“Our 4 year old recently started at Mountain Taekwondo and we couldn't be happier! We looked at several places and felt Master Mountain was the only one who truly cared if our son was ready for lessons and offering a class/instruction appropriate for his age. We've been really impressed with how good he is with the kids and that the classes focus not only on training of the body but social skills and lessons. Give it a try and I think you will be happy!“

“This review is long overdue. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ We love Master Lee and Mrs. Lee! We’ve been taking classes since early 2021, and our daughter absolutely adores her classes here. Thank you, Master and Mrs. Lee! You all are the best! Highly recommend Lee’s Taekwondo! Master Lee teaches the importance of perseverance, teamwork, practice, and eating your broccoli and onions. It’s rewarding to see the kids grow in confidence, passion, and camaraderie over time.“

“Awesome gym, whether you're into grappling, MMA, kickboxing, wrestling, or pure Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Adam fosters an environment that's welcoming and friendly, but that will also push you very hard to become better. The clientele includes everything from people who do it purely for fun and exercise, all the way to legitimate professional fighters. The class schedule caters to these different paths. Just show up with a blue-collar attitude, willingness to work, and openness to constructive feedback. My favorite part about Subfighter is that classes are taught with a "fight first" mindset. Meaning - we tend to mix all of the martial arts in a realistic way that will work for MMA or self-defense. Many BJJ gyms cater more towards sport jiu-jitsu, which can put you in compromising positions if punches and kicks were involved. I only seek out gyms with this mindset (and have found it's surprisingly rare). I've been training for 8 years in 3 different states, and Subfighter is legitimately the best gym I've been to.“

“Z-Ultimate is now my new karate dojo! I signed with Sensei Sarina after taking a private lesson with her. I was of the opinion that the private lesson could not possibly be THAT exceptional to convince me to join Z-Ultimate while being affiliated with another dojo of 11 years. WOW! The experience was "NEXT LEVEL". The lesson was so astonishingly marvelous and I signed up after the private lesson concluded. I admire Z-Ultimate for choosing a female as Chief Instructor. The professionalism, quality, and friendly approach in their lesson plans surpass my expectations. Sensei Anthony's instruction is exceptional as well. The classes are organized, insightful, and professional. I only wish I had known about these wonderful and knowledgeable senseis BEFORE I invested all my time, energy, and money with the (now former) dojo to which I was previously affiliated. Both Senseis are well spoken and educated. Rather than just "going through the motions" these Senseis are sincerely passionate about their craft. I have found happiness and contentment with this dojo. Best of all, I am very excited to attend class and learn from Sensei Sarina and Sensei Anthony. I have found joy. Isn't that what learning is all about?“

“I've been doing taekwondo for almost 20 years and this is one of the best schools in southern California and likely the best school in south orange county. Staff are very welcoming, friendly, and structured. The program is very solid.Grand master Kim being a 1988 olympic gold medalist is so humble and doesn't boast or enforce his position due to his titles, instead he passes his wisdom assertively and creates a great environment for kids, adults, and experienced athletes.I've followed master chase graham since he was a professional taekwondo athlete on the US national team back in 2015. His level of expertise, technical knowledge, structure, and dedication to the team is outstanding. He pushes us to be the best version of ourselves while also giving a great balance of fun into the mix.Mrs kim, grand master Kim's wife handles the main business logistics exceptionally and professionally and creates a great mother-like atmosphere to all the teammates, making sure that everyone is safe, having fun, and also upholding the tradition of taekwondo passionately.Rather you're looking to be the next olympian or just want to get in shape, this is definitely the school to go to. Overall they are highly involved in the tournament atmosphere and overall taekwondo community. I can guarantee no student or parent will miss out on any opportunities or experiences coming to this school.“

“My kids have been students in this dojo for just over a year.We brought our kids here because they asked - they saw the dojo as we walked by, and to them, it looked like it was fun. They were right. Our first introductory lesson (complimentary) was what my wife and I needed to set us at ease and ensure us that we were making the right decision for our kids (five, seven). The staff here have a teaching style that our kids (and many kids) can relate to. This in and of itself is a special talent that we genuinely appreciate. We watched our kids earn their stripes and earn their belts. These are not handed out; the kids need to have a certain level of mastery. Watching the kids’ sense of pride and achievement at each level was wonderful. The dojo is conveniently located and has a good amount of parking, even when the restaurant next door is packed. Finding a spot to park has never been an issue.Being a "karate parent" has been genuinely rewarding. While of course I found myself cheering on and supporting my kids, I really enjoyed watching the entire class of kids progress as well, especially as other karate parents and I would chat.Hands down, this dojo is an asset to our community. We appreciate everything they do and appreciate the individual attention they give to each student.“
