“I first recommended to ASP from a teammates parent when my older daughter Nelly tore her ACL in high school. I was so pleased to to see the care and patience they had for her in her recovery and helped her back to return for her senior year. Excellent staff and a very knowledgeable team that developed a perfect program for her needs. It eventually lead her to major in Kinesiology in college and currently is wrapping up her masters. I was so pleased with their professionalism that we enrolled our youngest , currently in 8th grade, in a program for her strength and conditioning. They were able to detect a possible injury waiting to happen as my daughter tended to walk inward which could’ve lead to a knee injury. I’m glad to say they fixed the problem with a great program. She’s been there for almost 2 years and had comments from several coaches on how strong and fit she has become ( not so lucky for those who play against her lol). “Brian is a well rounded and knowledgeable trainer. Before beginning by training sessions I had mentioned my injuries and Brian planned the training program keeping my injuries and goals in mind. I have been training for few months now and I have never had any injuries and happy with my progress.During our sessions, Brian is constantly offering clear and effective feedback for getting the most out of each exercise- a telltale sign that he's paying close attention. He makes small adjustments in posture and movements that are immediately felt, and I leave each session feeling like I got the most out of the hour.I would highly recommend Brian. “Kip is probably the first trainer who ever really listened to what I was saying and had a realistic path to progression. It's the first time I really saw the benefits of fitness training as opposed to just suffering without seeing any results. I wish I had someone like Kip 20 years ago. Kip is about action and focus which is what you need as a beginner when there's so much noise out there. He often brings equipment for home visits which is a benefit since you can decide what you might want to get next for your home setup. When it comes to sessions in the gym he can help you get the most out of what's available there too.“
“Best investment in my physical, mental and emotional well being I've ever made! Whenever aspiring mothers or expecting mothers come to me for advice, I always tell them to check out TLM. There is just nothing like it. My second pregnancy was a lot tougher than my first and I started to have all sorts of issues (back pain, pubic pain) that became unbearable in my second trimester. I was fairly active before this pregnancy but I was not well educated on pre-natal workouts (adjustments, pelvic floor training etc.). One of my friends recommended that I do some pre-natal training and I interviewed several trainers but ultimately came to TLM. I loved that they only focused on pre and post-natal and it was a safe space and a wonderful community. I've worked with many of the trainers at the Noe location and they are all professional, knowledgeable and warm. Within a month of starting TLM, despite getting heavier and more uncomfortable by the day, I was in less pain. Every week I pushed myself to do things I never thought possible and it has helped my recovery so much. I stuck with it for 9 months post-partum and I went from barely able to stand on one foot to now crushing single leg deadlifts and 4x 1 minute planks! It was also a good reminder to carve some time out for myself now that life was more hectic at home. I loved seeing my trainers and getting their advice on my pregnancy journey, workout routines and of course, kids! Everything from potty training my toddler to strategies to get more sleep was a welcome discussion. It was better than therapy and I loved every minute of it. I am so grateful for the support TLM has provided to me and I'm confident it can do the same for many other moms out there. “For decades I've had extreme pain and tightness in my lower back and hip joints. My mobility has been limited. Despite my pain, and even though I'm in my 60s, I still enjoy lifting weights, high intensity training and playing soccer, which takes a huge 3-day toll on my back and hips. I have been to physicians, physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists. They all have helped in small, temporary ways. I am aware of the relationships among strength, mobility and pain and I do exercises, yoga and stretching to try to improve my conditions. In July, I signed up with Daivya for mobility sessions and I have had huge improvements in my range of motion and pain relief. Daivya uses stretching and mobility techniques that none of my other practitioners tried. She is an expert on the muscles around the lumbo-pelvic-hip area. She zeroed in on the de-conditioned and tight muscles that caused my troubles. Daivya is expert and professional as a personal trainer. She is also a very kind person.
