're looking to release muscle stress and tension, Rosa is absolutely phenomenal. I'm pretty sure we became best friends because by the end of the massage she became my doctor. I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and many other things. This massage didn't hurt yet it did absolute wonders. Dr. Rosa recommended some healthy dishes and I'm already anxious to get my veggies and protein for the soup. I was severely sick the last year and she immediately cared for me like her own. I was originally interested in another massage place within walking distance, yet they were fully booked. I've now found the one! Thank you again Rosa! I enjoyed hearing all about Thailand and your mother you are taking care of. Best of luck, always.

Stephán is the best massage therapist! I have intense chronic shoulder and neck pain and have been to so many massage therapist, and he’s the only one who can work out the knots and super tight spots. Amazing techniques and just the right pressure.
I've had tons of massages, but Bob is hands down the best I have ever had! I came in due to pain in my neck and jaw and he was able to explain how various tight and knotted muscles throughout my body were contributing to the pain. He is so knowledgable about how everything is connected and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. He has magical hands!
I was a bit of a sceptic when I first came to see Megan. I had had one other acupuncture experience that wasn't the best. But, I had been suffering from a toothache, neck pain and jaw pain that the dental world was blaming on my jaw. I thought otherwise, but had to do something because the pain was so bad. Dr. Berry was so thorough during the intake session and wanted to get a full picture of my health. With all of that information, she was able to come up with a treatment plan for me. Each week, she would review my history and check in on how things were going. She always made sure I was comfortable, and checked in on me during my treatment. By the end of my package, my jaw and neck pain were gone. Left with only the tooth pain, I was able to go back the to the dentist and tell them that the root cause was, in fact, my tooth (no pun intended.) I will definitely return to Megan should I ever need help. She is such a kind, caring, intelligent and knowledgeable practitioner!
After trying numerous treatments for my post-shingles nerve pain, I decided to give acupuncture a try out of desperation and extreme discomfort. Amazingly, after just one session, 90% of my pain was gone. I still can't believe it! The practitioner is extremely professional and experienced. I can't wait to return for another treatment.
Emily is a WONDERFUL practitioner! A few years ago, her practice was recommended to me after coming down with Long COVID. While I didn't know much about acupuncture, Emily was kind enough to go very slowly and answer ALL my questions along the way. Since I've been with her, she's been able to ease my Long COVID symptoms (along with other treatments), decrease my endometriosis symptoms, and improve my circulation, which helped my POTS issues. Today, I'm doing much better thanks to her help. Also, in these last six months, she's added acupuncture for anti-aging. I've started acupuncture for the face, and it's already showing results: more vibrance and decreased forehead lines. I'm happy with the results so far, and I'm curious how the next year will go using these natural methods. I recommend entirely Emily for her acupuncture care.
Dr. Fang is quite knowledgeable and has great skill to find root causes of our problems. I have felt full recovery from pain, soar, or uncomfortable symptom instantly and the effect stays quite long period. Pricing is quite reasonable too.
