“J&M termite are amazing. I wanted a second opinion on a termite inspection for a house I was buying. The inspector, Louis, did a very thorough job. When J&M's report turned up a lot of work the first report hadn't, Louis talked me through the report and the findings on the phone, answering all my questions. Because of the second report, I was able to negotiate and make sure the sellers covered the cost of the required Section 1 work. I also had J&M do most of the work -- the house was tented for termites and beetles, and then a substantial amount of framing was replaced (the total pest report was around $14k). The work was performed by Robert and his colleague. Robert was also excellent: a few places the work was less than expected so he updated the quote, and finished half a day earlier. Robert also talked me through when most of the underlying issues are coming from, which is really helpful as I get quotes to fix the roof for the underlying source of leaks. Robert also signed off on some of the work that another contractor (that the seller had organized) was doing that J&M couldn't do themselves, and again was extremely thorough, catching work that would have been subpar and working with the contractor to make sure their work was up to standard. Having a termite infestation in a new house is scary and unpleasant, but J&M resolved it painlessly. “We had Attic Star to replace the air ducts in the garage. They did a great job from start to finish, and communicated promptly and well. I got couple estimates and Kalev ,the project manager, was thorough in his walk through. He pointed out few things that other estimators missed and was creative to plan the ducts placement for future renovation. The ducts were wrapped with asbestos, which they subcontracted to a licensed asbestos removal company to remove the day before duct installation. Kalev handled the coordination which made things easy. Jaime, Manuel and Victor A. came on the day of duct installation, and they were hardworking, professional and easy to work with. They did a great job installing the ducts and addressed all my questions. The office was also quick to address my follow up questions and forwarded the air quality report from the asbestos company.“

““You are in good hands” with this company! Tim came for inspection; he was friendly and explained things well. Before arrival he called to inform me the ETA. As an experienced professional, he did a complete inspection and provided very good suggestions regarding what needs to be done for our situation without adding other nice to have items. We had 2 areas with evidence of drywood termite infestation leading to inaccessible areas with one that was treated couple years ago by another company and now becomes uncertain. The primary recommendation was fumigation but I could tell he had been thinking about how to do local treatments for the difficult spots. At the end he said he’ll give us options of fumigation or local treatment that may be doable by injecting/spraying liquid chemical combined with scoping walls for those difficult spots.<br><br>After some Q&As upon leaving, he gave me his business card and said contact him 7 days/week before mid-night for any questions. They don’t work on Sat/Sun but we did exchange calls/text messages on those days. On the report, they specify what kind of chemicals (liquid/form) to be used unlike some companies the list goes up to 10-ish chemicals even they would use only 2-3, which really made me confused and frustrated couple years ago.<br><br>Their package met our current needs (warranty, extended warranty, price) plus the very good reviews everywhere, we decided to go with them. Armando, the president and owner, came to do the treatments. He was amazing during the job, very experienced, professional, knowledgeable, skillful, resourceful, and communicated very well. He took his time to tackle each issue carefully without rushing it through as he insisted of doing it right the first time. His approaches to the solutions were very logical. His skills were outstanding by observing how he drilled, how he conducted trouble shooting test, and hole filling. I was in a big relief after he completed the treatments. I have not met anyone like him, so patient with many good skills. Now I understand why he and the company received all the great reviews. You will be grateful to work with this company!“

After we signed up for the job, Jesus and the crew came with a truck that had a long tube to suck out the old insulation, installed new insulation, blocked openings that the rodents could enter the attic through, and set mouse traps. They put coverings on the floor, stairways, and walls to protect the house interior. Ricardo came for the follow up visit and removed a mouse that was caught by one of the traps.“

“I was referred to this termite company by a local realtor here in Fremont, Tim Wang. I needed a termite inspection due to visible evidence of some kind of infestation around a window in our South facing bedroom and had a side door to the garage (original, 45+ years old and cheap quality) that was in dire need of replacement. I was hoping that I did not need the house tented because we have 5 rescued cats that would be a big hassle to temporarily relocate. Herbert came out and did a thorough inspection. I was very pleased that he did not see any other locations (outside of our back window/wall) with evidence of termites. I liked the fact that he gave me choices of what I could do myself as a homeowner (I'm an old DIY'R) but I'm getting too old to crawl under the house and didn't want to handle to chemicals. I had him give me a quote to treat the back wall, attic and crawl space as well as a separate price to replace the door and threshold. The price was good and I am totally pleased with the work. He and Charlie took care of the termites by injecting chemicals into the wall, attic and crawlspace. They sealed the interior drywall and even offered to paint the patches (we declined since the wall needed a repaint anyway). They worked very hard any kept me informed of what they were doing specifically as the day progressed. Charlie was in the attic and even explained that the top insulation (I had super insulated the attic many years before) perforated plastic covering would not stay on because it had fallen apart because of the heat. I must now have the best garage side door in my neighborhood - I did not ask for the replacement specifications but they picked out a door that is much better than the one I was expecting - insulated and completely weather-stripped. If I need any work in the future, I will be certain to call Herbert. I believe that he is also a licensed contractor so there is probably more work for him at our house.“

My daughter's cat has been with us now for a few weeks, and I noticed after Phil had left that he had emptied and turned upside down the water bowls to ensure that the cat wouldn't drink contaminated water. “These guys came to our house and did such a great job on patching all the holes at our house and attic for rodents. Our community has been plagued by rodent for a long time and I often heard rodents running inside my attic. After they patched the holes and laid the traps and the noises are gone. There is no more rodents in the house! They are also very responsive and responsible for our call. We used to call terminix but they ended up sending signature home here anyway. Why need the middleman when you can call these guys directly instead?“

When other services wanted us to pack up all of our belongings and spray harsh chemicals on our new cabinetry, Kelly said he would be able to take care of it conservatively without bombing our new house with poison. “Had an emergency with bees in a fireplace, it was a closed wood stove yet somehow many of them ended up in the family room. We called, they came, and were very professional, communicative. They vacuumed out the surviving bees, cleaned up those that didn't make it, AND put a preventative screen on the chimney. I called in the morning and the situation was taken care of by 1:30pm. “I had a fumigation performed by Best Care this past weekend. From the initial contact with them through to picking up the key to return to my home, my experience was excellent. Starting at the beginning of the process, I called and asked to speak with someone who could help me understand the prep work required for a fumigation. I ended up speaking with Don, who patiently answered my questions and educated me on the process. Don also volunteered to come to my house and walk through the interior/exterior and tell me what could be done to achieve optimal results. Thank you Don - it was great to meet you in person! When the crew arrived on fumigation day, they were friendly and efficient. 4-5 people showed up and immediately began to tent my house. They took care to not damage the gutters, roof and solar panels - as I had highlighted to Don during our walk-through. I returned to the house a couple of days later to find my house locked, windows closed, the key hidden where we agreed to hide it, and the Notice allowing me to re-enter posted on the front door. The plants were in good shape, and the gutters, roof and solar panels were also in good shape. Overall, the property was left clean and tidy. I learned Best Care Fumigation does 10-20 fumigations per day, which equates to 50 a week, ~200 a month, and ~2,400 a year (using 10 fumigations per day as the basis). They have the knowledge, skills and abilities to fumigate your house efficiently and effectively.
