This review is overdue, I visited Skin Soup on 4/28 after making a trip to SF and was in dire need of a skin makeover with an upcoming honeymoon. It was last minute so I wasn’t able to book an appt with the owner Lauren but she was kind enough to squeeze me in with her esthetician Emily who was 5/5. She has the most calming and kind demeanor which already puts you at ease and while being extremely thorough, she also was excellent at explaining what part of the process we were in during the facial session. I've been woefully bad at keeping up with facials but badly needed a skin refresh. Luckily I was able to book a Whole Soup facial with Emily. It was my first time and Skin Soup and with Emily but it won't be my last! Emily was knowledgable, gentle but firm with my skin, and offered terrific recommendations for my age and skin type. She never came across as anything but helpful and even in the days after my facial as well as implementing her suggestions, I have seen a noticeable change in my skin. I'm super glad to have found Skin Soup!
