I am so excited to have found Maria and Gloria at Top Knot Hair Salon. My hair was in desperate need of a makeover. My gray had grown out about 2” from my roots and my base color was a mess. I also needed to have about 4” cut off and due to my health, my hair had thinned out so we are going to be doing extensions. Everything we discussed in our consultation a few weeks ago was done. My hair has never looked this amazing. I am feeling so much better about myself thanks to these two wonderful women. They are so experienced and knowledgeable and up to date with everything in their field. I knew I was in good hands. I also have to tell you that their prices are very reasonable. I am so thankful for both of them!!!

Alex dyed my hair, styled my hair, and did my makeup for my wedding (both the “big day” and for events on the day prior) and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! She was really responsive, reliable, and friendly from the first time I reached out to her. Her pricing is really reasonable and she doesn’t charge any hidden fees. She did a beautiful job with both hair and makeup, asked for my feedback, and easily made changes based on my preferences. I didn't realize I would also be getting my hair washed and styled when I walked in for a haircut. I could have easily fallen asleep while getting my hair scrubbed because it felt so lovely.
I was taken aback when she started blow-drying my hair, styled it with a crimper, and left me with these gorgeous waves. Like a mermaid, I felt. I liked that she questioned my specific desires. Most hairdressers will chop off a lot of hair, so I was happy when my hair looked long even after she cut it.

I've been going to Patrick for a few years now every month for cut, color and highlights. I was so happy to find him when we started spending winters in the desert. I really love what he's done with my color over time-changing it up here and there.
His cuts are amazing! He's extremely precise and really knows his stuff. So my hair lays and moves so nicely in spite of my giant cowlick and my hair's stubborn tendency to curl this way or that. His cuts really work with what my hair wants to do, and he's great at transitioning to a new style over time that he thinks will work great for me-and it always does! I'd highly recommend Patrick and his staff-top notch and great to work with.

After Chelsea was done with my hair, it never looked or felt so good. The cut was great and the color amazing; whereas, you cannot tell a bit where my grey is coming in. The light roots was such a good idea. Chelsea is truly and artist.

Well--I finally found a real inking artist. I have been to numerous tattoo artists throughout the United States, and their artistic abilities have been, for a lack of a kinder way of saying this, "messed up." I had one inking on my right hand of a triangle with a cross in the center in 2009. Sad to say--the "artist" (and I use that word loosely) who did it was disorganized and detailed his idea, not mine, of what a triangle with a cross looked like, on the center exterior of my right hand. The design was off center, colors bled, and when I went back three weeks later, the shop was shut down, and the "inking nut" who did the work was gone. Over the years, while working in various regions of the United States, I have scheduled appointment with other artists, only to have them, (1) require a deposit and never show, (2) cancel at the last minute, and/or (3) perform there "artistic inking" in a "studio" that looked like a nightclub. I was told by countless artists over the years that the image could not be reworked, and one told me to go see a dermatologist to have it removed. And--so the tables turned when I moved to Palm Springs and encountered the Picazo Tattoo Studio on the way to my tailor's store. When I entered the inking studio, it was immaculate. It was well lit, excellent studio chairs, and the layout was totally organized. I spent time w/ Fernando, and he was very detailed. I provided him w/ the date the tattoo had been originally inked, a vision of what I had in mind, and we actually talked about various ways the image could be reworked using my idea(s) and his artistic eye. The proprietor is very much an artist. I have seen other tattoo artists who claim to be "artist," while using stencils to attempt to create what I am interested in. Fernando took photos of my hand and requested that I send ideas of what I was looking for in my "cover-up." I also asked him to brainstorm, as I could see he was an actual artist. In fact, when I walked in he was freehand sketching some amazing artwork. I put a small deposit down, and we scheduled an appointment one week out. The day of the appointment, we looked at various images I had sent, as well as ones he had created. Using what seemed like pretty high-tech computer graphics, he was able to generate an image of what my reworked tattoo would look like. On the day of my appointment, we started on time, and we concluded the work without a problem. He was very thorough and explained the aftercare for the image. The price was very reasonable, and I really appreciated that he was accessible by text or email with questions. I am planning on having the remainder of my arm done in a month. Today Jeremy came to my rental house in Palm Springs to fix a recently installed electric cooktop from Lowe’s. Within 10 minutes, he diagnosed that the Lowe’s installer had the wrong sized breaker. He had the correct breaker in his truck and installed it. Within 30 minutes, the job was finished and everything was working great. This was the 2nd time I have called See the Light. I have been very pleased with the service. Mike came just 20 minutes after I called this last time. Black mold was found in my kitchen. I called Rapid Dry Cleaning and Restoration to do the remediation work. The technicians came out very quickly to seal off the area. Over the next several days they worked meticulously to remove all of the mold. They were very professional and kept me apprised of how the work was progressing. The project manager, Andre, was fantastic.
He told me to feel free to call him, day or night, whenever I had questions. I did, and he was very responsive. That meant a lot to me and was just another example of their professionalism. What a great job cleaning my carpets! Richard came out last week and made my carpets look sooo good! They are light colored berber carpets, about 20 years old. Still in good shape but you could see tracking through the rooms. I've had them steam-cleaned before and the tracking didn't come out. But with the Chem-Dry method and Richard's careful and thorough work cleaning them, they look brand new. There's only the slightest amount of shadow in the doorway to the main bedroom but you have to know it's there to notice. Very happy with the method and the service!

When the carpet received from the mill was short of what had been ordered; the installation couldn't be completed. The end product is beautiful -- really beautiful! We had ORD replace our main bathroom cabinets sinks and faucets. What was a 1-2 week job as noted in the contract turned out to be way longer. No complaints on the workmanship but Octavio (the owner) desperately needs a little help in project management. This took way longer than I expected. I suggested to him to keep his customers informed. If there are delays -- OK -- but show the order dates and then corresponding proof of delays . Don't start the demo April 1 and then not install the new cabinets until May 16. Octavio made up for mishaps with discounts and things thrown in -- some of which I was unaware were my costs, which he then covered. He did offer a free cabinet over the toilet and roll-out shelving for the doors under the sinks, plus the cabinet pulls. That was generous. My advice to future customers: YES USE ORD but stipulate deadlines in the contract with consequences for not meeting them. Also ask to be outlined in the contract what are the customers' responsibilities as far as buying parts and their costs. Be prepared to prompt Octavio for updates. He responds very quickly. Octavio said he wanted my bathroom project to show the end-product in order to attain the other bathroom remodels and to do my kitchen, but I cannot be without a kitchen for 2 months. Yes -- an impressive end-product. We love it. I'd love to see what he can do for my kitchen, but in a more timely manner.

I am very pleased to amend my previous comments about PC Construction. There were some issues that surfaced at an inspection and Peter and his team were prompt and professional in making the corrections...even those that were not his responsibility. Some were code changes that no one could have known, except a very particular inspector. Please consider his work for your project. And his stone work is particularly grand.
I actually scheduled with a different door company, but they were about a week out, I had a very short window to get this project done for my client. I got a hold of Donna at Acme sliding glass door repair. She scheduled me the very next morning today at 8 AM. Dylan and Will showed up at about 8:30 AM, explain to me about what was going on with the door, the age of it what they could possibly do to remedy it, taking a bodybuilder to close it. Within an hour two of them, this is an old school sliding glass door keep in mind, but within an hour they had it all apart, new rollers, and back together and working better than new. Acme sliding door repair will get all of my business from this day forward. I am a handyman with a local business that I own some jobs. Just take two people and some jobs take knowledge and experience and that came with Donna Dylan and will so forget the rest. Call the best Acme sliding door repair.

So pleased to have found this local company. We're in need of replacing a front door and five other doors. My experience with them has been exceptional, starting with Paige for the initial appointment. Bruce came. He was very thorough, had some good ideas and explained exactly what will happen during the replacement process. Bruce understood exactly what we're trying to accomplish. The prices are very competitive too. I love this is a locally owned company. The company employs all of their own installers too. While the wait to install my order is a bit long, I know it'll be worth wait! Glad I found them!
We hired DC&M builders to do an extensive master bathroom remodel.Project involved removinging two huge corner windows, enclosing the area and adding smaller opening windows, walk in shower, new custom size vanity and flooring.Mike was the original project manager, project got started, then the delays....We opted to use Onix shower enclosure which is a custom sized and made on order. Once the order is place, it takes 4 to 6 weeks for those parts to arrive. Custom vanity also had to be ordered, which again took 4 -6 weeks after the final measurements were available.Sergio and crew did an awesome job in demoing and enclosing that corner of the house, so that AC did not have to work excessively hard to keep the house comfortable.Unfortunatel in the middle of the project, Mike was no where to be seen or heard from.... No information was coming form the main office... Sergio did not have much information either. They kep doing small bits of work, a few hours at a time, them be absent for a few days.... seemed like no end in sight.Finally, we were informed that there was a new project manager, KC. We were relieved when we met him, and he laid out the steps towards the completion of the entire project.Things started moving along... and after 6 months our master bath remodel was completed.Thanks to KC, Sergio, Mike for initial help in design, Turbo Glass for the shower glass work (even though they had to replace the glass door due to flec in the shower door), and most excellent wood working company (whose name I don't remember - regretfully)....The only reason for four stars is due to delays and lack of communications during the time of their absence from our project.
Mike was available on the spot and really helped when my rental property had water damage to my ceiling. I highly recommend Mike and Paul Davis.

I had been in pain for 3 years. I had tried almost everything and kind of had accepted that I’d be in constant discomfort and pain. I decided to make an appointment with Dr Hall after he had helped my mother regain movement in her neck. His receptionist got me in right away. After a quick 15 minute appointment, I left feeling better than I had in years. All vertebrae In my neck were out of place, my hips, elbow and even my forehead! I returned 2 days later for a follow up. My hips had slipped back out and he adjusted me again with the activator method. I have felt amazing since and this is 2 months ago. I will continue to do follow ups when needed and can not recommend Dr Hall and his office enough. Truly life changing and also delightful people.

I was in desperate need of an adjustment and assistance after waking up to a stiff neck while on travel. Dr Haberkorn was referred by several folks at my yoga studio and was so attentive in listening educating and healing. He worked miracles in my neck and upper back so I could return to practice today, mitigating pain and increasing my range in motion in just one quick visit. He took the time to explain the cause and effect on my muscles joints and bones as they related to one another and the actions (and inactions) of movement.
This place saved my life. I injured my mid-back, which I had never had problems with before. I tried 4 different chiropractors trying to get help as I could no longer stand up straight without pain. I saw Hathaway Chiropractic on an ad on TV. I thought "I must be desperate; I am thinking of trying a doctor on TV". I am so glad I did. The doctor first took an x-ray, which none of the other doctor's did. He discovered that I had compression fractures in 2 of the vertebrae in my mid back. He discussed the course of treatment. I was shocked at the cost and the 10 week commitment, but, as I said, I was desperate. Thank God I decided to go through with it. After the first 2 treatments on the decompression machine followed by gentle manipulation, I already started feeling SO much better! It was like a miracle. I went through the entire 10 weeks and by the end I was a changed person. I now go back once a month just to keep "tuned up". My only worry now is that Dr Hathaway will retire!
My gratitude to Corina knows no bounds. I visit the desert about once a year and I can guarantee I will need an adjustment while I'm there. Corina knows my body well even though I am not a regular (unless you call once a year regular, client, so she is always able to put me straight! She is a wonderful person with a genuine interest in her clients. Cannot recommend her highly enough!
Omg totally recommend Dr gamble the best chiropractor and the massage therapist are amazing if you like deep tissue massage i recommend you Karla she's the best. And the office staff are amazing also they answer the phones and make the appointment right away. I totally would give this more stars but it only has 5 stars so if you would like to get adjusted call Dr gamble and they will get you in right away.

Referred here for specialty dental surgery and all I can say is wow, the dedication, compassion, and care here are just above and beyond. The surgery team stayed after hours for as long as it took to do a quality and amazing job, not even close to an off the clock once it is 5 kind of vet. Awesome shop with great people! Gus never looked or smelt better! They have a dog teeth cleaning service that comes every couple weeks and now my dogs breath doesn’t smell! Like ever! So happy with their work

Classes are very well thought out and taught with exceptionally skilled instructors. All levels classes really are all levels. Extremely friendly and welcoming teachers. Very professional; start and end on time, great client interface with easy to use app, and very clean and well organized space.

Just experienced the Heaven and Earth couples massage and it was amazing! Two hours of massage/sound bath combo and left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and peaceful. The property is beautifully decorated inside and the masseuse was amazing. Highly recommend and we will be back!
I finally found someone that takes my knots out of my neck out and stress throughout my body away! I had an 1 hour and a half session. I highly recommend this for people that are athletic and work with a lot of stress. This isn't a place where you can fall asleep snoring. Chacha uses her legs, knees, and feet to make sure you walk out of there like a new person. I completely understand why she doesn't use just her hands now after I left. The pressure points she took care of was from her knees and it worked! I walked out like I was on cloud 9 or like I took narcotics from my doctor to relax me. She will fix you and you will feel like a new person. Just make sure, you tell her exactly what you need as far as soft, medium and firm massage. She's professional and has all her degrees on her wall entrance, so she knows what's she's doing. I will continue to go, so I won't go insane with my current job. Much needed

I had a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder, and it was very painful. I researched the internet for a qualified acupuncturist and found June. In addition to the shoulder problem, I was having severe digestive issues (GERD) and some liver problems. The first time I went to her office in Palm Desert I could hardly walk up the short two flights of stairs to get to her clinic. Not I can walk up and down in a bris and normal fashion. June immediately went to work on my issues and the shoulder tear is healed without surgery, my digestive problems are almost completely healed, and my liver is well on its way to recovery. June is not only skilled at acupuncture but is also very knowledgeable and experienced at ancient Chinese forms of medicine and healing. I am not a true believer in miracles' but what she accomplished for me is nothing short of a miracle. I have recommended several friends to her and they all speak very highly of her skills. I would recommend that anyone looking for an alternative form of healing (as opposed to drugs with devastating side effects) seek her out. You will not be disappointed.

I have been going for acupuncture for 30 years. Having lived in many cities I make finding a great acupuncturist a priority. I usually know from the approach and first needle if they will be effective for me. Dr. Kim has a unique approach that I have not encountered before. I have a shoulder impingement that he is helping me with. The first few minutes Dr. Kim works on opening up your body channels with a very strong manipulation on your back. Almost like an acupressure massage but stronger. When I first encountered this it was uncomfortable as it is very strong. When he is finished you turn over and he gives you the more traditional acupuncture treatment. It was explained to me that his approach in opening up your body channels allows the energy to flow better when you are getting the acupuncture done. I have gone to Dr. Kim 3 times so far. During the first 5 minutes I swear I will not come back because it is uncomfortable. By the time I leave, I feel great and of course I make another appointment. My shoulder is feeling much better. I have had many people try to treat my shoulder in this past year and Dr. Kim thus far has made the most improvement. This has been an interesting process for me and I am happy with the results. I will be interested to see the process for when we transition to a "tune up" and maintenance mode.
