My boys, ages 9, 6, and 5 has been attending classes for about two years (started when they were 7, 4, and 3) and has grown in confidence, focus, and physical ability. The instructors are passionate and knowledgeable, and the classes are always engaging. I highly recommend VCMA to anyone looking for a positive and rewarding experience.“

6632 Carnelian St, Rancho Cucamonga“Both my son and daughter have been attending Master Kang Taekwondo for years now. My daughter started as a little lion and recently achieved black belt. My son started as a white belt and got his first degree black belt last year. The whole family loves MKT. Master Kang, Master Yu, and Hannah really do a phenomenal job of taking care of our kids, making sure they learn and grow, not only in Taekwondo, but as people. They stress so many great values and we cannot be happier with all the amazing progress my kids have made.“

3836 Emerald Ave, La Verne“I highly recommend Red Dragon Karate in La Verne. My 4-year-old son has been attending for 3 months, and it has already made a huge difference in his confidence, physical skills, and emotional development. This dojo goes beyond teaching karate; it instills values like character, discipline, and teamwork in kids. Sensei Haley is incredible - my son admires her and eagerly looks forward to his karate class each week. We are so grateful we found this place!“

659 E 15th St f1, Upland“My child took the trial classes, we loved it. Trying to work out our schedule and be able to attend during fall! Master Kim is super patient and has a great mix of fun and seriousness to the lesson. My little girl has great workout and laughter.“

1842 W 11th St D, Upland“Defense Arts Center is the place to go if you are interested in learning or having your child learn authentic, traditional Japanese Karate. My son has been going to DAC for a year now and it's been a great experience for him. The instructor, Sensei Ty, is very professional, kind, and caring. His karate program teaches kihon (basic moves), kata (forms) and kumite (sparring), as well as self-defense movements. While there are many karate dojos/training centers around this area, including Upland, Ontario, Ranco Cucamonga, etc., this is the only place where you can learn real Japanese karate-do, namely Shotokan karate, one of the four major styles of Karate that are Shotokan-ryu, Goju-ryu, Shito-ryu, and Wado-ryu.“

1202 Monte Vista Ave Suite 11, Upland“I’ve been with Kali Method for about 13 years. It is a Dojo. A place of sanctuary where we as students can hone our ability to maintain discipline and serenity throughout life especially when unexpected circumstances arise, for discipline is an art, and this school is the highest caliber of that art and of the Martial Arts over all in my humble opinion.
This is what this school has to offer and beyond… It trains you in self-defense through the practical use of the Filipino Martial Arts known as Kali & other variations. But what you learn from here goes beyond the mats, the dojo, & the lessons..
The lineage of Gurus (Teachers/Instructors) are impressive and impeccable. They stay true to the art of the Kali flow with several black belts already achieved. Needless to say, it is a place of Kaizen, of Ikigai, of Ichigo-Ichi, of Kapwa, of Kalipay, of Mabuhay.
Above all it is a place to learn and evolve. We already know that we have decided to come to this Earth, but we are here to discover our WHY, and why we came here and what we are here to learn.
I assure you, if you read in between the subtleties of this dojo, you might find your answer in this dojo, at the very least, you will cultivate enough personal power through Kali Method to see the way & to follow the path for the rest of your life.
Kali Method has thought me this; Your path challenges you because it knows your strength.
I’ll see you at the Dojo, I’ll see you at Kali Method.“

6939 Schaefer Ave J, Chino“Master Matthew of Chino Taekwondo is an exceptional Taekwondo instructor. As a Korean who moved to the United States at the age of 16 and now a father in my mid-40s, I have been practicing Taekwondo since kindergarten and am currently a third-degree black belt master. I never imagined that such a great Taekwondo school would be right in front of my house. When my son turned four during the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to bring him to Master Matthew's school. Initially, my son was very shy and hesitant to start, but now, at the age of six, he is excited and determined to attend regularly. Master Matthew's teaching style is outstanding from a Korean perspective. The Taekwondo instructors I trained under were very strict, rarely smiled, and were quite intimidating. In contrast, Master Matthew is more educational, gentle, and has a fantastic ability to connect with children. He creates a positive and encouraging learning environment that has greatly benefited my son. I am impressed by how well he balances discipline with kindness, making the classes both effective and enjoyable for the students. I highly recommend Master Matthew to anyone looking for a top-notch Taekwondo instructor. His dedication and expertise make him an invaluable asset to our community, and I am grateful to have found such an excellent Taekwondo school for my family.“

14610 Pipeline Ave, Chino“Being in Krav Maga has not only taught me how to fight, but it made me become a better person and more confident. I am able to stand up for myself. I never thought I be standing up for myself. I owe it all to Sensei Johnson for helping me and guiding me to be tough and helping me reach my goals. I joined Krav Maga so that I wouldn't be afraid, weak, and timid. This is something that gets me through the day. When I walk into the dojo, I am a completely different person. I went on a 11 year hiatus from 2010 to 2021. I never thought I see myself back in this dojo. I never thought I see Sensei Johnson back. I wish I was continuing Krav, but I am back now and I am turning myself around. If you join krav, stick with it. Don't make the same mistake I made.“
“We started coming here based off of a friends recommendation and I am so glad we did! My son loves practicing karate here and it is a fun, safe, learning environment. The kids start as a white belt and work their way up. We are about six months in, and so far my son loves it. He enjoys coming every week and is so excited to start practicing his moves once he gets home. Master Lowe was a substitute teacher previously, so he knows how to work with all behaviors of children. He is patient, tough when he knows the kid needs it, nurturing and caring. Master Lowe talks with the parents and keeps everyone informed on how their child is doing, what the upcoming events are and any changes to the classes. I would definitely recommend bringing your kid here!“

11966 Jack Benny Dr #102, Rancho Cucamonga“This dojang produce quality taekwondo fighters. It's very common that first time TKD parents are not aware that A LOT of taekwondo schools hand out belts like candy bars, most of these schools dilute the standard of USA taekwondo. Master Bobby Morales of Knock Out Martial Arts has produce olympians, national team members and international athletes.“
“My son has been training at C-Quence Jiu-Jitsu since 2016. I have only great things to say about my personal experience here at C-Quence. John Muñoz and his family are very professional and knowledgeable in training students from all ages. John has coached and trained champions from different arenas in the MMA world. Including World Jiu-Jitsu champions, King Of The Cage champions and currently working with UFC fighters. If you’re looking for a solid place to train and learn from the best in the Inland Empire, this is the right place. I highly recommend C-Quence Jiu-Jitsu. There’s no BS here only hard work.“

12648 Limonite Ave, Eastvale“Our children's experience here has been nothing short of amazing. They have been training here for the past five -six years. Like most kids are reluctant to change especially in the beginning. However, thanks to their friendly staff Grand Master and Master Mario have managed to instill the confidence and tools our kids self-consciously have been looking for. We have seen the growth in our children, and we are thankful to Champion Tae Kwon Do.“

8423 Rochester Ave STE 102, Rancho Cucamonga“My grandson loves this place and we like the variety of classes offered for his age range. My only concern is that while I watched him get consistent attention from the instructors, his (female) sparring partner was ignored three times in a row. She even walked up each time after, asking for help and for them to watch her (she was doing the moves incorrectly, but no one was helping her). That really concerned me. :( She was literally asking for help and no one would help her. Finally the fourth time the instructors paid attention to her and helped her form. So just keep an eye to ensure all the kids are getting equal attention.“

201 W Arrow Hwy, Pomona“I started here in 2004 , stayed until the year 2012. Mr.Wilson will forever be in my heart, not only does he teach great , but he cares about you like he’s your father, he checks your grades, checks up on you on how your life is going , and gives you talks when you’re not doing so great at home/life/school . He always pushed me to do better , even when I kept trying so hard to give up. He made me the strong person that I am today. Even though I’m not tough like a tiger , I will forever be the tough princess haha. This is honestly the greatest place I have ever trained at. Thank you so much for everything that you did for me when I was growing up.“

570 E Baseline Rd, Claremont“I highly recommend Excel Taekwondo, Claremont located in the Baseline shopping center next to Vons. My son absolutely loves it! His instructor, Master Rhee is a phenomenal teacher and mentor. He teaches the kids of all ages discipline, self control, indomitable spirit, perseverance and having a positive attitude. Master Rhee makes the lessons fun yet challenging. My son looks forward to every session and wants to arrive early to get started. My son is listening better at home and seems more confident and most importantly happy.I think it's a great foundation of principles for kids of all ages. Thank you Master Rhee!“

“I recently took a Woman's Self-Defense Class that was to support the Susan G Komen Foundation. This class was so great and I can hardly wait to go back. Good practical tips and tools plus we got to practice them with opponents. The class was small but I strongly suggest checking it out, especially in this day and age. It was mentioned that they will start doing these quarterly which I know I will attend.“
