“8-2-22 I just want to take a moment and recognize Dr Merlín Sonny she is an outstanding Physician I met with her today due to some medical issues that I was experiencing but Dr Sonny went beyond the call of duty she listened to my problems and was very understanding and concerned for my care she is an asset to Gateway Medical Center,Kudos to her entire staff for the treatment I received she made my HMO look like a PPO Dr Sonny thank you so much for your kindness and your concern for my health. “Workers Comp care is excellent and some offices with larger number of patients that they need to process with medical appointment will take an extra hour. Allowing patients opportunity to check in for appointment 15 minutes late due to frequent mid-day traffic incidents is tolerated which will affect wait times.“

“The staff was super friendly, caring, and answered my questions without me feeling like I was being rushed out. They took their time with me. No wait time.“

“Fast easy and the people here love their job. I didn't have insurance and the visit cost was $100 and then I got a strep throat test and got 2 medications from there and my total cost came out to $130. Which is something I would gladly pay over thousands of dollars to go to the emergency room.“

“This urgent care was amazing! Everyone at the front was just so kind. I came in with a sprained ankle and the girls in the front were so sweet and hospitable making conversation while helping me out. They went out of there way to make sure I was comfortable. I went in and got X rays done and found out it was broken and was in complete tears( im 23 but cried like a 10 yo) they gave me a cute little monkey stuffy and were so kind. They wheeled me out and with my prescription and were able to answer all my questions through my tears. Just want to let the owner know, your staff is amazing!!“

“Every year I get seasonal asthma attacks usually during the spring or fall. I walk in to urgent care in Buena Park when my symptoms become severe. My time wait is minimal, Staff attends with courtesy, doctors wait is minimal, listen, and understand what is needed. Treatment is done and I'm ready to face another day. The doctor is knowledgeable in knowing what is needed to relieve my symptoms. Diagnosis is accurate in what is needed for medications. What I appreciate is there follow up call the next day asking how I'm doing, and is there anything else needed. I do recommend urgent care in Buena Park when Urgent Care is needed. Then meeting Layla who addressed my medical issue; she was professional AND friendly too! While I hope I don’t have to frequent urgent care facilities; if I did, this would be the one I would choose.“

“This is my go - to urgent care. Decent wait times. I've never had to wait more than an hour. Staff is very friendly. The last time I went , I took my daughter in for respiratory symptoms. The nurse or MA who attended us was friendly and so funny. She made my daughter's experience good. The providers are attentive and listen. I'd definitely recommend this urgent care.“

“Really quick and easy to get in. I went online and made an appointment for urgent care within the hour and entered all my information ahead of time. It made for a smoother check in process. The front desk person was friendly and the PA saw me within 10 minutes. They have a machine that can look at your eye even though there is no ophthalmologist on site. It's good for the initial look.“
