“I know that my fur kid is in good hands with Randy whenever I travel. From cowering in the car and having to be “dragged” into the facility during his first visit, he now hops out of the car and wanders in on his own accord. Randy has been nothing less than a godsend for my nervous little boy. Also really appreciate the cute video updates that I receive from time to time!“
“We had a great experience with Dog Squad Training. Les was awesome! Very knowledgeable and patient (with the dog and the humans). To be honest, the training was more for us than it was for our pup. We learned about ways to make communication (commands) more clear for our dog and picked up strategies that we can continue to practice. I highly recommend Les and would gladly work with Dog Squad Training again.“
“Mike is a knowledgeable and effective dog trainer who is invested in your pup! Our GSD puppy, Hunter, went through Mike's puppy level 1 and 2 classes and it was the best way to start our journey as dog owners. The classes provide supervised socialization, Q&A, individual dog assessment/attention and training exercise practice. My husband and I finished the classes feeling confident in continuing the training and our dog has a great foundation for more advanced obedience. Thank you, Mike!“
“Our pup got his haircut with Cindy. She is amazing. He usually gets a little anxious but he lets her do his paws and hair cut without any trouble. She sent me a message with updates. I would totally recommend her and we'll be back. Thank you so much!“
“Karin is amazing! She is a true dog whisperer and extremely diligent/ knowledgeable AND hilarious fun throughout the whole process. Our puppy is a rescue with some real issues, she was honest and frank about who he is and provided a path forward. We are forever grateful for her care and support, without her training and mentorship we may not have been equipped to keep our pup. Thank you!!“
“Shae is truly a miracle worker and the most knowledgeable dog trainer!I recently adopted a dog through a rescue. I wanted to set myself up for success, and I sought Shae’s services right away. Within the first few minutes of meeting our dog, Shae immediately had a good assessment of our dog’s personality and had her complete attention. Shae gave us so many helpful tips to improve the relationship and training of our dog. It’s only been 3 months with our new dog, and every week we’ve seen such a huge improvement in her behavior, and it’s all thanks to Shae. It’s so clear that Shae loves dogs and is passionate about training them. Don’t wait one second and book a session with Shae. Your life and relationship with your dog will change for the better!“
“Love taking Rally classes here. Great for my pup to use her mind, and really nice way to boost our human-dog relationship“
“My dog has never been happier! The staff is incredible & super friendly. So excited I found the Dog Social Club“
“Maribel has been very attentive to our dog's needs when we have boarded her at her home. She called us to troubleshoot when our pup was eating very little (a bit of away-from-home anxiety) and went above and beyond to entice her to eat with some extra treats. It's great to know the dogs get beautiful walks in the woods, and to feel they are in such good care.“
“We had our first session with Pete today. Already, he has worked wonders with our very reactive Kerry Blue Terrier. He uses a common sense and individualized approach to training that incorporates both positive and negative reinforcement. He is kind, gentle, and respectful of the dog while being very effective. It is clear that he loves his work and connects in a positive way with our four legged friends“
“Courtney is amazingly knowledgeable and thoughtful in her teaching. She is also SO patient (we have a pug puppy and he requires a lot of patience imo). The directions she gave were so useful for everyday life with our little guy. She asked questions I would never have thought of that helped our guy to have a happy puppy life with a good foundation for being a good boy in adulthood. Highly recommend and am so thankful we got to work with Courtney.“
“I had a very good experience here.
I knew the cats were very well taken care of. They were nice enough to share some photos while we were away. Both Kona and Zelly didn't really want to leave, haha.
The price is reasonable. A lot better than a lot of cat hotels in the area.
It was nice to know that our kitties were with people who love animals and they had a good time there.
All in all, I would recommend it and return.“
“The BEST keeps getting better! 5 Stars for taking great care of my furry friend for 7 days. My dog isn't the most social and he came home getting along better with his dog park friends! Puppy Love kept me updated with pictures of my dog everyday and when he came home he was happy and well exercised. Great group of people caring for the dogs and very professsional. I looked at other places in the city and Puppy Love is leaps and bounds above the rest!“
“I want to applaud the staff at Metrodog. My 8.5 month-old Louie has grown up so much since spending afternoons in your care. He seems more calm and confident and his outgoing nature is being rewarded with all of you and the doggies! I appreciate our partnership. It really does take a village.“
“We truly consider the Barkmont part of our dogs family. I am so thankful to have a group we can trust when we go out of town to take care of our dog. She always runs right into the door when we drop her off and comes home exhausted from all the fun she has. They are very communicative about policy changes and we respect their choices they make to keep our dog safe. With the increase in kennel cough this winter we were nervous boarding her but they assured us they were consulting with vets and made decisions to protect our pup. We really like that we can see the dogs playing during the day on the webcam and that they also seem to make good decisions about when to put them in quiet time to nap. Our dog does often come home smelly from all the playing, but we've just started adding on a bath to her reservation and she comes home smelling fresh and ready for a long nap. When we have had issues where our travel plans are delayed they are very accommodating and kind and let us pick up later than we expected to. It's just so much less stress knowing we have this understanding group of amazing people taking care of our dog when we are gone.Truly love the Barkmont and so thankful we found them.“
“I have nothing but the most amazing things to say about Ricky. I enrolled my 6-year old cockapoo in Ricky's 8-week board and train program. My dog has longstanding aggression issues that were becoming increasingly untenable. Ricky was very upfront with me from the beginning about the possibility that even intensive training may not be enough to change my dog's aggressive tendencies. He never overpromised, which is something I really appreciated. After several months of training, Ricky told me that that even though my dog was doing well in his practice, only a professional dog trainer such as himself would be able to handle his level of aggression. Ricky walked me through all my options and told me that his professional recommendation would be to get our dog behaviorally euthanized. He offered to take our dog to the vet for euthanization to save me the heartache, and he also made time for me to see my dog beforehand to say goodbye. More than anything, Ricky has a heart of gold for both humans and dogs. I gave him my dog at a time when my family was experiencing a protracted crisis and I did not have bandwidth to take care of a high-needs pet. Ricky went above and beyond to support me and my dog during this time. I am so grateful to him. Even though I am incredibly sad that my dog ultimately had to be put down, I know that he lived a wonderful last few months in Ricky's care. I would recommend Ricky to anyone in a heartbeat.“
“Alright, here is where I rescind the previous review; Broadway Pet redeemed themselves when the abscess would not abate and she needed to be seen again. They took her right away, luck of the draw perhaps, but no emergency appt. fee, the vet, Dr. Schultz met with me, did a thorough checkup and explained the rule-outs and plan of action for it. My concern was for the necessity of lab work recommended to change antibiotics, a condition that has not been fully detailed to me as needed, and as the cost of labs are the insane part of the bill (340), I challenged that part of the estimate, and they withdrew it and gave me a different antibiotic straight up. They also waived the second abscess draining fee, that was stellar, and their overall care, concern and management of me and my cat was so much better - like the old days. They ended up doing TWO drainings, and guess what? Found a foxtail in the second one, which they gave to me to show me. That's good service. Second bill was 125, Yes. They did right by me. i remain loyal, as they demonstrated their commitment wholeheartedly. They are good.“
“Loved there service we left our puppy for daycare and they explained very well there process and aswell they answered our questions and they even gave us update on our puppy since it was slinky first time at daycare i would highly recommend this place thank you very much for having slinky in good hands“
“I did not get good news about my 16 year old Cat ?. However I really appreciate the Doctors honesty.“
“5 stars for Vanessa as a groomer! Specifically for having the patience and strength to handle trimming the nails of my energetic pit/lab mix. One of the rookie groomers turned him down, but Vanessa stepped up and became my go-to for nail trim appointments“
