“Village Fitness and PT is a wonderful place. I used to be in great shape, but a car accident and back injuries have caused me constant pain and I had not worked out for 25 years. Then I stopped by Village Fitness one day to check it out, as it came highly recommended. I started working out in May of 2023 and it has made a huge difference in my body and my life. I feel better and stronger. The trainers are great and work within each person’s abilities. The class sizes are small (1-8 people) so the trainers can give you a lot more individual attention than at a typical gym where you might have 20-40 people in a class. I have used the physical therapy aspect of Village Fitness and PT as well and the doctors are very knowledgeable. They even have nutrition classes and coaches! What I love most about Village Fitness is all the people who work there. They are always full of encouragement! I’m just so glad that they were recommended to me. ?“

“Came to this gym after not being active for over 3 years during COVID. I had some CrossFit experience, but not much and coming back was hard. Coach Maria was really the one that kept me motivated and encouraged me the entire way. Now it's been 9 months and I absolutely love coming here. Initially I was coming 3 times a week, now it's around 5-6 times a week. Every single coach here is amazing. They care and take the time to help you in any way they can. They will show you 10 different ways to modify a movement and find one that you are comfortable with. If you are recovering from an injury, they will find something else you can do. They put your safety first and never force you to do something that can injure you. Will you feel sore a lot? Yes. Will you get pushed further than you thought you could ever go? Yes. You will be so impressed and encouraged once you commit and push yourself to do things you never thought you could and this is the place that will make it happen. Little by little I am seeing improvement. I started out not being about to do pull ups, now I can get a couple strict and several kipping. I couldn't do toes to bars, so I did knees to chest; now I am able to connect a few toes to bars and little by little I am able to do more of them unbroken. Everyone here is on their own journey and you will see a vast assortment of skill levels as well as people of all ages. I am so glad I decided to join, it has changed my life. I feel good about myself and have met so many good people.“

“Where do I even start? I've been a client of Hugo's since 2022. I was looking for someone knowledgeable, kind, professional, and motivated. Hugo is exactly THAT. I can say with confidence he is worth the investment - one that will not only change you physically, but mentally as well. From the beginning Hugo was clear in detailing what it would take for me to reach my fitness goal (macros, exercise, sleep, water intake, etc). In the gym he always reviews the exercise beforehand and that's helped tremendously with my form as a gym noob. This foundation has helped me avoid injuries and gain strength. It's also made me a smarter consumer of the fitness industry. The amount of fitness misinformation on social media is astronomical and I'm happy to say the knowledge I've gained from Hugo has helped me decipher the lies from the truths. During sessions I appreciate how he checks in on you if you are having a hard time keeping up and adjusts the exercises as necessary. They are still challenging but not to the point where you feel like you're going to pass out. I've been with coaches who push you to the point of exhaustion and that's never been fun. When it comes to macros, he's helpful in giving tips and tricks to stick to them. He shares ways to meet your protein intake both in your diet and via supplements. That's been the hardest part of my fitness journey, but if you're consistent that will change your body the most! That being said, what makes Hugo stand out from the other trainers are his personal values and personality. He strongly believes in family and giving back to the community. He's constantly trying to learn from others and uplift those around him. Bearing witness to that example motivates me to be disciplined and healthy.“

“After having 2 kids, I was really out of shape. I had gained an extra 15 lbs over the last 4 years. I knew it was time for a change when I started having pain in my foot. Not only that, I wanted to be healthy a strong for my kids. I used yelp to find HypeCore Fitness and Julian got back to me very fast. I made an appointment and he went through the program, nutrition and my fitness goals. He is very thorough. Currently, after about 2 months, I have lost about 9 lbs based on the suggestions Julian made to change my diet, workout and lifestyle. I think if you want to invest in your health, this would be a great place to do that. Some of the things I like about this fitness place are: - scheduling - very versatile and flexible - trainers - personable, tailored to your fitness goals, and knowledgable. - gym is clean - people are nice, can be a place to build community I am very thankful for the encouragement and help that I have recieved from Julian and his staff. I feel a lot stronger compared to the last 3-4 years. I am looking forward to further improvements in the future.“

When quarantine restrictions kept us away from the gym, Debbie made the transition to online classes. Just like in person classes, she demonstrates exercises, checks and corrects form and challenges us. If you need modifications due to equipment limitations at home or a pre-existing injury, she will have a modification to meet your needs and keep you moving. “I contacted Chris the week before the Corona Virus stay at home order and I started doing FaceTime training sessions to fit my schedule. Chris is very accommodating and started working at my level (out of shape and overweight). I lost 20 lbs in less than 2 months with stretching & exercise to get me back in shape but most importantly changing my eating habits. I feel better, my back problems have gone away and my energy level has increased tremendously. I've also started walking more regularly as time allows and sometimes even jog/run and my legs/body don't feel that strain on my body anymore. I Highly recommend to contact Chris if you want to start loosing weight, feeling better & being healthier . I'm in my mid 50's and the last few years my doctors remind me that I'm border line diabetic and my liver doctor also told me to cut down on carbs but don't tell you how to go about it. I tried to avoid going to the doctor to hear the same thing: loose weight, watch your diet, take Omega 3 vitamins. Now I want to see doctor to get an update on my health status.“
