It was a stunning view and Amelia was a great teacher. I really liked the way she spoke about which move was coming next and I felt very comfortable even as a beginner. Highly recommend hiring her if you have an event.“

Basically, it felt most worth my time and money. I learn so many different things from all the teachers that I do not mind driving from Moraga to Oakland 2 to 3 times per week.“

“This place is a true treasure of wisdom. I have been doing moment for 30+ years yoga, tai chi, martial arts. Working as a professional and a teacher for 20 of those years. JinSung was showing me things that are fundamental to movement and alignment that I have never seen or heard of. In three class I have had breakthroughs that I didn’t know where possible on a physical and emotional level with relationship to my body and moment. I would also like to add my friend who has no yoga experience and does not work out loved the class as well. Please do your self a solid and take a beginner level 1-2 class with JinSung and come with an open mind and heart and see what happens.“
“This studio is both comfortable and quirky. Comfortable bc the studio owner was creative in how she converted a home into a yoga center. Quirky bc the artwork was eclectic and representative of local artists' work. Treina is very sweet and cared about her studio“

“My initial evaluation by Dr Feng was very enlightening, with a bonus of chronic pain relief. I’ve been treated for over a decade by a ND, who has helped me significantly. However, I am traveling across the country again to see Dr Feng. He’s given me hope that I can heal myself.“

“Vita is an excellent yoga studio in the Rockridge/Elmwood area. I'm a newbie to yoga and was brought here by a more seasoned friend, as I was looking to both increase my flexibility and strength. It's in a convenient location that's super walkable (if you're not local to the neighborhood, it's about a block from Bart and there are multiple bus lines nearby). The studio is bright and clean with a modern and inviting atmosphere. The studio is on the smaller side, though, but that's common with boutique and locally owned studios (if looking for a bigger work out area, it's probably better to go to the bigger chain gyms/studios). The classes are challenging for both newbies and advanced yoginis. My first class was a power vinyasa class (probably a bit too advanced for me haha, as I felt the pain and gain the next day haha). I have also taken a meditative yoga class and a candlelit yoga class, both of which were great workouts for unwinding and distressing. Also the instructors here are awesome! It's locally owned and they have challenging classes, but they also take time to explain things or help if you're new. I also really like that they have some free mats that you can use during your class (so, whether your a beginner or advanced student, you don't have to lug one around for a class there. Or if you forget your mat at home or are in a rush, you could use theirs as a back-up.) After your class, there are wipes you can use to clean the mats. It's also wonderful studio for parents since they usually have childcare available. Overall, a great locally owned yoga/Pilates studios that I'll continue taking classes at.“

“Used a class pass at this hot yoga studio with my daughter and enjoyed the class. Be warned that it is hot yoga so not for the feint of heart. The class was 90 minutes long so the extra time made it harder. I admit that during the last 1/2 hour, I was itching to leave. Thankfully that's when the resting poses come in. The heat does add to the workout and heats up your body. I need to get more acclimated to the temp! Lots of fun, I can see why folks enjoy it!“
“Left Coast is an absolutely amazing yoga studio! Most classes are warmed to around 82; initially I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy this but I love it. Instructors are warm and friendly, giving clear cues on how to get into the poses with the right alignment, and without hurting yourself. My favorite teachers at this location are Deb and Malka - Deb teaches slower Alignment Flow and Flow + Restore classes and Malka teaches Power Yoga, which is more of an energetic vinyasa flow. Also love some of the newer teachers, like Zach and Malika. Definitely check it out! They have a great new student special - first month of unlimited classes for $75.“
