Had a rat problem in the townhome I was renting out to tenants. First tried a couple guys from Thumbtack--they patched some holes and did some proofing, but kept wanting to charge me every time they came back without actually fixing the main issue. Then I found Gilbert. He guarantees his work for 12 months with unlimited pickups, but honestly, haven't even needed it since he did the job. Rodent proofing's tough to feel good about paying for, but I'd trust this team over the other guys for sure.
My doctor gave me a list of PT places but I asked her who she liked and she recommended Daphna Ross so I called her and I am so glad I did. Daphna helped me so much! She is so knowledgeable, kind and patient. I highly recommend her!

We like that she integrates well studied, new research findings into her advice. The support staff is kind, excellent and efficient. The name says it all! We have used this wonderful, local caregiving service for my elderly mom for over 3 years. At first I needed just a few hours several days a week of relief/support with light housekeeping, daytime supervision, medications and meals. By last October my mother's mental and physical health was deteriorating to the point where she could no longer be safely left alone and I was worn out, so we made the transition to 24/7 caregivers. It was easier than I'd anticipated and has been a huge relief. Francis and his staff are unfailingly responsive, friendly, reliable and know this business inside out. He "got" my mom immediately and has been terrific at selecting caregivers that provide a good match for her. EC@H offers time block options, flexibility, pricing and hand-picked caregivers that you can't get with a big national company (we tried one for a while--lots of billing errors, difficult to communicate with, not very carefully screened caregivers!). Our caregivers from EC@H are wonderful: respectful, kind, careful, well-trained. They've followed "to a tee" the COVID protocols set by Francis throughout the pandemic. I'm so thankful for their sacrifices to keep my mom safe! My mother has gone from initially rejecting the idea of "strangers" in her home to accepting and actually thriving on the daily routine, stimulation and loving attention! I can't recommend Excellent Care at Home highly enough!

I have now been doing personal training with Sheena for 7 months. Let me share my results:-Lost 8% body fat-very noticeably looser clothes (especially around arms, butt and waist)- thinner face-Way better cardio health. I can now hike, bike and paddle again easily keeping up with my husband and teenage son- I am now a morning workout person which I love because it gives me more energy during the day and I just naturally drink more water and less coffee as a result-Less stressed. I don’t know what took me so long to do this. I have been going to Erin Garcia (co-owner) for at least 15 years. I spent a year searching when I first moved here from LA. I approached 2 different women and asked them who cuts and colors their hair. Both said Erin. I knew it was a sign. Erin is exceptional at meticulously threading your hair to make highlights look completely natural. She also does an amazing haircut with texturizing, if you have curly hair like myself. The reason I am finally writing a review for Erin is because today I asked her to do things a little differently. And she absolutely nailed it. I have dark brown hair and I told Erin that I don’t want to look like I have blonde hair because we all know that I have brown hair. I asked her to keep my hair dark brown while at the same time giving me a chunkier caramel colored highlight. Erin has never given me chunky highlights because that has never been what I wanted. So today when I asked her to go outside the usual box she absolutely killed it. I love my hair right now. Also let it be noted. I am 100% gray, so the color you see it’s all Erin . Did I mention she also does an amazing haircut? Be mindful that it will take you a while to get an appointment. But, she also has a great staff that can cover your needs if you need work in a pinch. I have been seeing Cindy Moore for a few years. I followed her to Hairitage from another place because she does a wonderful job on my hair. I rely on her expertise on color and shape. I continually get complements from people I know and even STRANGERS about my color treatment--from the first day after going to the salon to the day before I go back again! She is extremely knowledgeable about how different hair textures and colors react to different color treatments.

Went to Michelle and all I can say is wow! My nails look beautiful. My nails are real and very long. Michelle did an absolute perfection of a job on both my nails and gel pedicure. I might add she actually scrubbed my feet which a lot of places don’t do these days.

My daughter got her nails done at a different place originally. However, she did not like them at all and they looked nothing like the picture she showed. She was devastated since it took her a long time to grow her nails out. We then called La Morinda Nail Salon and they were so friendly and accommodating. They were able to fit her in and did a wonderful job on her nails. They looked identical to the picture she showed them! They were very kind to a young woman who was clearly distraught. Thank you to the ladies of La Morinda Nail Salon! We will be recommending you to all them friends.

Tracy and Lucy are so wonderful. Tracy greeted me and got me to a chair immediately. She made sure I was comfy and grabbed Lucy to help with my feet. Everyone is so sweet and nice here. The shop stays busy but they don't let that get in the way. Tracy greeted several ladies by name as they came in and took care of them and me all at same time. #wild I found this place a month or so ago when my regular shop experienced a fire causing them to close. I was getting my car detailed and saw the nail shop, why not? Today was my third trip and I'm sold. Pinkies shall expect my business from here forward and I'm telling my friends. Awesome haircut. Morgan fixed my bad cut. Which was over-texturized and too short. She gave me advice and took into consideration my preferences to get through the next couple months and grow it out. The perfect consultation. I look forward to returning even though it's a bit expensive for me.

Danielle is the best. I have been going to her 12+ yrs and she is the only one trust. My dark blond hair easily turns orange and brassy when lightened. Several other stylists have been confident they could handle it but they failed leaving me orange, but not Danielle! She stays current on different styles and new products so if I want a change she is prepared and educated. Bayalage, Yes! Olaplex, Yes! Beachy waves, Yes! I always feel like a star leaving her care and with my locks on point!
Ms karen place is so cute! She made it a very fun and comfortable for my daughter. She puts a lot of attention toward the kids experience. You can tell she absolutely loves what she does! Her new place is super clean and adorable. Karen moved to a new location in Walnut Creek with parking right in front. The place was very easy to find and right off of the north main exit. I cannot say enough about how much I love how Kate has transformed my hair! I realized that the Denise W review is referencing my hair! Thin, it was greying, I was coloring it myself. Kate worked with me to transform my hair to a blonde/grey combo that completely hides my grey. But I can now go 3 months without coloring, and it still looks good then! Baby highlights to blend with my grey. Coloring less and changing up my shampoo/conditioner routine and my hair is also healthier now! I would like to add that I never leave reviews, but want people to know about Kate! She is the grey whisper (how I found her on a FB group).
Great barber shop for toddlers and kids. Kristine is so patient and helpful, more importantly she knows how to approach kids, which is key! She also does a great haircut, strongly recommended!

Alex came to my mom's house before my wedding to spray tan me, my wedding party & mom. She was knowledgeable, so friendly, and fun! It was so seamless and easy! She set the tent up quickly in my mom's yard, and we all felt comfortable with her immediately (which is important bc you won't be wearing much while getting sprayed). It was the best and we made it be a little party! The tan was beautiful and lasted for a long time! Super grateful for her services, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Everything was cleaned up before we knew it and no trace was left behind! Highly recommend her!
It's been YEARS since I've seen Tonya and I still miss her every time I need a was. EVERY. TIME. She has been extremely helpful with skincare tips and works on building a relationship with her clientele. She is patient but quick and super communicative/responsive. If I'm ever back in the area and need a service done, she's my go-to. I've referred all my friends to her. I may even make the 1.5 hour drive just to start going back to her. I also rarely ever leave Yelp reviews but truly miss her so much that I had to get online to leave a review.

Sandra Martin is an amazing aesthetician. She is warm, calming, and knowledgeable. My teen who has acne sees her frequently to control its spread. She has helped minimize his pores and he feels much better about the texture and appearance of his skin. I did not want him to be on Accutane and I am so thankful that her effective and natural approach saved the day. I would recommend her to anyone because of the results I have witnessed after only a few visits and on top of that, she is reasonably priced.

I contacted Big Red after having read great reviews here and on NextDoor. So glad I did! This is a first rate company in every way. The owner, Kathy Kovell, is so experienced, knowledgeable and fun to work with. Her crew, most of whom have been with her for some time, are just terrific. The sub-contractors she hires are people she has worked with for years and who she trusts to do an excellent job. She holds everyone's feet to the fire, too! They built a casita (ADU) for us and, while they were here, we engaged them to have our roof replaced, a driveway added, a retaining wall and a pathway. The casita is beautiful. It was completed on time and on budget. The work is first class in every way. We absolutely could not be happier! If you are remodeling or needing to build something, you will not go wrong contracting with this great team. We are so glad we did.
Andrew has worked on big and small jobs and each time I'm awed by the combination of artistic and contracting skills. He's a gem that is hard to come by. My kitchen was small and falling apart. Its now worthy of awards. He raised the roof, put in skylights helped me make choices that I had been stressing about for years. We recently finished a 15-month full home rebuild with Lamorinda Construction (technically 12 months, but you know how county permitting goes, especially during a pandemic). From start to finish, we worked with Kari, Lance and her team to have the most beautiful dream home that we hope to enjoy for years. Since we had never done this before, we trusted Kari and her choice of architect, subcontractors and vendors who truly helped put this house together. Every square inch of this house has been maximized for the new 1800 sq. ft. footprint with more storage space than we probably know what to do with ... and that includes having laundry in the house and being able to park our car in our single-car garage!Of course building a home is stressful and we did have our moments, but the team is consistent and dedicated. It was so nice to get to know them all during the course of this project. We know the quality is top-notch and feel like our home was built with love.
I just LOVE this dental office. I was introduced to Dr. Victor Chaney in December of 1979, I have been a patient ever since. My children all grew up with Dr. Chaney. I go in every 6 months. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Now we have Dr. Alex who joined the practice. What a wonderful addition. Both Dr. Vic and Dr. Alex are so personable and caring. All their work is professionally done with a gentle touch. The patient’s comfort is always their number one concern. All the office members are so friendly and helpful. I first saw Dr Jakobsen when I was 14 years old running cross country. Now I see him whenever I'm in town because the fact is no one compares to him. While other chiropractors focus solely on the spine, Dr Jakobsen notices the whole body. If your knee is off or your shoulder is off, psoas muscle is tight, etc, he will notice it AND fix it. He also has the most positive and warm energy and I always leave there feeling pain-free and more hopeful and optimistic about my health problems. Very grateful.
I have gone here about 10+ times. I was skeptical at first because in the past, I have gone to many Chiropractors and I didn't feel like there was a significant change. However, I was referred to him when I had this annoying nerve that radiated from behind my ear to the top of my head. I didn't expect immediate results, but when I saw Bob he talked through every step of the visit and made sure that I was comfortable. After my neck adjustment, the annoying nerve issue just completely went away. I believed that there was a pinched nerve somewhere. As an Esthetician, I see him for monthly maintenance due neck, shoulders, and lower back pain. It is helping and it brings down the stress and tension. I don't usually leave reviews much unless it is deserving, don't hesitate to book. He is great!
Dr Cynthia Lynn is hands down the best. It’s so reassuring to know a good avian vet is nearby. Mad props to her from my whole flock.

MDVM always provides great and friendly service to our pets. My dog isn't always thrilled about having a visit, but she knows the drill, sits on the scale upon entering & goes happily with whichever tech comes out to get her. My most recent visit was for a vaccine, but I had a question for the doc regarding a past follow-up visit that required a visual. She took a quick peek and advised, and we were on our way without need to schedule another visit. Our pets health plan stayed on track. Thanks Dr Fan!!

Esther was recommended to me by my Kaiser physical therapist for manual lymph drainage (MLD) massage. From my first meeting with her I felt at ease and "in synch" with her. She went to great lengths to make me physically comfortable (I don't do well lying flat on my back), and made sure the lighting and room temperature was comfortable for me. She has a very upbeat (but calm) personality, and the massage got my lymph system moving. Looking forward to my next appointment!
Last minute decision after our anniversary dinner and got lucky they were available! Wow wow.!!! Lulu was amazing and obviously knew what she was doing. All of my stress melted away and she worked out all the knots. We don't live nearby but we will make the trip out here again
New patient here, with much thanks for pain relief of an acute muscle problem. I've used acupuncture in the past for low back pain, but this was a new more challenging problem. Very thankful for the kind, caring and professional treatment I received from Dr. Dierauf over two weeks and four sessions.
